    (OT) Tips Needed to Break-In New Baseball Mit

    Okay fellow twobilldrive'ers...

     

    My son has a new baseball mit and it is on the stiff side. I need to know some tips/advice for breaking in a new mit.

     

    What is good?

     

    What is bad?

     

    As of right now he cannot use it. I heard that the methods of putting in the oven are not good. Of course the first can of oil I bought from Sports Authority say to do this, but since I've been told not to do that.

     

    Any experts out there?

     

    Any and all advice would be much appreciated.

    I'm not 100% sure, but i think whatever the comment was, it was edited out.

     

    The question she asked was "But do you have to listen to them?" in a joking way...  that couldn't have been it.

     

    I watch the Aprrentice alot, and there is a TON of editing (and poor editing at that) that goes on in the board room scenes.

    A TON OF EDITING!!! My wife and I laugh on how they'll pipe in the Donald making a comment in the boradroom. The audio is definitely different and they also do room shots when this part is being played.

     

    I like the program but the editing sucks!

     

    Plus i agree about last night. What was the big deal about her comment. I thought it was pretty funny and Trump liked it. Until stupid Carolynn opened her mouth.

     

    Carolynn is very jealous of some of these young girls.

    We're planning our next Disneyworld trip for this Fall. We've stayed at the Polynesian (twice) and the Contemporary once. They are the "deluxe" hotels and cost "big bucks".

     

    I'd like to get some feedback here on where people have stayed and what they recommend.

     

    I was thinking of trying The Carribean Beach Resort or maybe even The Swan or Dolphin.

    I pay weekly - it's about £5 - so $12 or so...

    I go to Weight Watchers here in NJ. I too pay $12 a week.....

     

    They say it's the best plan. I learned a lot about the type of food I should be eating.

     

    Weekends are tough for me though.

    (OT) Movie Review - Racing Stripes

    My wife and me saw "Racing Stripes" this weekend. It's about an orphan Zebra that ended up with a former thoroughbred horse trainer and his daughter, with the zebra aspiring to be a race horse. Not animated - voices by Dustin Hoffman, Freddie Munoz, David Spade, Whoopie Goldberg etc.

     

    An enjoyable movie for kids and adults - nice story, funny lines (especially the two computer-generated horse flies), good direction and scenery. PG rated.

    This was an awesome flick. Samual Jackson was very good in this role. He didn't have a lot of the overacting in my opinion like some of his other movies. Excellent story and very well put together movie. I would highly recommend this movie. Anyone else see it? Opinions?

    Its too damn cold in new jersey. :)  I am going to a job fair today.

     

    Wondering if I should have a cover letter too. But, not sure because of the different companies that will be there.

    I was home sick from work the past 2 days, and I went to bed early last night...I do not remember all the details, but i do remember some of my dream/nightmare....my high school football field was changed to the Ralph...and the Bills were beating the Jets 61-17...and i do remember watching Drew throw a pass...so far its a nice dream...I was walking behind the end zone...and I meet a current NFL player...and I shook his hand and called him by his first name....Tom (we all know what QB this is)....thats when the dream changed to a nightmare!!!  I shook that guys hand!!  Oh the horror!!!    :)

     

    What are some of the weirdest dreams/nightmares you can recall???

    I was there with my wife and 2 kids. TSO put on a great show! We all enjoyed it. We also made to see Rockefeller Center and the tree. It was pretty cold walking the streets of NY yesterday. And the stores, like Toys R us and Macy's were PACKED. I'd hate to work there this time of year. Just crazy!!!
