  1. I already have 2 tickets for the home opener and am looking for 2 more.

I would like to get 2 next to me or in front or back of me.

Is there a way to see on Bills Ticket Exchange or stub hub actual seat numbers?

I can see section and row but would like to see seat numbers so I can get them by me.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you.

  2. I am a Verizon Wireless customer and am over due for a phone upgrade.

I am looking at the Droid 2 and the Droid X.

I have seen both and just can't decide on which one to get.

Part of me wants the Droid X but I am concerned that it is too big.

I am just looking for some input from those of you who have these phones.

And if there is another model that is better then please share!

    Thanks.

  3. What do all you guys think of the QVC deal for today. Seems like a good one with all the stuff they throw in. Is it good or should I be concerned about QVC??

It is time for a new digital camera and I am looking for a nice camera for a decent price.

Anyone a so called "expert" on digital cameras?

My wife saw that QVC has a special deal for today and was wondering if that is a good camera or is there someting better out there!

    Link to QVC deal: http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/...SV-_-HP-_-IMAGE

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

  5. Thanks for the replies!

I did run the free Malwarebytes program a few times. I had gotten it from Pcsafety.us.

I also just tried your steps but cannot get to the malwarebytes link you included. The scan from http://live.sunbeltsoftware.com ran and scaned. Some threats were founs but not cleaned.

I had bought this PC from QVC a few years back and have a reload disk but that would be a last resort as i would have to backup all my stuff (which I should be doing anyways :-) )

I am running XP Media Center Edition SP3.

I would love to put Vista on but would have to find a copy to install.

Are there any other programs besides the malwarebytes and Super Antispyware programs I have already run?

    THANKS!!

Your computer is compromised, most likely by a rogue antivirus program, that prevents you from going to many security-related websites.

I have to run now, to fix a computer, but will be back later, if you still have this issue.

Do NOT use the McAfee program.

If you can get there from your computer, or another one, download the rescue program from here, and follow the directions:

    http://live.sunbeltsoftware.com/

Hopefully, that clears up things enough to download and run Malwarebytes Antimalware (free version):

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

(It is a free trial, but remains a perfectly good anti-malware scanner after it expires, it just loses its active monitoring component)

Install Avira Antivir (free version), as soon as you are able to get to the site, and install it:

  6. My PC started to freeze up after booting up. I realized that I had an expired Trend Micro (which I believe had antivirus as well) application. So it is safe to assume my system has been at risk for some time now.

I was trying to download MacAfee through Comcast (this is free as a Comcast customer) but keep getting the following messages:

When clicking on the "download" option using Internet Explorer 7, I get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" and gives the following likely causes:

    Most likely causes:

You are not connected to the Internet.

    The website is encountering problems.

There might be a typing error in the address.

When clicking on the "download" option using Firefix I get "Failed to Connect" and "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at download.mcafee.com."

Obviously I have network connectivity but am infected with something. I have a laptop that does not have the same problem so it is with this server.

I was on with MacAfee support and they were having me run "Malwarebytes" and "Super Antispyware". These were both run and removed a lot of threats but I still have the same issue.

Another weird thing I found is that when I run Windows Update I am sent to Google.com.

So my question is this: I really dont want to reload the OS but I will as a last resort.

Are there any other programs I can download that could resolve this?

Im thinking there is something that is not being detected and would like to fix this.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

    THANKS!

  7. My daughter is 15 and is in need of a new cell phone. We use Verizon Wireless and she is eligible for an upgrade.

Of course she wants all the expensive phones but I am not sure I should get her an expensive one.

She is liking the Glyde and the Voyager and I can get them (through the Verizon site) for $200 as upgrades.

Should I just get her one of those or is there a good phone for less that I can get.

    What does your teen have??

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

  8. Thanks for all the replies!

This neighbor of ours also has a pretty attractive wife who is always on the phone. She even walks around outside on it.

It would be cool to tap into those conversations to hear what the hell she talks about. LOL

My wife and I bought a new cordless phone last year and use it all the time. We have our suspsicions that are neighbor might somehow be listening to our calls. Is this possible? Can a personal scanner be configured for frequencies used by a cordless phones?

We have heard him say things to us about us that we know we never told him.

Any experts out there who know this technolgy?

  10. And how about Kellie Pickler. Defintely had a boob job and has put on some weight.

I was surprsied on how big her hips and ass are!

Alaina Alexander, Leslie Hunt, Nicholas Pedro and A.J. Tabaldo all voted off tonight. I only tune in when they start reading off who's safe and who's going home. I hate all this other stuff they do.
  11. My little girl and first child at 5 months is starting home daycare for the first time next Monday with a good provider. Both my wife and I are an emotional mess over it because she is our little peanut and she will be the youngest one there....any advice to help with the snot and tears already taking its toll? Thanks :worthy::lol:

Both my kids went through the Daycare system. We too were an emotional mess but came to find that they were having fun. True the fun is limited for a 5 month old but the really do have fun and interacting with the other kids. My kids cried and we were told that the crying stopped by the time we pulled away. Still a rough situation but Im sure your child will be fine.

My kids are now 13 and 10 and they have turned out fine. High school this year for the 13 year old but it seems like yesterday that she was in daycare.

    Best of luck!

  12. I got a new scanner from my parents for Christmas. It is a Radio ShackPro-97. My wife and I were trying to read the manual last night but were having a hard time understanding its operation.

Is there anyone out there in TBD land that owns one of these or knows how to program them?

It came pre-programed with the basics but I wanted to add a few more local frequencies.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

  13. I come from NJ and leave after the game when they start at 1PM because of school and work the next day. Im usually home by midnight.

I can't do that for a late game. It would be too late!

Unless we stayed and played hookie the next day.

Do you travel to games?  Or try to bring kids to what are now late games before a school day?
