CB Sean Smith: Was about to ask the same thing, not doubting you but I haven't seen this reported anywhere.

Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora
LaRon Landry very likely to sign with the Colts tonight.

Can confirm the Buffalo Bills will be bringing Matt Scott/QB/Arizona in for a visit...

Heard a rumor that they are interested in Paul Kruger, not sure if there's any teeth to it or if this site is reputable.

Indeed the description should have been worded a bit differently. Thanks for the update on talks, really appreciate your work John.

Also this: Sources tell us Eastern Michigan offensive line coach Kurt Anderson has accepted a position on the Buffalo Bills staff.

Freddie was at the introduction of Marrone.

As expected, the Bills have hired Mike Pettine as defensive coordinator. Pettine had been with Jets previous four seasons.
-
According to Mort Pettine is the new DC.
-
Pettine: “I thought it would be good to be exposed to a different style of coaching, a different system,” he told the Burlington County Times. “It’s like continuing education, the more things you can expose yourself too, it’s beneficial." And the fact that the Jets defense is a combination of 3 - 4, 4 - 6, and a mix of base, over, and under.

Definitely worth a read for those who are debating his ability to scheme according to personnel: http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2013/01/08/report-pettine-confirms-sitdown-with-marrone/

FWIW, I know this connection has been mentioned here. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/01/07/marrone-could-be-trying-to-lure-carmichael-to-buffalo/

I guess this is the interesting piece of Brown's take: "NFL.com is reporting that the Bills were scheduled to meet with Kelly Saturday. Initial reports indicated the meeting was to take place Friday". Wonder if their interview process included Lovie or possibly Marrone today?
-
FWIW from Chris Brown:
According to multiple reports the Cleveland Browns are trying to make Oregon coach Chip Kelly’s first NFL head coaching interview his last.
Multiple reports indicate that the Browns got first crack at interviewing Chip Kelly out in Arizona Friday, and were convincing enough to have the Oregon coach leaning their way.
No word at this point as to whether the Bills or the Eagles, also interested in meeting with Kelly, will get the opportunity to interview the Ducks coach. NFL.com is reporting that the Bills were scheduled to meet with Kelly Saturday. Initial reports indicated the meeting was to take place Friday.

Jeff Dickerson @ESPNChiBears
#Bills have conducted all their interviews in Arizona which is where Buffalo will meet with Lovie Smith very soon.

Good piece of video, breaks down his scheme.

ChrisBrownBills @MatthewSahr VY is not returning. Already deemed not a fit. Lots of pre-snap recognition in this offense. Not VY's strength #Bills

Watching Chan's press conference from yesterday, I thought he seemed a bit miffed with the kicking game (comes around the 6:40 mark).

Revisionist historian? Is this a case of posters providing sweeping opinions so they can come back and beat their chest if their prediction comes to fruition? I definitely don't understand why anyone would anoint the Bill's draft or a specific pick as a disaster prior to rookies setting foot on the field in minicamp, training camp, or preseason. It's May and already the situation is dire, ha ha...
