  1. I would be disappointed if we let him walk under any circumstance aside from him pricing himself well above what we could afford.

Letting a guy go who was top 6 in the entire league for scrimmage yds, in his 2nd year, in 13 starts isn't just replaceable by anybody.

Hopefully he continues to grow as a player and we retain him for the foreseeable future in tandem with Davis or another complimentary back.

  2. Get rid of illegal formations on offense

-5 down lineman and lineup as you please behind the LOS

Get rid of ineligible man downfield and intentional grounding within the pocket or hashmarks

Inside the RZ everyone is automatically an eligible receiver

Pass interference results in gain or loss of 10yds and replay of the down

    No penalties on TD celebrations

Wow!! 95 % polled expect Allen’s stats to be every bit as good or better. In what world does a qb who loses both of his starting wrs have better stats.  I hope all of you are right.  I love Kincaid and shakir.  Not sure about the rest of them.

Diggs disappeared after the first 1/3 of the season...

Gabe was pretty much non existent for the entire season and has never topped 50 catches in a season...

If you simply get some form of consistent production to the tune of 50yds a game; that replaces Gabe. I wholeheartedly believe Samuel will surpass that.

Diggs stats are replaced by a combination of the other wide outs and Kincaid (who I think will top 1000 or at minimum 900+)

If you keep the context of how those starting WRs performed then the task of replacing them doesn't seem as daunting.

    At least not to me

  4. I was torn between better and best of career but went with the latter.

I think his rushing stats will take a dip but I think he will be highly efficient passing and challenge career highs in yds/%/tds

The WR core as it stands I think is arguably the most versatile group he'll play with.

He operates best when spreading targets out and he becomes exponentially more dangerous when you don't expect the heroics as opposed to relying on them.

    I'll say: 4500yds passing, 39tds, 11int, 67comp%, 450yds rushing, 8tds

  5. Considering we spent the final 2/3 of last season with a bona-fide #1 WR who could barely crack 30-50yds but commanded double digit targets and a #2 who routinely didn't even register a catch or target; I expect the variety in the passing game mixed with a legit rushing attack to be beneficial to the offense.

Considering we were down to 4th stringers and pulling people off the couch to come play defense during our playoff stint and without our All Pro LB for a majority of the season; I expect a  top 10 defense again and hope for improved durability.

I'm not down on the team at all and I look forward to the youth infusion that is taking place on both sides.

I expect another division title and legit playoff run as well.

  6. I would encourage those who are gonna complain about every single signing at WR this year because their favorite wasn't picked (even though a majority were off by 2-4 rounds in their expert grading analysis), to start scouting the 2025 WR class and FA pool.

That will hopefully ease your angst and keep you entertained until the following events this year:

    1. We allow our players a chance to do anything on the field to formulate any semblance of a valid opinion

    2. Progress up to camp cuts/injuries

    3. Get a jump on players that may be available at the trade deadline

For our advanced scouts you can start pounding the table for your sure fire picks that very well may be off by 2-4 rounds again.

Great job taking a 5th rd guy in the 3rd round.

    Uff ....

At this juncture Franklin and a slew of other WR are 4th rd guys at best...so if they picked one of them could we bemoan the fact that they took a guy in the 3rd that could've easily been had in the 4th?

  8. WR, S, TE, Edge, OL, RB

    Possibly in that order too

I could see us using a 5th to move up in the 4th or 2 of them to try and get an additional 4th

    After a 2nd WR, S and a TE I think we're pretty much set

Hoping for 2 out of the following: Walker/Franklin/Baker/Oladapo/Mustapha/Hicks

    Pretty much this.

Will he make big plays to help us win playoff games. Will he be clutch?  Or will he get stuck on the line and drop passes?   Crucial pieces to the puzzle

If you aren't solely reliant on one rookie to bail your offense out of every dire situation then I think you better your chances of allowing him to prove himself in those type of scenarios.

We just traded a #1 who literally didn't do this for us so I'll allow the rook the opportunity to show what he could be.

that would be amazing.  a handful of jags you could get any year while leaving a generational player without an actual difference maker.  brilliant strategy, i love it.

a paradigm shaking strategy, draft based on game day meals, love it

Are you saying you know the exact makeup of a difference maker? If so please tell me the organization you scout for and examples of the players you've scouted and presented to the organization.

He’s a better pick the AD who spells trouble with a cap T.  I still think we could have worked a deal here, dropped a tad and still got him.

At this point I think we could mess around and get a combo of 2 safeties and an edge in our next 3 picks.

Try to move up in the 4th for another WR or DT and then do whatever the board dictates as far as depth pieces

So at this point with only #60, and next years pick, can we assume a player trade is unlikely?

Getting Aiyuk would be my preference if possible but idk what the capital could be.

The way the draft is playing out, I could see us maybe making a move for Sutton at best. Let the disgruntled guys finish out their respective terms.

Dream scenario is that Minny somehow screws things up with Jettas and he's in play when we have $$$ to make an offer and plenty of cost controlled contracts

Didn't take long - I love the pick.

But, it feels like we still need a speedster.  Get someone who can stretch the field.

Walker in the 3rd or 4th and I'm over the moon. Franklin is still out there as I type this as well. It's very doable with also adding size.

He can do everything - except get open.
He is Gabe Davis with better hands and worse speed.  Hopefully, he can really learn to run routes to get open.

The big concern I have is the league is going speed, speed, speed and Bills grabbed basically a 3rd TE.  He is a very dominant blocker, though!

Considering that the consensus thought of Kincaid was that he was basically a WR more than a TE, I don't see the downfall of adding a player with the physical traits and ability of a Coleman to the outside; which should theoretically make Kincaid even more of a mismatch on defense from his position

    So……

The expectation and direct comparisons shouldn't be based on  emotion and attachment to your personal attachment to a player you wanted.

I'm not trying to be sarcastic. This is my sentiment to all the detractors and downers.

I personally wanted AD but I'm not devaluing the pick because of the name.

There are plenty of traits to justify the selection.

Think about how many times the Bills receivers didn't come up with contested catches.  Coleman should fix that.

If he simply brings that element to the team on a consistent basis, I think his floor is what we hoped/expected Gabe to provide without the disappearing acts.

We literally had Gabe go games without as much of a target and get participation awards in conjunction with our #1 getting 10+ targets to the tune of >50yds and coming off the field every other play.

I'm excited and I look forward to the next complimentary piece!

What about this upcoming season though? We are severely lacking playmakers.

I don't see it that way...

I believe we just added a potential playmaker due to his contested catch ability alone.

We still can add another element to the group with another selection in this draft as well.

I'm high on Samuel in this offense along with progression from Kincaid,Shakir and even Cook in the passing game.

Josh operates best with being able to spread the ball around and not having to pepper a specific guy who couldn't crack 30-50yds for more than half a season.

I'm very optimistic that opinions will change on this pick very quickly. This is coming from someone who wanted AD arguably for the same reasons.
