Bills lost to the Jets (20th in scoring, 8th in point allowed) with Josh Allen.   Vikings are 8th in scoring and 12 in points allowed.

Vikings have also had a cupcake schedule, outside of the Eagles in week 2.

W1 vs Packers who allow 20.9 ppg (15th)

W2 vs Eagles who allow 16.9 ppg (4th)

W3 vs Lions who allow 29.3 ppg (32nd)

W4 vs Saints who allow 25.2 ppg (29th)

W5 vs Bears who allow 24 ppg (21st)

W6 vs Dolphins who allow 24.9 ppg (26th)

W8 vs Cardinals who allow 26.8 ppg (31st)

W9 vs Commanders who allow 21.3 ppg (16th)

They have faced one top ten defense and lost 24-7. Now they face the Bills, who even with all the injuries only allow 14.8 ppg, which is first in the NFL. If you are going to throw statistics around you should probably dig into the strength of schedule. It's kind of important.

    It's not just Josh Allen.

It's also Jordan Poyer, Tremaine Edmunds, Greg Rousseau and Kaiir Elam that aren't expected to play.  We aren't sure if they Tre White is able to come back yet, or what condition he will be in.  Not to mention a half dozen other guys who are pretty banged up like Matt Milano, Dane Jackson, etc.  The Vikings aren't a pushover in the slightest.

The Bills have strong depth, and have been dealing with injuries all season long.  At some point though, I'm afraid this is going to start overwhelming us and become a 2021 Baltimore Ravens situation.  That team was 6-2 at one point (like us) and in control of the #1 seed in the AFC.  They were 8-3 going into December, and then dropped their last six games to miss the playoffs.

I understand. I was speaking about those worried about Keenum, I thought I made that clear. Yes, the injury bug has tested the entire team this year. I am confident in this group though. Getting Milano back should help in the run game this week. Also, as I prefaced, I believe the Bills have to take advantage of MIN interior O-Line. That means Oliver, Settle, Jones and Phillips need to have their best games of the year this Sunday. They have to disrupt plays in the back field and also prevent MIN guards from getting to the second level.

  3. Bills we be fine with Keenum this week. It's funny that a lot of people are that concerned with him getting the start, based on what they have seen of him in preseason and mop up duty. He was barely getting any reps, let alone any with the No. 1 offense. Any of you who played any sport at a high level, knows how difficult it is to come into a game cold and with very little reps. Alas, its 2022, logic need not apply.

Anyways, rest up JA17. I expect the Bills to rally to a win. Need a big game from the D-Line this week. MIN is suspect on the interior O-Line.

  4. As many have said, the Bills had a three score lead and the cheese kept running the ball. The only complaint I guess I have is the one drive in the 4th where Jones/Dillon ran for like 60+ yards in like three plays. The drive ended in a FG because of the PI on Tonyan. If teams are going to keep running it, down by 17 in the 4th quarter, I dont mind staying in the nickel base defense. Let them milk clock and kick FG's.

I get we have to find things to complain about, even with a win.

I'd rather complain about Josh throwing two picks inside the Pack's 50. That took points off the board and ultimately kept GB in the game.

I forgot to add while it’s too early to evaluate Cook, the Chiefs absolutely nailed their 7th round pick with Isaih Pachecho RB Rutgers. When Cook does get more chances he needs to start having an impact.

Agreed 100%. I'd love to see Cook get 7-10 opportunities per game. With his ability in open space its just a matter of time before he breaks one.
