The whole concept of wings is kind of funny to me. As much as Buffalonians might hate to admit it, there's nothing special about Buffalo wings anymore. Wings are the same across the country, at least 5 hours down south from Buffalo. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that they shouldn't have used boneless wings from Applebee's.

I still think Buffalo has it best. I have been to so many places in my travels where they try to “improve” on the buffalo wing with some fancy sauce. Then there are the places that use shelf stable/bottled imitations of buffalo wing sauce. It is fairly uncommon to find a place outside of WNY that just uses butter, Franks and a dash of vinegar.

I told all of you he was injury prone after we drafted him and everyone was a sensitive Sally about it. This is now his 4th injury to his throwing shoulder/arm in the last 4 years.

Amazing how many people in this thread are so interested in “proving” their draft day opinions right. Six games into his rookie season, with the worst talent to work with in the NFL...

    Quick, easy, delicious taco dip

    8 oz. cream cheese

    1 can hormel chili

    handful of shredded cheddar cheese

    diced jalapeños

This is so easy and goes over well at any party. Take the cream cheese in a pie tin and spread to cover the entire bottom and even on the side. Open the chili can and spread it on top of the cream cheese layer. Next, take some diced jalapeños and scatter them throughout the chili. I also use a little of the juice from the jalapeños depending on how spicy you want it. Cover the top with the shredded cheese and bake at 350 for 15-17 minutes.

This is whole thing can be done in 20 minutes start to finish and it is always a hit!!

This is even better if you use Skyline chili in place of Hormel.

Coons: Would one of you help me out here?

Klobuchar: I can’t, I actually have passed out from drinking.

Booker: I can’t, you know, that bit about me groping a chick.

Harris: I can’t, I blatantly lied about the judge and am still trying to recover.

    Blumenthal: Uh, Vietnam, nuff said.

Whitehouse: I got this, get ready, he’s going down! Judge Kavanaugh, your yearbook says FFFFFFourth of July...

  5. Kavanaugh’s confirmation was largely accomplished through Lindsey Graham and Susan Collins. Who would have thought these two would champion anything that came from Trump. Makes me believe that Kavanaugh is no where near the extremist that the Democrats have made him out to be. Collins’ speech yesterday was the most effective explanation of the reasoning behind a vote I have ever witnessed. Extremely impressive.

When was the last time you watched a coal miner do his job on tv or on his job site with him generating billions whil entertaining others?  Not a valid comparison.

If that’s what really bothers you, I hope you don’t shop at Amazon.com. CEO is the richest man in the world while workers fulfilling orders make $20Kish to work their tails off. Maybe this would be a better cause for you to take up.

I listened to the first 25 seconds, then was too offended to continue. Maybe I missed a good point. Did they NOT negotiate these CBA’s? They agreed to it, right? Why should NON-HOF players not get the same benefits? I admit this annoyed me to the point of being too lazy to spend much time on what sounds just silly. Maybe if someone can answer those questions I can get more deeply engaged.

I listened a little longer. It was all about the old timers not having good benefits. But of course, instead of fighting just for those players, they are trying to pad their own pockets as well.

The average career is 3.3 years.  You think the average NFL player is wealthy?

Why should all NFL players be wealthy? Most people have 45 year careers and struggle financially their whole life. Why do you value the work of a football player more than any other occupation?

I have a friend who played a few years in the league, never as a starter. Got cut and now he works a blue collar job. His years in the NFL were the best time of his life and by far the most profitable. Why does the NFL owe him anything else?

I can tell that you only looked at the names and didn't read the letter because as I posted much earlier in the thread, they are not making demands for just the names on the list.

I read the entire letter. The only people threatening to boycott are the names on the list, minus two who backed out. If other HOFers felt so inclined they could have signed their names as well.
