  1. I'm thrilled the Falcons lost today:

1 - A couple years ago the Bills had a trade in place for Tony Gonzalez. He vetoed it because he wanted to go to a "contender"

2 - It was incredibly arrogant of the Falcon's GM to trade 5 draft picks to get Julio Jones. This signified they believed they were "1 pick away" from the championship.

3 - I'm sick of hearing how great the Falcons and "Matty Ice" are, when they've done nothing. Who do they think they are, the Jets?

  2. Oh yeah. I'm convinced the NFL is fixed, (since the PIT v SEA Superbowl), and not just by a few random officiating mistakes.

Consider the Bills v Cowboys game. The only 2 storylines coming into the game for the Bills were David Nelson's girlfriend and the Cowboys stadium being built on Freddy's house. The Bills lost 44-7 but Freddy got his 100 yds and Nelson scored the only TD of the game.

Correction: I'm not totally 100% convinced the NFL if fixed, I just have a sneaking suspicion. Wouldn't be surprised if it came out one day. Too many "Darlings of the NFL" always seem to conveniently squeak out victories at the last minute when faced with playoff elimination each year (see Jets).

  3.

    8) No flag for pass interference just before the 1st half? Is that what happened? It is time to question the integrity of the NFL. Sorry, but it is. There is only one reason to overturn a call so obvious. Yes, I am making a direct allegation of corruption. Btw, there was an equally flagrant non-call at the end of the Vikes/Lions game. Economic times are tough, and I am directly accusing the league of corruption.

  4. stupid friggin baseball game ran over and I didnt get to see this weeks' episode

If you have Time Warner you can get old episodes on demand. When your TV is tuned to any major network, just hit your select button and a pop-up with an on-demand option will appear. You'll then be able to browse all networks' shows.

  5. OK, time to go take my heart medication . . . I thought a Raider had the ball in the end zone pile at the end.

    GO BILLS !!!!

Wow - game of the century

Great game from Stevie, Freddie, Spiller, Dareus, Fitzy and Searcy (with the int at the end)

In general, our dbs need to to step up.

  6. Why does everyone care what Lee Evans does> He's not a Bill now so he's dead to me. Do you care what Marshawn Lynch does? He's dead to me too.

Actually, How Evans does this year is a *HUGE* indication on whether *OUR* front office knows what its doing.

  7. I know this isn't the common theme, but I think with one more year working with Chan, & some studs around him, I believe Fitz can get it done. He's got a quick release...something we haven't seen in a very long time, & he's a good decision maker. He won me over last year. Also, I believe Brown will be a fine #2 (smooth release & a good head on his shoulders). So let's pick pick up a #3 off the garbage heap & beef up with some studs this year...starting with Dareus.

Trent had a quick release. I saw it on Sports Science with John Brenkus.

  8. I've watched Urlacher look slow and sloppy for most of the 1st quarter. He makes Poz look all world. What's the fascination with this guy?

During the first part of his career, urlacher dominated. He's running on fumes now. I heard a few years ago he has arthritis.

  9. I'm no expert but I just have to disagree with this assessment on tight ends. It seems like all the good teams in today's NFL have an above average tight end. Gronkowski and Hernandez set the world on fire as mid range targets after Moss left New England. The Saints immediately got better toward the end of the season once Graham started contributing in the red zone.

At the best, a good pass catching tight end can be a major contributor. At the least, he can be a nice safety valve. At the moment, we have neither.

I sometimes wonder whether a team having a good TE is a sign they have all the other holes plugged and can afford the "luxury" of getting a good TE. In this case having a good TE would be an effect, rather than the cause of success.

  10. The 2010 Buffalo Bills season was.... pathetic. I am a die hard fan and went to every home game as well as 4 away games. And the bills have a lot of problems starting with their passing. The Bills are ranked 24th in the league for passing yards while were only averaging 197.4 passing yards a game! We need to draft a quaterback in the draft so we can hopefully get this number to at least 250 yds. Lets face is, Carolina is going to draft John Luck. Denver isnt going to draft a quarter back, because they already have tim tebow who put up decent numbers for his rookie season (keep in mind he only started three games) so Denver most likely wont pick a quarter back.

If the Panthers are dumb enough to draft John Luck we'd be foolish not to grab Andrew Luck with the 3rd pick.
