I am a huge Star Wars fan.

I hated EP: 7,8,9. They had some good moments but they were trash imho. In my head (and that's all that matters to me) is that 7,8,and 9 are a "what if" story and not what really happened.

The Solo film was ok. I didnt dislike anything, it just wasnt something I needed to see made.

Obi Wan was ok too, but it was kinda boring and it wasn't as enjoyable as I had hoped.

I did like the young actress who played Leia. I thought the scene of the bad guys trying to chase her in the woods was lame (but that is NOT her fault).

Andor was very boring, it got better, but man I was board.

Rogue One was amazing. I will say though the reason I love it so much is because of Red Leader, Gold Leader, Tarkin, etc. (All of the original characters)

I love Mando, Boba, and Ashoka.

I will NEVER re watch acolyte

Agree with everything except Boba, man that was bad. His time with the Sand People was cool, but everything else was a dumpster fire, especially the teen age Vespa gang. God awful.

  2. I've done smoker, grill, oven...all have turned out well. However a few years ago I came across a recipe for doing them in an Instapot/pressure cooker and have been doing them that way since. When they come out of the pressure cooker I sauce 'em up and throw them on the grill for just a few minutes to give them some char and bake in the sauce. Delicious. Just fast and easy, still captures a ton of flavor, and way less hassle, which is good for an old guy like me.

McDermott needs to be shown the door. He fails at game management and he is even worse at team building, starting with his firsrt draft. You remember, right? The one in which he traded away the Mahomes pick to KC, was undercompensated, and then drafted a cornerback instead. Yeah, that one.

He sold Pegula a bill of goods with his co-opted term "process" and Pegula ate it up and gave him WAY too much power.. What are we now? A floundering team with talent, getting spanked by inferior teams. Ya think perhaps the head coach might be a little bit to blame? Please.

Btw, you seem to paint Bills Fans who are sick of McDermott's stale act as irrational. I disagree. Long time Bills fans are well able to spot disaster when we see it. Lord knows we have seen enough of it.

How you can defend McDermott is really beyond my comprehension but of course, the above is jmo.

We've seen this story before in Wade Phillips. Great defensive coordinator, good guy, but mediocre head coach. I like McDermott, seems like a solid guy. I disagree that he sold Pegula a bill of goods, he definitely helped turned the Bills around with his emphasis on culture and process. We were a dumpster fire before he got here. Perhaps you're right that Pegula/Beane gave him too much power, but his main problem is he has failed to evolve and hasn't grown past his serious limitations has head coach, such as decision making and clock management. Pegula and Beane have hopefully told him he has the rest of the season to prove he should keep his job (at least for another year).

  4. Hey Buffalo gets a little love in the movie, instant classic! Fun fact, Costner was supposed to be the GM of the Bills but production costs were cheaper in Cleveland so they changed it.

Replacing a top notch ST player for a player who "can do the job" is a preposterous trade off, IMO. Especially when you are dealing with back of the roster offensive or defensive players.  Those players very rarely get an opportunity to play offense or defense, so their contribution to those units is minimal.  OTOH, a great ST player makes a big impact several times in virtually every game.  A great ST unit needs players who are great at the job,

So, I’m making a list for those who need tickets for the home opener and will be attending the TBD tailgate. I’m waiting to hear back from some about attending. If you need tickets, put your name on a list and I’ll see what I have and what I can get my hands on.

Can you put my name on this list?

Yeah, that is really true, and another good part of his plan. He uses all available options equally, not afraid to make the big move, but also doesn't gamble with the cap. He's been terrific.

Yeah, it has to be soon. The longer they wait the higher it will be, although I imagine they have approached him already. He is likely holding out for a little more.

Whatever he's asking, he's worth more

  8. You kids get off my lawn!!! And stop making your superhero movies!!!

I judge every movie individually. If it's done well and has a good story, why worry about anything else.

It's like saying, why make another horror movie, there are tons of horror movies already. Or way make another RomCom, there are a ton of RomCom movies already. You get the idea.

Make it good, make as many as you want.
