Ale House did have a huge fire back in January, are reopened and doing fine
The East Village Tavern +Bowl is in The Gaslamp District located at 930 Market St, 92101. This is/was owned by a former East Aurora guy and I think they show the Bills games, but if your looking for "Bills Atmosphere", The PB AleHouse is the place to be

Do yourself a favor and hop a Uber or Lyft and head to the PB AleHouse in Pacific Beach. About a 10 to 15 minute ride. It's the home for the San Diego Bills Backers. Sahlens hot dogs , good wings, just off the beach and plenty of Bills fans. Google it and you shouldn't have any problems. Hope to see you Sunday

I have been reading TSW all week so I forecast grey skies, torrential downpours, tornados, and locusts this Sunday.

Although last weeks production sucked; they're stil have the same record as the previous six Super Bowl winners, (counting Pitt twice). My point is...............................................................................it's early. Let's see what happens this week. If they suck again this week, I'm becoming a Chargers fan, jk.

Live in the San Diego area; have been watching the games with our San Diego Bills Backers at the PB AleHouse in Pacific Beach,a stones throw from the ocean. Great venue and even greater clientele.

Born at Mercy Hospital, grew up on Woodside. Growing up being told that if I "didn't shape up", I would be going to Father Bakers. Surviving the Blizzard of 77'. Bills and Sabres, through and through. Chestnut Ridge in the winter, Crystle Beach in the summer, (The Comet). Going to the "Ballet" in Fort Erie. Growing up on Hot Wings, before the rest of the world knew what they were. Nick's at 03:00 in the morning for a garbage plate. Chippewa street when it was hookers, not "HIP". Going to Talty's, Annies, Griffin's Irish Pub, The Irish Center, Caz Park, Doc Sullivans, going to the first ward, Big Tree Inn, webers mustard, going to "the falls", being in the middle of the desert and being on guard duty at 03;00 in the morning, listening to AFN radio when the kick was wide right,,,,,,,,, locking and loading and swearing to God that I was going to shoot the first tent that cheer'd (luckily nobody did), snow mobiles, ice fishing, camping, getting my first deer in Cory Pennsylvania", parties with family and friends, and on, and on, and on,,, BUFFALO, not just a place to live, but a place to LIVE.
GREAT post and Thank You for your service

I also have a dream. That dream is the realization of all bills fans past and present. Eiither this season or next, the light finally goes on and stays on (per my dream). Nix isn't the best in the business but he's pretty effin good. He's had 1 draft being in complete charge and in my dream he continues on that path with many more great drafts and we re-ascend to where some of the most deserving fans on the planet have been wanting to return for so long. Those who still love the team will be rewarded with one of life's great lessons. With perseverance and dedication, the good guys will eventually win.
Nice: I agree, I think most of us share that

I had a nice Lee Evans White Throwback, I had "Evans" removed by my drycleaner, and figured it could double as an Andre Reed Jersey...
So what happens next?
I run into Andre Reed at the PB Ale House /San Diego Bills bar when Im wearing it during the Redskins game
and I had him sign it...Now it is REALLY an Andre Reed #83 jersey.
Andre is a Kool Muther FUKR!
Good to hear from a San Diego Bills Backer, hope you wear it for the Dec. 11th Chargers Beat-Down

This thread reminds me of those that wanted to Bills to make a play for Tom Brady after he won his first Super Bowl on the idea that the Patriots would go back to Bledsoe. Maybe history repeats itself and the Bills make a deal to get Kevin Kolb.

What's better 710 or gaslamp tavern? I heard both r bills friendly but which is better.
The 710 will be louder than the gaslamp, you'll hear "The Shout Song", and the beer prices are more user friendly. The only drawback is that The 710 is also a Bears bar, so it will be crowded. If your not a member of The San Diego Bills Backers, check out our website www.sdbbc.org and sign up, or, if you go down to The 710 look for the guy running up to the sound booth when we score and introduce youself. Hope to see you Sunday at The 710

Thanks for sharing your memories with us, PIA.
For those of us who weren't fortunate enough to know Mr. Peters, The Buffalo News put together a neat little video last fall with him, Larry Felser, and Milt Northrup reminiscing about their days covering the Bills:

Thanks to you Lori, for sharing that!

I've always thought the game should be played on Saturday night, never thinking of the ramifications to the host city....good point. My way of solving the problem was moving to San Diego. We gather around 2:30 and are home by 8:00. GO BILLS
