‘didn't say he wasn't good.....said he isn't very smart’. This was what you wrote. You might want to look up the definition of assumptions.

I think a guy that has been a successful qb in the NFL for several years isn’t dumb regardless of whatever test he took before coming to the league.

Didn’t realized we’re arguing. lol. But it’s interesting that you think some anonymous poster’s opinion that doesn’t aligned with yours equates to an argument. You have a great day as well.

I agree assumptions are dangerous and there are lots of definitions of intelligence. But my gosh 13 is not good...even if we account for bias in these type tests...yikes 🥺

  2. Hilarious. Let's get revenge on the team that's never won a championship (since the merger), nor really been more successful that us (Ravens) for the past decade. All while KC just grins sheepishly in the background.

How about you knock off Sideshow Bob in KC first?

  3. You could tell he had the Bills game marked on his calendar. That wasn't the only play, you could tell it was personal for him. I understand, it's hard to get cut from a team after everything he did, but I think he crossed the line.

For 6 minutes you're on your own. For 6 minutes you can't rely on anyone else but yourself. For each 2 minute period you have to be able to balance every ounce of strength you have with every ounce of patience you have. You must learn to master both anticipation and chaos. You learn the value of 3 seconds or just one misstep.

No sport teaches more than wrestling.

Hard to compare sport to sport, but I've been an amateur boxer for 10 years and have been coaching the past two. Interesting to hear the parallels, I honestly thought the "deep water" reference was primarily a boxing reference (we say you 'take you opponent out to deep water and drown them' to mean increase your punch rate and cardio until your opponent can no longer adequately defend themselves).

Sounds like wrestling is similar to boxing, in that it teaches you to adapt and think on your feet when things go awry.

    I'm not remotely titillated.

I'm just disgusted by the relentless crybaby bull####.

I get it, I think blaming the refs is low hanging fruit...but I think Bills the fans deserve a 48-hour grace period given how much this one stings.

Personally I don't think blown calls cost us the game, but I don't understand the 4th down spot. The reception I kinda get as the ball did not move, but I really hate how the linesman (for the 4th down spot) at the top just caved (given he likely had the clearer point of view).

Josh has said he dreams of retiring a bill...

He's not a liar... In fact all of the good will he has built in Buffalo would be gone overnight

We have hospital wings named after people in his family... Because of all the money he donated

    He's the king of Buffalo

He literally ruins his legacy if he leaves Buffalo and he knows that... He'll never be able to come back as player of the game.. he'll never be on the wall

Josh knows his career is going to be defined by Buffalo... He's not losing 8 years of building himself up just to destroy the city

Women and winning...are a powerful incentive.

  7. Everyone is only thinking terms of age. While Josh has a great attitude, I gotta think another year or two of this and the attraction of LA (vis-à-vis) his fiancé will start to weigh in. My prediction, if Josh hits 30 and loses two more times to KC, he's going to start thinking about his legacy. In that scenario he could move to LA to be with his fiance/wife, and also move to the NFC with maybe an easier path to the SB. By then, having lost to KC 6 times in the playoffs, who could blame him...

  8. I told my 25 year old son to save himself while he could. He's only been a fan for about ten years and he still has a chance a normal life. I'm 40 years in as a fan...and a lost cause.

Prior to last night he kept telling me I was so pessimistic (anticipating bad things before they happened on the field). After last night, he came over and was like "I can't take this SH** anymore, I've been watching them do this for 5 years!". I was like...five...whole years...really? My head was spinning with Wide right, music city miracle, Houston Wildcard, 13 seconds, KC...save yourself while you can my son...there is only pain to be had as a Bills fan.

  9. Why the heck would they open that can of worms, when they control to issue/narrative in private boardrooms. They have nothing to gain and little incentive. They are more profitable than ever and they can tweak rules at the competition committee in private in a way that benefits the NFLPA and their bottom line the most.

The only thing I think they'll want to adjust are video replays that have bad optics and incite their fan base. They are not including us in that discussion, knowledge is power and corporate America likes a good ignorant (but committed) fan base.

The NFL has one goal- make as much money as possible. KC can provide more revenue.
Kansas City is the golden child. Rock star Mahomes is all over commercial ads, Taylor and Travis. 3-peat. Great storylines.
The NFL wants the Chiefs again.
I have little doubt it won’t happen.
And now we’ve got the flag-happiest NFL officiating crew overseeing this contest.
Unless the Bills pull out all the stops and play nearly error-free ball, I don’t see them advancing this year. Not because they’re not good enough, but because the NFL wants to control the narrative that will yield maximum $$$$$.

It's almost like the NFL is an entertainment company rather than a sports league, lol. Guess which team is getting the kick to the head this weekend?image.png.a5880bcc09820e2452989f56c26f97f0.png

I love what Hollins has done for the Bills. I did think maybe he needed to sit for a play when he was getting hyped on the field. I was worried a dumb penalty would pop up because he was all juiced.

I was so worried about this too! They've really chilled with the unsportsmanlike penalties they were letting fly a few years ago. It doesn't hurt that its now the playoffs, we all saw his step over against Denver, thought he could of got one on some of his catches as well...

The bills heiarchy used to be:

    Josh > Beane > McDermott

    But I'm now at :

    Josh > McDermott > Beane

The talent on this team is lacking compared to other playoff teams (only 2 pro bowlers) but McDermott is getting the most out of them.

I disagree vehemently. Beane has done a masterful job. Switching from Morse to McGovern was brilliant. Transitioning centers can be a huge destabilizer and Beane had the foresight to bring in a guard the year before anticipating this legacy move.

All this to say, the Bills O line is premium. Every time I hear the Bills roster is "lacking", I realize how much of a bias exists is assessing rosters. People focus so much  on skill positions, I'd say overall this is one of the best retooling years I've ever seen. Hell, we were supposed to lose the division to the Jets!

    Beane deserves his due!
