Blind Melons? What happened to that Bills hangout.
Same bar but remodeled with pretty good grub. We were getting great crowds until the stuff hit the fan , and now were down to the regular, albeit, rowdy die hards.and
GO BILLS as our motto says "Win or loose, we're only 15 yeard from the beach"/quote]

About 1/2 way through the first quarter Andre Reed walked into The 710 Beach Club, home of The San Diego Bills Backers. He looked great had a few pops, and a beef on wick. Seemed very open and spent a great deal of time signing autographs, hats and yes even a vintage #83 REED jersey. It was a welcome escape from the horrible, again, ending that was about to unfold. However we will be back there next week.....
GO BILLS

This somehow is news???? who cares

The 710 Club in Pacific Beach, home to the SD Bills Backers was unreal also. We had about 75 people going crazy screaming "the Shout Song" If your ever out in beautiful San Diego come on down and join the fun. As our motto says "win or loose we're only 10 feet from the ocean"
GO BILLS

I'll be at The 710 Beach Club in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego together with the rest of the San Diego Bills Backers making a lot of noise, and having a graet time. Rumor has it we will have local (San Diego) TV stations covering us.
GO BILLS !!!!!

It's a tie between Sylvester Dierdorf and Paul McGuire.
I can't stand Dierdorf because it seems like every time he covers a Bills game, we're getting our asses handed to us, and he just never stops with the comments like "And right now the Bills can get absolutely nothing going and clearly are being outplayed and outcoached worse than any team has ever been beaten before in the National Football League."
I can't stand McGuire because what he sees and what actually happens are two totally different things. "Let me tell ya, on that end around you can see he was untouched. UNTOUCHED! Now watch on this replay, he turns the corner and you can see no one gets a hand on him...well, okay, there are two guys that just hit him, but you wanna talk about soft hands? He has the softest hands ever!"
Plus...HDTV is not kind to McGuire. He's better in a lower resolution.

Thank you for doing what you do. I have the utmost respect for you and the rest of the military. Stay safe and keep in touch.

AMEN why can't we enjoy a win when we get one. Yea the Texans are too good , but we could have folded up our tents and gone home. I like to think "that.....NOBODY.....CIRCLES THE WAGONS LIKE THE BUFFALO BILLS......."
Lets enjoy the win and move on

Thanks for the insight. What about the crap I hear about the weather affacting the reception. Is that true or just anti-dish propaganda?

Just got off the phone with my sister in law, They are in Kenmore. Buffalo and Ken-Ton schools have been closed already. About 4 inches so far, but heavy stuff, Power out all over Kenmore, roads closed. lots of trees downed by the heavy snow.
PS My nephew from St Joes is bummed because the Canisius/St Joes game is this weekend and the rally and parade of cars is cancelled, a must do senior event for any Marauder/Griffin senior.
For your info Canisius High School has the Crusaders, The college has the Griffins

I woke up from a nap a t 11:15PM to my wifes "ah zhit" as or 5 youngest maples still with leaves where bent to the ground due to heavy wet snow. There is only about 2 inches on the ground here in O.P.. As I was outside the sound of tree branches cracking and the power transformers across the street making voltage noises. It's only a matter of time that we will be include with the 100,000 other people without power here in WNY.

Watched the game with about 50 other Bills Backers at the 710 Beach Club, formerly Blind Melons, in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego; home of the San Diego Bills Backers We also had sound problems during the game. The owner of the bar said it was a problem with direct TV. It was anoying but watching us Squish The Fish was great.
-
I've been going to "The Shi-t Hole ", Blind Melons, for two years and its a great place to watch the game. We share the bar with a Bears Backers group. Come on down you'll have a fine time.

I got Marv's book and also Tim Russerts book, Big Russ, last Christmas. Being a CHS grad I had to read Tims book first...... a great read. Started Marv's book shortly after and could not put it down. It brought back soooooooo many memories. I don't think a lot of us, most certainly me , appreciated what we had at the time. Great years that will probably never be repeated.

Does anyone wonder why that self-rightous moron is on Sat nights when absolutly noone is watching.

Blind Melons, Pacific Beach, San Diego; right on the ocean, enjoying the first of many Bills victories this season
GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before I left Bflo,in 1998, I had 5THXIT with the Bills Helmet. I used to get lots of wondering looks. I'm currently living in San Diego and also am looking for something "Bills" to put on my plate.

North Buffalo, 54, Carlsbad, CA. about 30 miles North of San Diego

I agree.
flutie really made football fun again for a few years. How anyone can be so narrow minded as to wish him anything but good luck is way beyond me. I was out here in San Diego when he scored against the Bills in the closing moments, and although I didn't like it I was great to see a guy his age still giving 100%
-
Never watched it either...............nor the bachelor,or the bachelorette, or fear factor, or the Apprentice,or any one of those other lame "reality shows"
They just never appealed to me
-
Sorry Gang, its 65 and sunny in San Diego. The rains have finally left. These morons out here have no idea how to drive in bad weather; thats one thing I did learn in my years in Buffalo.
Go Bills!

Like Marv always said; He wanted players with character on his team, and this idiot sure doesn't have any
