  1. Agreed. In this game, the Dolphins were very successful in the first half with that misdirection toss gimmick. Second half, scoreless!

I think that defensive adjustment is the big takeaway of the game. (honorable mention to the punt return TD) 😀

Expect a tough game.  This would be the Bills' best win of the season (which is different from most dominant / impressive).  We've only beaten one good team on the road this season, KC, and the Chiefs are .500 at home this season (beating the Bengals today got them to .500).  Miami, on the other hand, is 7-1 at home this season.

Add in the stakes -- it could be 2 seed or out of the playoffs -- and that we're playing to win the division against a hated division rival, this would be our best win.

We've come a long way but this is everything here.

At least we will know before kickoff whether it’s an elimination game or just a matter of seed (#2 or 6 or 7)

  3. Admittedly inexpert / slightly drunk take:

Bills FEEL like a winner team in a PS game. Detroit’s vibe is all like, we need this win in order to believe in ourselves.

Bills are: let’s work on the run game a bit in the first half and try some stuff out and evaluate our roster. Then, oh look we have a chance to win it. This is a great situational exercise to see what we can do… oops we won the thing hahaha.

This team is strong! Score means nothing, but the feeling is that things are moving in the right direction and guys are on board.

  4. Just my take, but the significant difference between Josh and Tyrod becomes clear in the 4th quarter when you need a drive to win or tie.  I liked Tyrod very much as a reliable, protect-the-ball type of game mgmt. QB, but I think we all knew that the 2 minute drill was going to end in frustration every time.

Josh has shown that he can lead that winning drive.  Even when everyone knows he has to throw it, he can still make it happen.  He tends to be good in the clutch and is the better passer when you need it.

....quite a testament from the lad.....sure he screwed up in college and never stuck with NFL tryouts....so he goes north to atone, continually works at his craft and now has the opportunity of a lifetime......sure as hell sounds like he realizes that...good luck big fella.....

    "Hell and hot water"  ?

I am excited for him.  Redzone threat that has been missing.
