  1. IF Cousins becomes available we should be all over signing him. He is not the athlete nor has the arm of TT but clearly is the better QB. This team is forever on the verge and more than likely we will be just short of the playoffs again. We are short on WRs this yr but even when had all our weapons TT did not utilize them. The one thing this team has lacked during the draught is the passer to get us to the playoffs and Cousins would be just the guy to get the job done.

Bills do need a True Pocket Passer. Guarantee you all those poor thrown passes yesterday are better with Cousins. Plus more TD's instead of Field Goals.

  2. Yes but realistically the chances of you selecting the correct guy aren't much less than Whaley's and that's not in any way a knock on Whaley, it's reality

Agree Dak Prescott worked out great. As was pointed out we also took a QB in the 4th round, just not the right one. Can blame Whaley for that if you want, but 31other teams also passed on him multiple times. Outside of NE, Green Bay, and Indy, every other team in the league should have jumped on him knowing he'd be great. And if Dallas was so smart and knew he was going to do this great they would drafted him much earlier.

We could fire Whaley for that move as many here wish and then hire some brain child from some other team, who likely was involved in that teams decision to pass on Prescott too.

It's just laughable all these comments that we need to find an elite QB. Like it's a simple as on draft night Whaley will proclaim he is drafting an elite QB and that resolves it. Either Whaley or his successor can decide to cut Taylor and draft that elite QB that everyone wants, but the reality based on history is we have a much better chance at selecting someone even worse than Taylor than better, regardless of what round he's selected in. That's life in the NFL!

That's six teams out of 30. So are you telling me these teams all knew when they selected the current guy, he was really the answer. So when Oakland selected J Russell, they knew he'd suck but they just picked him anyway. Cinny has selected so many QB's in the past 20 years or so many very high draft picks, lost track. Do you honestly believe if any of those teams had known the guy they got was going to be even half as good as he turned out, they would have waited until they did to select him.

What I'd tell those teams is they got lucky. The only one of them that actually can argue really put some thought into it was New Orleans in that they traded for the guy, the rest were just dumb luck

Remember Whaley wants to Fix EJ Manuel! He had a hand in drafting this clueless wonder!

  3. I say we go all in on offense and just take our lumps on defense. Stack the O with great players and score a lot of points. You can give Rex 22 All Pro defenders and he will screw it up.

It could work. Billick was supposedly an offensive uber mind but his team won with defense. The reverse has been true to a degree with Bellichick.

The real answer is to get a real coach, which is something we haven't had in a long long time. Juan was actually the closest thing we've had to one but he was missing that fire. Fire is about all Rex has except in spurts. his teams look fantastic for brief periods then get beaten by better plans. It has been happening for years.

Rex' early Jets team played with much better talent. He had a darn good GM that helped to build a Playoff team. Mike Tannenbaum. A rookie QB that took team up to Gillette stadium beat up the Pats with Brady and won a playoff game....That is good....Billick was a mister perfection Hc that eventually cost him his job. Has not been any where since.

  4. >>>>>Typically, a drug policy violation would allow the Bills to get out of all guarantees, but a rare clause in his contract limited the punishment to only the year of the misstep. In other words, Dareus’ 2016 guarantees went out the window, but all other guarantees through 2021 remained untouched.<<<<<

Would anybody like to once again sing the praises of Whaley? Just another example, maybe the biggest of all, of Whaley pissing away the resources of this football team. He really needs to go.

    AMEN!!!!!!

I like what Whaley's done, but the lack of a "pot clause" is a very bad look for him. I don't pretend to know if it was him, JO or RB pushing this thing to get it done, but this is some seriously bad judgement on their collective part. Given the likelihood of a non-disclosure agreement pending his firing, we'll probably never know.

Was Dareus actually in Rehab? He was seen in a club right after he said he was going to rehab. Over paid BUM!

  5. You know who they should "let go of"? The idiots who gave him that contract, starting with Overdorf. I'm sorry but it's true - an accountable organization would send those clowns packing. But this is the Bills, so I'd expect they'll be defended and promoted.

Exactly. Does Pegula have a clue about what a winning football team is supposed to be? I agree gut the upper organization from the Ralph left overs.

  6. Who's going to trade for a monster contract, multiple suspensions, and doesn't even have the discipline to be in tip top shape in week 5. You pull a groin and hamstring in his case because your not in shape and overweight. Don't forget a couple of years ago he came to TC so out of shape he couldn't practice for almost two weeks.

Fire Whaley for creating this mess! Damn shame a selfish Nose Tackle. care more about his bad habit than his teammates...Loser.
