  1. has little to no bearing on his ability to play football unless you want to cut him based on some moral position in which case you're delusional, the only difference between dareus and most other young NFL stars is hes dumb enough to get caught. cutting him DOES NOT make our football team better even from a locker room perspective, in my opinion the team would do well with a veteran presence, somebody like ed reed...

  2. Do you really think the multi billion dollar company called the washington redskins would choose to name and pursue an enterprise that has a deragotory name? If the name was truly offensive, how many fans would they have? How many seats would they sell? If it was the Washington spics, kikes, !@#$s, retards, etc...nobody would show up or support the team regardless of their race or ethnicity....The people who still did support them would just be attention seekers and psychos that nobody would want to be associated with. This is obviously not the case with the Redskins, whose native american fans grossly outnumber the number of native americans actually offended by the team.

  3. I bet it plays well to female/non-traditional demographic. Is there really that much info you're trying to ingest that an extra 10 minutes of buffer is a big deal? Like others have said, every 5 minutes there updating you on what color johnny footballs underwear is I'm happy whenever they bring me somethign new...even if it is just some liberal fodder.

  4. Distractions? How about get used to it...I'm sick of the sentiment among fans that these grown men somehow need to be babied or protected from reality. You know what they do after practice? They load up their SUV's with their boys and some hookers, paint the town with booze and blow and then practice the next morning.

It's kind of like the idea of not having two QB's on your roster to avoid hurting anyones confidence...give me a break....if youre a multimillion dollar human thorobred, you should have no problem being in a stable full of them. If it were me, and thankfull its not, any QB/WR that gets flustered because I sign another one instantly outs themselves as weak minded and unfit for professional football.

  5. Haven't posted on TBD for several years...though haven't missed a single game over that time. Having lost faith in the organization I disconnected myself a bit from the front office and really debating or analysing the merit of their actions

Also shortly before that time I moved to goergia for college, I now watch and attend more SEC/ACC football than I do NFL and I can tell you straight up Mr. Watkins is a special player. It wont matter who the QB or coach is, he will perform and produce. Mark it now, he IS the best Bills WR since Andre Reed and could be better with similar help.

Perhaps to help the above confusion with the idea of losing/gaining a first pick. From a business perspective, you look at it in the following way:

You enter the deal with (2) first and fourth round picks each between this year and next. You exit the deal with (1) first round pick and (1) fourth round pick between this year and next. You are giving up 2 picks total, which averages to 1 pick per year. I don't offer this as an argument for the watkins trade...when it comes to football I accept that I'm an idiot. This is is just the "business end" of the deal, for all the armchair GMs.

Anyways, I don't think EJ is "the guy" which makes losing next years first a truly gut wrenching gamble. I look at it this way, the rest of our team looks very good on both sides of the ball, when you compare it to rosters around the league it is without a doubt a playoff team with a big question mark at QB. I then ask myself what this offense would do with guys like Chad Henne, Matt Cassell, Kyle Orton, Alex Smith...again I think we make the playoffs. With all of that in mind, if EJ is not at least average, we can certainly improve the position without a first round pick. Not ideal, but at this point the deck is so stacked we are not living and dying with EJ anymore.

  6. Wrong.

    This year alone:

Collie, Harvin, Maclin, Nicks, Knox, even Crabtree all had more catches than Evans.

The fact that you can type "Wrong." with such conviction in the face of every NFL coach/personnel guy's belief that WR is among the hardest positions to transition into from college is very indicative of your lack of football knowledge.

  7. Great coaching today.

Bomb to T.O. to put it away. Instead of safe runs.

Attitude in the 4th qtr. is something we haven't seen in years.

With all due respect the bomb was a Fitz audible that I'm willing to bet the coaching staff was not happy about. I agree with the sentiment though, great win!

  8. I ask again, where were all the moral, "stand up" I-will-leave-if-we-sign-this-guy fans when:

Travis Henry was working on 11 children with 10 women

Marshawn Lynch was getting arrested 3 years straight with the most recent for drug and weapons possesion,

Willis McGahee had kids with two women within 4 months of each other

Dante Whitner arrested for aggravated disorderly conduct and resisting arrest

Ko Simpson was charged with hindering police

Corey McIntyre was charged with indecent exposure

Anthony Hargrove was charged with harassment, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief

Umm...I'm pretty sure there were dozens of posts condemning all of those guys and their screw-ups. Either you have a very poor memory of you're one of those that likes to ignore reality if it helps make your post seem more clever.
