Just watching the highlights, number 42 for Buffalo is useless, he was easily taken out on most of Henry's big runs. That defense is in trouble!

I think the market is over-saturated with merch as it is. It's beginning to resemble a Trump grift now.

That 1980 squad was a great team.

Booth Lusteg, Bills kicker, missed four field goals in a game, including a 22 yarder to win the game with seconds left on the clock against the San Diego Chargers in War Memorial, on October 16, 1966. It ended a 17-17 tie, and was the first Bills game I attended.

I’ll start with who belongs on be list and worry about the rankings later.
Kyle Williams
Thurman Thomas
Jim Kelly
Andre Reed
Joe Delamielleure
Eric Moulds
Bruce Smith
OJ Simpson
Kent Hull
Cornelius Bennett
Josh Allen
Billy Shaw
Butch Byrd
Cookie Gilchrist
Steve Tasker
I'd rate Mike Stratton ahead of Cornelius Bennett, and Robert James ahead of Butch Byrd. Before James tore his knee up, he was All Pro three consecutive years.

Booker Egerson. He was every bit as good a CB as Butch Byrd.
Watch the 1965 AFL Championship game; the Chargers didn't score in that game, but he was the weak link.

I'm thinking TP, Beane, McD, Dion, wives, and other teammates all flew out on Terry's jet.

One picture showing McD sitting with his wife who is holding a parasol. Dion seated in the row in front of them, and Beane sitting in the row in front of Dion. I think Gabe Davis is standing in one photo wearing a tux. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/nfl/article-14768579/josh-allen-hailee-steinfeld-wedding.html

Cole Bishop = Coy Wire at best
Coy Wire carved out a nice career as a CNN sports reporter.

Listening to Vince Carter (limited owner) speak with the press left me very impressed. I think he will be a real positive for the team.

I don't see one person in the stands wearing any merch; lot of coats and ties though.

It's April
So what? In July, at training camp, the pundits will be writing "so and so" eats raw meat, and that's fine, but if this team can't at least clear the AFC Championship next January, then you'll be hearing the same chorus of "get rid of McDermott", "time to move on from Beane", or "another wasted year of Josh Allen's prime".

Robert James...a magician with the bump and run. All-pro 1972, 1973, 1974; suffered knee ligament damage in 1975. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_James_(defensive_back)

This makes good business sense; Hallmark is located in Kansas City. Hallmark has a media production company which is very big into Christmas. They screen Christmas movies exclusively on all their channels beginning around Halloween, and running through to New Years. Chiefs were featured one of their Christmas movies last year; the Bills are supposed to be this year. It's a market the Chiefs could capture.

I’d take him back at the right price..
What's the right price got to do with it? It's a roster spot; the guy was terrible last season. Bring in someone else and improve the roster.

I had to remind myself that we win 11+ games every year.
Hey, I'd take a half dozen 7-10 seasons, if they came with just one goddamned championship.

I;d like to see him at Milano's Will spot
literally everyone in the AFC has lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs for every year except one since what, 2019 playoffs? So does that mean EVERYONE is average?
You give any one of those "average" teams Josh Allen as their starting QB, then I think that's a completely different stat line. And that's the difference: Bills have a once in a generation starting QB, but they are hamstrung by a HC and GM with obvious shortcomings who happened to luck into Allen.

Not going to win with a Beane picked, McDermott coached defense. Last time everyone blamed Leslie Frazier. The problem was/is much deeper.

They missed on Kair Elam. Beane has to do a better job on his end. I think McDermott has been forced to make chicken salad out of chicken shyt and has been successful but I think KC has proven in the playoffs that our personnel has to be better
Elite defensive coaches don't lose playoff games in the last 13 seconds. McDermott is mediocre.

Since 2000, teams with 4+ TDs and 0 Turnovers in a playoff game are 59-3
The three losses
Bills vs. Chiefs in the 2024 AFC Championship
Bills vs. Chiefs in the 2021 Divisional Round
Chiefs vs. Patriots in the 2018 AFC ChampionshipJosh Allen has 25 tds and 4 turnovers in 13 playoff games.
Bills defense have now surrendered 38, 42, 27, and 32 points in all four of their losses to the Chiefs. What makes this STAT most alarming is each one of those scores was the most points the Chiefs scored that year in the playoffs.
Bills have a defense issue and it is painfully obvious they will never win until this is addressed. Allen basically has to come out slinging immediately because his defense does not give him time to breathe. I've watched Mahomes, Brady, Burrow, Manning all struggle early in games only to win because their defense made multiple stops in the first half. Bills defense have serious problems against elite competition and this is year 5 of this mess.
This is one hundred percent on Beane. He is ridiculously overrated as a GM.

I think it's time to move on from Beane. His drafting is spotty; lousy high round busts. He overpays on contracts. If not for lucking out with Josh Allen, these Bills teams going back five seasons would be hard pressed to win eight games a season.
So how did Matt Milano do?

I thought Milano, as well as Dorian Williams and Bernard, were completely negated, especially Brernard who was tossed aside by that big Ravens line.
