This whole thing with Krumrie and his little test is cute and good print, but if college football players leaving school can't beat a 45 year old man in strength drills then they shouldn't even be coming to the NFL. Seems to be some sort of bare minimum test. If Krumrie were 35 then maybe this would have some meaning. Is he gonna keep doing this as if it's impressive when he's 50? 60? Big deal. That's the problem with the Bills, they live by cute little stories and not big, bad, mean players.

Oh yeah, the line had a great year last year against the Ravens, Steelers, and Pats. Boy, I'm sure excited to see what a TE that's never played LT can do in the NFL.
Losman should have all day in the pocket with him over there.
Maybe you're right. How 'bout McFarland at LG too? And heck, let's give Gandy a shot somewhere as well. The Bears offense really tore up the NFL last season. If only we could get their production.
Yes, I do know what they say about opinions.

Uhhuh!
Right, and with Donahoe's propensity for drafting linemen, make sure you keep a fifth of good scotch handy for draft day!

Seems intriguing in the least, but can't see it happening. It would be a huge risk.
I don't know if there is anyway to verify this.
LMAO
"Next mentioned that as right now the Left Tackle would be Jason Peters who he described as a "Phenom", and if he could not do the job, Teague would move out to LT."
In other words, we don't have a freakin clue what we're doing!
How about:
LT: Edwards
LG: Bannan
C: Teague
RG: Anderson
RT: Williams
Maybe Williams and Teague can help out by playing D too.
Yeah, I'd be all tickled pink inside with Peters starting at LT. I think Donahoe has gotten to McNally. Has Peters ever even played LT? Ever?
The Bills are turning into a living joke.

Shelton's 29. Not exactly prime material. From what I've read he's nothing more than an average LT. At his age he'll be average for a season or two before hitting below average territory.
-
Yeah, I was counting on that. But still, our 7.5M is now only 5M or so until we release Prioleau which saves only just over a million. Henry, until he actually gets traded and we know what we're getting, is still 1.25 v. the cap. If we had gotten Shelton, we'd only have about 3M plus Prioleau.
The cap pic is not as rosy as it appeared to be.

From the article WGR article, I do agree with DB that we should have opened it up for competition instead of crowning JP king without so much as a fight. And why not? This team was on the verge of the playoffs, we should be thinking about the playoffs next year, not how long until JP develops and takes us there.
If JP is as good as everyone wants to believe, let him demonstrate it with a solid camp. If he struggles--which is more likely than not given the current status of our OL and the history of rookie QBs--we're looking at making the playoffs in 2006 or later.
Just my $0.02, though I'm sure my opinion is in the minority.
It WAS an open competition slanted heavily in Drew's favor. He BLEW IT for three straight seasons! How much more "open" do you want it to be for him?

the door! I walked in to the Bills Pro shop today. The 1/2 off marker was working on anything with the #11 Bledsoe on it. I like the step down jersey ($65 1/2 off $30) from the real game day jersey ($210 1/2 off $100 ??). T-shirts $6.00
Tons off stuff
I wonder if TB stuff will be 3/4 off with a Mobil Credit Card when he is gone !!!!!!!
Half off?
They're going to have to do a little better than that I would think. They should have a box like they do for rags at the local car parts store with all of the Bledsoe junk in there, 90% off.
Honestly, who wants a Bledsoe jersey or any other thing now.

Its no wonder we suck all the time. Why is it that fans constantly support players in their 30s.

He may not be the typical 45 year old, but he's still 45. He's definitely not as strong as a typical 27 year old NFL lineman either.
Good point on the Bills problem.
