I find these signings to be pretty troubling. Doesn’t this mean that they also have to release someone? So a young man who’s devoted his life to playing football and gets his shot on an NFL roster is told he has to go home because the Bills have decided to give his spot to a novelty dude who’s never played the game? Sad.

Yea, a washed up 3rd string punter. Big whoop!

  2. I’m a big believer in that a true number one wide receiver should fit one of these two profiles…

    1) A legit deep threat (Hill, Lamb,  Wilson)
    2) A big target that battles for contested balls (Evans, Metcalf, Adams)

If you don’t fit one of those profiles, you can still be a very high level receiver, but you’re not a true number one. Stefon Diggs was not either of those things anymore. At one point in his prime, he was a deep threat. He is not that and has not been that for the last couple of seasons. He became a top-of-the-line possession receiver. Which is great! And those are certainly needed. But possession WR’s are not number one receivers in my opinion.

It was time for him to go for his actions off the field and his lack of on the field.

  3. Hollins is the 2024 version of when we signed Andre Holmes in 2028. A tall, lanky, special teams guy who is a former Raider that will catch about 15 passes for under 200 yards for the season. Nothing to write home (or should I say “Holmes”) about.

  4. Synopsis : “Josh Allen is one of the most talented, prolific, and high-profile players at the quarterback position, let alone in the NFL, yet for years the Super Bowl aspirations of the Buffalo Bills are dashed upon the rocks of Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs. The window is closing…”

  5. Stop watching / listening to sports talk shows. They are completely useless and void of any meaningful information. These pundits have zero consequences for what they say, so they’re only incentivized to say outlandish bull#### and pretend that they’re authoritative.

They can all kick rocks for all I care. I stopped watching /listening to that dreck 12 years ago or more, and my life is better for it. I recommend everyone do the same.

  6. McD speaks a good game. He says all the right things that a Coach is supposed to say. But if you’re always going to say “it starts with me” and supposedly take accountability for the misnomers and mistakes, if you really mean that then you have to make changes with how you operate. What changes has he made besides firing coaches?

We are still seeing the same soft coverage on short pass plays. We are still seeing four down lineman on obvious short run plays. We saw him neuter Josh. If it starts with you, you have to change your method of operation.

The 9/11 story people are making a hullabaloo about is the least concern I’d have for him as coach. How about be more concerned by a stat like this…

This season the Bills have lost 6 games by 6 points or less in the first 12 weeks of the season. In the history of the nfl only 20 other teams have matched that total. One of the most recent teams to do that?? The 2012 Carolina Panthers. Any idea who their D coordinator might have been that season??

Which proves he DOESNT CHANGE! You can’t consider yourself “accountable” if all you do is say “I take responsibility”or “it all starts with me”. You have to actually modify your behaviors and patterns and actually change your ways.

Important to remember that back in 2008 offensive averages weren’t nearly the same as they are today….largely due to the way the NFL has shaped the game through how they call things.  In 2008, 4,000 passing yards made you a top 5 QB yardage wise.  In 2022 you had to have 4,500 plus.  In 2008, 10 QBs finished with a rating above 90, vs 18 last year.  So if you’re doing the same as a guy 15 years ago, you’re actually doing a decent bit worse.

    Inflation, man!

  8. How do you keep a guy that loses every clutch momentum???

Before that 3rd and 4 play I kept yelling that the DB’s were backing off… WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU CALL A COVERAGE DROPPING OFF 7 to 8 YARDS WHEN ALL THEY NEED IS 4??????????

IM A DUMB ZILCH WHO PLAYS MADDEN AND EVEN I SAW THAT COMING.

How many more times do we have to see this happen??? McD is the problem.

our training staff sucks.  do they stretch anyone before games.  the amount of tendon and muscle injuries is unreal.

not to mention it was this “sports medicine” team that suggested the Friday travel day.

Where did you hear it was them that suggested the team leave that day??
