  1. I'll tell you guys one thing, Parrish or Nelson are not even being considered for the #2 role because they would be useless out there, yes even the new TBD wonderboy Nelson. Both are slot guys even Nelson, who at 6'5 I know intriques people, but his strength is his ability to find holes in the zone and providing height in the middle of the field. The #2 is between Easley and Davis with Jones being the darkhorse.

  2. As far as I know the only issues Andrews ever had were the depression issues. If anyone else knows anything please bring it to light, because this just makes too much sense ( which in itself makes it a typical non-Buffalo Bills move). We like our guys, we think they can develope into other teams practice squad material for a year or two.... :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

  3. Andrews on top of his game is also a better player than Clabo as well. When in Philly, he was considered the best guard in the league, and a very good RT since. Don't believe me about the best guard in the league, go check out Haloti Ngata in his first preseason NFL game vs him. Many O-line and D-lone coaches thought that at the time.

  4. I will Big Cat. Be back soon :)

Actually, that one only traveled about 51 yards. Anyways, I was only adding the length of a TD pass on paper isn't the same as in the air. As for Fitz and Evans, I like both players, and wouldn't let Lee go for less than a 3rd and a 4th. Fitz, while upgradable, will do for now and definitely is better than reaching for someone in the draft.

  5. I'd like Shawn Andrews for RT so we can groom Hairston slowly for the swing tackle role. I think he has a good 5 years left and he played good last year. Supposedly he is past his depression problems as well. Don't know why he isn't getting any looks....anyone know something about that?

  6. From what I remember reading he had unbelievable straight-line speed at that size, but his hips were even more stiff than Roy Williams(the Oklahoma RW). You can't blast a player away with a big hit if you can't get into position to do so.......that said, I have not seen him perform at the NFL level so I don't have an opinion from my own eyes, just what I've read.

  7. One of their fans said...

That gives us 5 players in our secondary who were 1st round draft picks...Hall, Clements, Jones, Nelson, and Whitner.

Along with two 1st round LBs (Lawson and Rivers), and two 2nd round LBs (Maualuga and Howard).

Our back seven is pretty talented at least on paper - 9 players in the back 7 were 1st or 2nd rounders.

Hey, that's pretty mush some of the same logic thrown around here.....just sayin. But does this really have to turn into a 15 page post just because Donte Whitner is in it? Come on people.

  8. Although Lawson isn't the LB you hope to pair with someone on the other side to make a QB sandwich, he is way better in coverage and vs the run than anyone we have. He just isn't an elite pass rusher. Other than that though, I think he'd be a very good pickup. He would lineup behind Dareus most of the time anyways, who should give RT's a problem, even as a rookie.

  9. Well actually, now that you mention TE's I'm very pleased we now have a LB who actually can do a pretty good job covering them. I did not have any confidence whatsoever in any LB on the roster covering a TE before the Burnett signing. So yeah, go ahead and put me down for a little optimism too.
