There are more than a fair share of projects on this list IMO.
Boston's Big Dig was a smaller project than Aaron Maybin.

Well considering every 'expert' out there agrees with the hall of fame QB...yeah I guess he should.
Oh. So I guess if the new GM made a statement that all the QBs on the roster suck and would be cut Monday morning, that would be a '+1'.

I realize the thread has long since stopped discussing the attempted 'human-initiated incident', but I'll add a footnote.
We flew to LAX from JFK without incident on Saturday. My brother in law's family flew here from London on a Virgin Atlantic flight with no entertainment system, and they told passengers it was because of the NWA flight. So that's either the most bizarre overrecation or the worse excuse for a lie I've ever heard.

The Chargers and Giants were working on a trade of picks before the draft even started, but couldn't hammer out the proper compensation coming to the Chargers. The Giants coveted Manning and the Chargers wanted Rivers the whole time. When time was running out at their pick in the first round the Giants told the Chargers to draft Manning while they finished the deal, which ended up being heavily in San Diego's favor (I believe they drafted Merriman with the pick they got from the Giants the following year).
Getting Rivers was not luck. They targeted him the whole time and everybody knew it. They just knew he was not worth the number one pick in the draft and were able to maximize that pick's value. That alone makes Nix smarter than anyone the Bill's have had since Butler.
Good summary. I didn't realize there were fans who failed to understand that trade. Maybe I should issue a memo.

Three reasons why an NFL team should remain in Buffalo
#1. Buffalo is one of the original football teams. It's history of 50 years reminds of us the early beginnings of our sport.
#2. Buffalo has some of the most loyal fans in the world. Games are constantly sold out.
#3. Without players on the Bills such as Marshawn Lynch, Donte Whitner, Ko Simpson, etc., you have increased job security overseeing/babysitting players in the league. Buffalo plays a large part in that job security!
Keep the Bills in Buffalo with a bailout.
I'm sure you can ask for government help. Every other company is!

Nice to see at least one person was waiting on pins and needles for the outcome of an election thousands of miles away from where most people on this board live. Apparently this person is under the delusion that Gov. of Washington is going to have a profound impact on all our lives. I guess those of us in Missouri will have to wait and see.

Personally, I'm having Vader call my parents the day after Thanksgiving; my sister's going to dial the 1-800 number to confirm it for me

I'm happy to say that my girlfriend's cousin and his baby are doing better now.
Christine's baby is born 3 days ago, i don't have many details about the surgery but both are doing well.
The only stressing fact is that doctors don't and can't know for the moment if the baby will have mental issues for his mother's heart attack.
At least they are both safe.
Thank you all for your prayers.
Good news, I'll keep them in my thoughts for a full recovery...
