Let’s be honest, nobody was thinking about helmet to helmet til the replay. Both players ducked for leverage and the defender won.
Nope. I screamed it on initial live viewing. Johnson was already engaged with another tackler - second Dolphins player drops the crown of helmet and dives into "defenseless" ball carrier. Its a text book penalty by definition.

The referees essentially took 7 points off the board there. Pretty confident the Bills could have scored from 4-5 feet out. It was a blatant head target.

I like the idea go having one receiver go to the other side of the field... much more likely to draw a PI call away from the "scrum"

Jacobs I agree is awesome. Barkley...not as much.
Anyway, this isn't really a depressed era for RTB pay. When were they making a ton more per year? 2 guys in the league are making an AAV of over 12.5 million: CMC (a unique player) and Kamara. The franchise tender for RB is about the same as TE. Would any team rather have a top 5 TE or top5 RB?
The problem is they are naive or not that bright. Le'veon bell turned down 70 million/5 years from the Steelers because he wanted 17 mil per year. Over the next 5 years before washing out, he made under 3o million and was in his last year taking only $180k to be on Tampa's roster. Likewise, Barkley turned down a deal that would make him 13 million a year---over a 2 million dollar difference in guaranteed money!!!
Simply, these guys are too stupid for agents to control.
who?
Cook led league in YPC. But not enough carries to be officially declared #1

I think Beane should call the raiders and ask them what they would want in compensation for a trade. I think Jacobs would make Allen’s life a lot easier, especially if the coaching staff is telling him to settle down on running the ball himself. Murray and Harris are nice but are not consistent starters. And I’m not a fan of Cook until he proves differently
Yeah - leading the league in yards per carry does warrant having to prove yourself.

Levi Wallce is buried behind Patrick Peterson and once projected starter Ahkello Witherspoon. Joey Porter, Jr. comes in with lots of fanfare and will be shoved down everyone's throats Tevon Diggs style, while fellow rookkie Cory Trice is also in Pittsburgh.
He is owed $5.5mm while a hit of only $1.5mm.
If he was cut should we consider bringing him back to Buffalo as a depth CB behind White, Elam, Jackson and Benford (who maybe moving to safety?).
He's NEVER coming back to Buffalo. The coaching staff was obviously angered by his play during 13 seconds. he seemed to defy exactly what he was instructed to do... they never wanted him back when he reached FA.

How old were you when the Bills poached Tasker off the waver wire?

I think the opposite.
We always have posters on here who think they know more than everyone, and are sure that this player or that player is going to be a miss - even though they know very little about that player.
Why not look at a signing like this in a positive way? I can pretty much guarantee that Beane and his braintrust have pored over film of this guy, done the pros & cons analysis, looked at the upside, and made a sound decision. Like all GM decisions in the NFL, some work out, and some don't.
But the negative comments on here are what I find hilarious. I don't know the guy - but this signing is the worst! I mean, huh?
Allen is the greatest example. THAT thread from draft day is actually fun to revisit. This isn't a big enough signing to warrant a "bust" label if Harty doesn't work out. But I think he'll excel w/ Allen - we needed speed, we needed separation, we needed good hands.
Exactly. As Marv once said "if you listen to the fans, you sit with the fans"

"Daquan Jones missed the Bengals game."
This says it all. The minute I heard he was scratched for injury while tailgating I knew they wouldnt stop the run and be guessing all day.

Von Miller is projected to be back by training camp/pre-season.

The two biggest bust (drafted high) QBs have had their best games against the Bills. Ryan Leaf and Zach Wilson.

That isn't accurate. Buffalo is expected to get 10-18".
In fact at game time, Buffalo may have more than OP since the snow is supposed to start over Metro Buffalo Friday night before dropping south a few hours prior to kickoff.
Huh? Accu weather has north Buffalo at 1 to 3 inches for all Saturday into Sunday AM

Agreed!
I swear I feel like so many people completely over look this home field cold "advantage" against opponents ALSO affects our team and players too. And our team doesn't play well in the cold either and isn't built for the cold. So why hurt us and what we do well to try and maybe impact the opponent some.
And I will say it right now...if it came down to who can run the ball better, I would trust the tandem of Wilson and Mostert more than I would Devin and Cook (who falls down if the wind blows). So lets not try and make this a must run to win game because we will be the ones probably impacted the most.
I am not worried about Allens ability to out duel over rated Tua. I am worried about our OL and RB's out rushing the Dolphins if neither team can throw.
Bills have 3rd best Rush defense. Everyone thinks otherwise. Top 3 in entire league.

Averages are not a basis. They were used different times in different situations/
Nonsense. A running back is judged by their yards per carry, catches (yards per catch), fumbles and blocking ability. The situation is meaningless unless its pre-season.

I think one of the things that makes Hines continue to feel intriguing is that Cook still really hasn't looked like a good ballcarrier yet.
He's a better passcatcher than Motor but unless he has a gaping hole even front of him, he cant get into the second level.
Hines is probably even a better ballcatcher than Cook and if he can run into the 4 and 6 hole he might be a better option than the rookie right now
Cook is averaging over 5.5 yards per carry. You’re obviously incorrect.

That whole team was ahead of its time. Before Ernie D got hurt they were showtime before the Lakers.
A couple years later, for 48 hours they had McAdoo, Moses Malone, Randy Smith and Adrian Dantley. If management had stayed out of their own way, an NBA championship could have been in the picture.
And Nate Archibald.

Calvin Austin
Not necessarily a ‘my guy’ but I wanted WR to be addressed by the end of Day 2, if not in the first round. I also have wanted to see substantially more speed added to the offense both of the past two off seasons.
Therefor, I guess that makes Calvin Austin a ‘my guy’?I think he’s overall too small and not long enough to really make any true impact, but he’s still on the board and he addresses what I’m hoping gets addressed so I’d like to throw a day 3 dart at him
Described as “Isaiah McKenzie type”. See also Marquez Stevenson. So THREE smaller (fast) WR on roster?

How obvious does it have to be for you people. Tyreek Hill. Twice a season. You need a fast CB. What’s the biggest face palm emoji available here?

If you draft a punter that stays with the team for 10-12 years - who cares if it's a 3rd rounder or 4th rounder? Who was the Bills' 4th round pick in 2013?

Xavier Worthy injured during 1st practice as a Chief
in The Stadium Wall

With the new kickoff rules and formations, the KO return is going to be who can run the fastest 15 yards straight ahead (or angle) to best available hole in the blocking. Worthy will certainly get there fast, but the kicking team better get an arm/hand on him. I bet the Bills use Isabella or some other super fast player in that role.
