  1. The files you upload are the same as the files on your PC. It's just a giant hard drive in the sky. :)

If you're only looking for a service to use as a backup, then I'd skip the "cloud drives" and use a good backup service. I highly recommend CrashPlan.com -- been using them since Mozy raised their prices early this year and it's great. If you want to stream your music from the cloud, then CrashPlan isn't your solution. Amazon Cloud Drive seems to work well; I have it on my Motorola Xoom and used to listen to music on it until I decided to just put a microSD card in instead. It doesn't hold all of my music, but it's a good sample.

I still prefer keeping all of my data on my local network so that I'm not dependent on my ISP and I don't have to worry about another company looking at my data. That said, if you're just looking to use it for music, that's not as big a deal.

Fez, thanks for the heads up on Mozy! I am due to renew later this month and saw that my cost would double. I'll be checking out CrashPlan.com and be changing over soon.

  2. crayonz is a very funny poster. All of his stuff is tongue in cheek and just a few steps below hogboy (the greatest troll ever) in terms of quality. His best work involves inter-divisional wins. My daughter once called me about this lol.

That said, he is a BIG TIME Losman fan. He is one of a few who cannot get over JP. I only hope that we face him JP this season. He is an awful qb. Simply awful and even way worse that Trent.

Ah yes, the typical Bill says so and so can't get "over" JP and then goes on to trash JP since he has yet to get "over" JP. Bill, JP definitely was not a great QB for the Bills. Some of that was on him and some on the clowns running the show. However, he will always be better than your Trent. You know why? JP at least had heart and courage. You never saw JP afraid to throw the ball. You never saw JP run out of bounds on 4th down to end the game instead of trying to make a play. Who knows, maybe one day you will move on.

  3. Plain and simple, we are a bigger and better football team than we were before Nix got here. In year 2 of the rebuild we can actually compete with any team in this league. So suck on it nancies and actually enjoy this winning record

Let's face it, some people here aren't happy unless they are miserable.

  4. ...Nix does not have the 'eye' for talent and has proven that....why do we have him? He's cheap, old school, and will ask daddy's permission before making any type of move. Be weary of the future.

Nix does not have an eye for talent?!? Right, John Butler and A.J Smith brought him to San Diego with them after they left the Bills because he has no eye for talent. Nor did he play a role in adding talent to that roster  Let's see his first year back with the Bills, who did they draft that has contributed: Wood, Byrd, and Levtrie. And his last two drafts as GM, he has been adding young players who are playing now and learning the ropes of playing in the NFL. Will every move be perfect? No. Go look around and you will see other GMs have missed on players too.

Regarding asking Daddy's permission, so you are going to spend millions of dollars of the owner's money without consulting him? It's called professionalism.

Try something novel next time like doing some research.

...I just find it ironic that many of the major players on the roster aren't Nix draft picks or UFA signings: Fitz, FJ, Johnson, Levitre, Wood, and Byrd. Dareus has been very good and Barnett a good signing, but giving guaranteed money to a guy clearly washed up and not offered much if anything by 31 other teams should say something about Nix.

Nix was on board with the draft that snagged Levitre, Wood, and Byrd. The Merriman signing was a gamble. If it paid off, he's a genius. If not, he's an idiot.

  5. 1) One thing I gotta say about Stevie Johnson. The kid is almost always open. I'm serious. We have all seen better receivers, but SJ is getting better week to week and it's impossible not to like this kid.

    2) My prayers go out to A. Williams. Get well young man.

    3) Chandler didn't put up big numbers. It looked to me as if he wasn't on the field so much. But, that kid gives it his all on every play, and he sure seems to be a clutch player.

    4) Kudos to McKelvin. Yeah, I said that.

    5) Fred Jackson is sick. Seriously, he gets better week to week and it's not like he is young. He was switching gears on a couple of those runs and is faster that I thought. I do hope that they give him a new contract. It's a safe bet that he won't take the money and quit ala Dockery. The man is a gentleman.

    6) Did you people see Bellichick? He isn't ageing well at all. It's as if all the cheating is catching up with him. I know I'm wrong to take it this seriously, but he makes me sick. I can't even look at that scumbag.

    7) On the beautiful run by Jackson with approx. 10:28 left in the 3rd quarter, Andy Levitre took out 2 defenders, and he did so in about 2 seconds or less. He can play on my team any day of the week.

    8) Spiller hesitated on a punt return where it looked to me that he could have gained yards. He also made a fair catch on the 5. He needs to step up and contribute.

    9) How often do I complain about the refs? Well, on the first 2 NE drives, the Bills defenders were held on every play. Especially Kelsay, who was actually tackled. I was sure that they were handing NE the game; it was that bad.

    10) See what I mean wrt Fitz? He gets his body into position to make throws. He has to because he doesn't have a cannon, but it doesn't matter. He gets the ball in there and he's actually a thrilling player to watch.

    11) Gailey is an offensive genius. It baffles me that he wasn't a long time NFL head coach. It's even a little freaky, but so is this entire team. It's as if I still, at 3-0, don't know exactly how to rate them. The pass rush is a big concern, but there is something really good about this football team that it's hard to put into words. At the risk of sounding cliche, this team plays with heart. Heart and determination that I'm not sure if I've ever seen before from any Buffalo Bills football team, and that's quite the compliment.

    12) I left out a bunch of things. I know this but its as if I'm spellbound, still.

    13) GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Good post Bill!
