  1. i noticed there were a lot of posts saying how great this draft class is already based on roughly 2 weeks of TRAINING CAMP and 1 PRESEASON game. Im all for hoping but im also a realist. remember six years ago Buffalo had one of the worst, no screw that, THE WORST draft class in team history, if not the worst in the NFL the past 15 years.

    1. Erik Flowers

    2. Traveres Tillman

    3. Corey Moore

    4. Avion Black

    5. Sammy Morris

    6. Leif Larsen

    7. Drew Haddad

    8. Dashon Polk

... Christ that makes me laugh and gag at the same time and lets be honest, most of us were feeling pretty good about that class at the time of training camp...

  2. this is similar to a post a bit down on this page but say a QB (preferably Losman) does in fact step up and play, not just "okay" but *gasp* above average, (as in more than 200 yards/game for once and maybe more TDs than INTs) do the bills have all the tools in other positions to make a surprise [playoff] push?

...or are we still scouting Brady Quinn like madmen?

  3. With Evans, Parrish, Davis and Price all on the team, and presumably our top 4 Receivers (in which order, who knows), it seems like the Bills are going for a much more aggressive style offense. So, does that mean that Holcombs out of the QB race? Id say yes. We all know JPs got a nice arm but im not sure about Nall. Looks like the 3-headed "monster" is already down to 2 by default

  4. True, its not likely. why would a talent like that fall so far? teams wont draft for need if he gets there. But if they do, we have to take him right? Ngata would be a good consolation prize though.

BTW, enough with that Losman bashing/drafting a QB. if levy does that, he'd be crazy and itd be like the first time he let the bills down. Give JP a chance

  5. Houston: R. Bush

Saints: trade pick to Jets, who take Leinart

Titans: people say Ferguson but i kinda think Young/Cutler

Jets: Saints take Mario Williams or Vernon Davis

    Packers: AJ Hawk

    49ers: Davis or Williams

    Raiders: Cutler/Young

    Bills: Ferguson?!?! or Ngata

  6. OKAY OKAY: heres the scenario

Pick # 6 behind SF (Bush), HOU (D' Brickshaw Ferguson), NYJ (Leinart [ok so this ones a stretch, hes def top 5 though]), ARZ (AJ Hawk) and GB (Mario Williams)

Again: OT, OG, DT, CB, S or LB

  7. i posted earlier about nc n here r more of my thoughts:

i sure hope he stays in buffalo cuz he is a lock down corner and quite frankly (shout out to stephen a smith! haha riiiight) i wouldnt want to see terrence mcgee lining up across from the moss' and TO's of the league game in and game out. hes not bad but hes not nate clements. if the bills dont get him signed, i get the feeling that we will b spending a 1st rd pick on a CB for the 3rd time in 6 drafts

  8. Backup RB: ReShard Lee, Shaud Williams, Lionel Gates, Joe Burns

Starting DT: Ron Edwards, Tim Anderson

Starting LT: Mike Gandy, Jason Peters

3rd, 4th, 5th WR: Roscoe Parrish, Josh Reed, Sam Aiken, Jonathan Smith, Will Peoples

Nickel Back: Kevin Thomas, Jabari Greer, Eric King

My Picks: Lee, Edwards (who'll do great), Gandy (although maybe not all year long), Parrish @3, Reed @ 4, Aiken @5, King (to start off preseason and then Thomas when he gets healthy)

Reply with your input and then check out my Tuesday Camp review in an earlier post

  9. well tuesdays practice was really kinda uneventful. im not gonna break down each position cuz its too long and im kinda pressed for time but heres the standouts and important players i saw today:

    Standout Players:

-Terrence McGee: the kid was crazy today knocking down atleast 4 passes that i saw and playing real good man to man coverage. his style is very similar to nate clements and you can tell they worked together. expect much improved coverage from him this season.

-Ray Preston: Mularkey likes him so clearly hes doin something right. after seeing greg jerman practice at center (and getting destroyed by the D-lineman and making some terrible shotgun snaps) preston stepped in and made some nice snaps and really controlled the line. hes going to be a standout and frankly, i wouldnt mind seeing trey teague at LT w/ preston our starting Center: hes really that good

-Mario Haggan: this guy was a 7th round pick??? personally, he showed very good ability during the in-game situations but most importantly, he showed his leadership and knowlege of the game when he was in. he was constantly calling changes in the defense as the leader for the backups. i truely think he could start for most NFL teams.

-Will Peoples: made a few nice catches and might see the practice squad

-Roscoe Parrish: as good as advertised

    -Lee Evans: see Roscoe Parrish

now jp losman looked alright by me. now im not going to question "billsguyinmalta" cuz i dont know him but frankly, i thought losman looked terrible during mondays morning session and just passable in the afternoon. today was more of the passable. he made the throws he had to but he didnt stand out. there were a few nice completions that would have been big gains but not much else. also, note to jp: the pocket is your friend and unlike at tulane, ur linemen have some skill so use them!!! he still runs too much for my liking.

greg jerman has no chance to make this team. anyone who was at mondays afternoon session probably saw (or heard) takeo level him in some blocking drill and today, as mentioned earlier, he was awful again.

fast freddie smith had a subpar practice as he dropped around 2-3 balls which isnt bad but they were definitely catchable. hes now fighting for a roster spot with Peoples making some nice plays.

  10. haha thats great and i hope ur right. i also feel strongly about mcgahee being the next thurman and evans being, well... i guess eric moulds (cuz andre reed is untouchable in my opinion)

I think that over the next 10-12 years we will come to love JP Losman as we did Kelly. I predict we will return to the same glory type of Franchise we had before, because of him. I predict we will win a SB in the next 4 years. I predict alot of things, ALL good for JP. He will be the Cocky, self confident gunslinger we need. He will demand greatness from his teammates. He will go to Pro-bowls.

I know he has thrown a total of 5 passes in his career as of right now. But I have a funny feeling this guy will be something special. There have been little hints and glimpses of what he has to offer. This has been said before by some, But I will say it here again. He reminds me of Brett Favre. I remember when Don Majkowski was injured, and Favre came in and stunk it up. You could see the ability and future oozing out of him for all to see. Majkowski was supposed to be the MAN in GB. But he never took the field again.

The way JP has conducted himself here in the first year of his career makes me hope and dream of greatness for him. Sure, I could predict doom and gloom for him and the Bills. Lots of people will and have done that. I wanted to give another opinion about the Bills Future.

    Only time will tell.

    GO JP!

    Go Bills!

GOD, I LOVE this time of year!!!!!

  11. every one is so concerned with where travis henry ends up. while it is rather compelling to see which new jersey he will wear, bills fans are forgetting the most important thing: gettin nate clements resigned!!! tom donahoe and the rest of the bills front office need to get clements a contract extention asap. if they dont, and somehow, it wouldnt surprise me, i absolutely dont see him in a bills uniform next year. this cannot happen because then we'd have to spend another 1st round pick on a CB: the 3rd time like 6 years! GET CLEMENTS AN EXTENSION!!!
