Here's an interesting question. Would you rather have Roethlisberger since 2004 and no Allen now or Allen now? Because if we had gotten Roethlisberger, we probably never would have gotten Allen.

Of course I’d take Roethlisberger - if it comes with Super Bowl wins and the Hall of Fame. Despite him being a piece of ***** human being. In fact, that’s the only reason I’d have second thoughts.

Donahoe's fault for not offering enough for a top 10 team to trade down.  If he had traded pick 13 & the picks he used to trade up for JP, someone would have traded a top 10 pick to the Bills.  On the point table pick 13 is 1150, pick 43 is 470, pick 144 is 34.  for the 2005 #1, pick 20 is worth 850 or using the philosophy that a pick a year away is worth a round less pick 52 is worth 380 points.  So Donahoe could have offered at least 2034 points with 4 picks & had Roethlisberger (who he wanted) instead of Lee Evans & JP Losman. Those 2034 points are worth more than picks 4 through 10.

Now let's compare what the Bills gave up to move from 12 to 7 for Josh which is a very similar move to what Donahoe couldn't do. The Bills traded picks 12 (1,200), 53 (370) and 56 (340) for a total of 1910 points to get picks 7 (1,500) and 255 (1).  The Bills traded 1,910 points for 1,501 points, an overpayment of 409 points which is the equivalent of and early 2nd rounder, picks 49 or 50.  If Donahoe had overpaid by 409 points he could have moved up to at most 7th, giving him 4 opportunities to make an offer that would be hard to refuse before Pittsburgh picked.

Don't blame Cowher for tanking, blame Donahoe for not realizing you have to overpay for a franchise QB.  Remember, Beane started out with the highest Bills pick at 21 (800 points) and managed to move it up to a 1500 point spot by overpaying to get Josh.  Beane moved mountains to get his man, Donahoe sat on his hands and then made it worse with the panic move to get JP Losman after losing out on Roethlisberger by 2 spots in the draft.

I blame a head coach for throwing an NFL first and foremost ON THE PLAYING FIRELD and we’ll ahead of a GM mistake in an office.

    Pros:

    Position of need

    High ceiling

    Cons:

Bit of a reach (consensus seems to be late 1st to late 2nd rounder)

Opting out of 2020 season. Will he be ready to make an impact in 2021? How is his work ethic?

Feels like we could've traded down 10-15 picks and still very likely been able to pick him. Maybe Beane was trying and couldn't find a trade partner?

Not even the slimmest of chance of trading down and still drafting Rousseau. He would have been taken in one of the next two picks.

  5. Everything was done very well by the team. Why everyone chose to stand the whole game is beyond me...

one drunk guy near us kept “dancing” down the open aisle in front to celebrate. Many times with mask down. He was warned but continued to do it. We we’re in top row in end zone so I think he wasn’t seen.

Only complaint... ***** beverage options. No locals. Only $15 cans of crap.

Lol. There is no chart, that's not how it works.

The chiefs play the lowest seed remaining.

You are correct - the NFL changed it this year - there is a re-seeding format. Which totally sucks!  However the poster brought up a great point... Ravens vs. Chiefs in 2nd round. Thats a good scenario to have.

Bottom line. Play to win every game. Set yourself up for two home playoff games. Save the laughing for post-game celebrations.

Ok,  so if I have things straight,  assuming Browns,  Colts,  Ravens all take care of business this weekend (they’re all heavy favorites),  beat the Fish and we play the Browns,  lose to Fish and we play the Colts?  If that’s the case,  not sure who id rather play. Colts have Rivers and very good D.  Browns have very good running game and decent D.

You have it backwards - beat Miami Bills play Colts.  Lose to Miami and play Browns.

  8. In addition to this, if the Steelers somehow win while sitting starters (we've seen that happen before!) and the Bills drop the game to Miami on Sunday - the Bills would play the Ravens in 1st round. Beane and McDermott have to know this...

Lmao. I don't even know what to say anymore.

Now we have to play starters vs Miami and risk the health of starters because of possible SECOND ROUND matchups.

    🤦‍♂️

You can laugh - but the only way to guarantee 2 home playoff games is to win this Sunday.  Sitting down in the last game rarely works... or perhaps you forgot last year?

  9. Ok. Here's the deal... if Bills lose to Miami on Sunday their likely opponent in 1st round is the Browns - if all the favored teams win (Titans, Colts, Ravens, Browns).  Pittsburgh plays Baltimore in the 1st round this scenario. So if Bills win they likely play Ravens in 2nd round, with the way things are headed with the Steelers.

If Bills beat Miami Sunday, they play Colts here in 1st round (with Rivers in cold weather). If they win the first game against Indy, they would play winner of Browns/Steelers in 2nd round and Chiefs would play winner of Ravens/Titans. How perfect would that be - avoiding Ravens & Titans?

This is a no brainer. They HAVE to beat Miami Sunday. And Im blown away that Pittsburg is sitting their QB with the scenario of playing the Ravens in the first round.

If the Steelers do somehow pull this out there is supposedly still a path for the Bills to the #1 seed. I couldnt find it any way I tried using the playoff machine so someone would have to shed some light on that for me. If Bills Chiefs and Steelers all end up 13-3 seems like Chiefs get the #1 seed no matter what.

Not true. 3 way ties gives it to Bills.

What a waste of taxpayers' money and of law enforcement resources for them to have done this sting operation in the first place--cameras set up in these massage parlors to catch these transactions!

Can you imagine how much time and money was spent on this nonsense? Detectives, cops, prosecutors...all wasting their time and our money while real crimes are happening.

    No one cares.

Kraft is a 79 year old widower.  Who gives a flying shi* if he pays a few bucks for some sex acts? Anyone?  He is 79; good to see he is still in the game. (Should he go to the local bar and try to pick up women there?)

Even if you hate Kraft and his team,  this news is good news, as maybe now they will end this nonsense and focus on real crimes that actually undermine society. And maybe they won't waste our money and resources on such BS again.

Are you ok with underage girls being trafficked for sex at these “parlors” then? Because that’s why they are being investigated. It’s sick and everyone should be fully behind the money spent on the investigations.
