NOT Judging you BUT be carful...Lots of people thought the same thing till they were served with a lawsuit...BTW I would find almost ANYTHING other than Kazaa
Exactly, it really has NOTHING to do with what he does with it after he downloads it. In that regard he is doing nothing illegal, it is obtaining it in the first place that is illegal.
Well I never judged her parenting skills...not my place...I was curious. I know I am far from a perfect parent so who am I to judge...I just don't have to deal with something like this yet my kids are only 4 and 1...That being said I don't agree with it but I'm sure she could find things she doesn't agree with with the way I raise my kids...
One more thing...link...
Until the industry provides a reasonable online alternative, consumers will continue feeling all too justified choosing the easy, illegal option.
Easiest way to find out...Call your states attorney general give them your name and address tell them what your son is doing and ask them if it's legal...Better yet go to Best Buy walk out with a DVD and tell them it's ok you're just merchandise sharing ...
My wife and I haven't talked about it but I do think when she's old enough we will try and steer her away from committing crimes but who knows...We may try and be the crazy type of parents that sets limits.
I agree but right now what her son is doing is not legal. I agree with this law if you can buy a movie then put it on your hard drive let your friends "share" your hard drive 100's of people get a movie that one person paid for.
After reading the whole thread I don't understand the debate. What your son does is not legal, period. You may not think it's a big deal, to each his own I guess.
That is true...Where in our constitution is the right for everyone to have health care...Or the part about the government providing retirement for the elderly or Welfare?
IMO our founding fathers didn't want religion removed from society like many libs are trying to do.
Maybe it could also have to do with people living beyond their means...Everyone wants everything now...I wonder how many people that file for bankruptcy have cable, cell phones, internet access, DVD players...you know the essentials…
What loser would work for WalMart...Do they think they could work their way up to management are they trying to EARN a living, idiots. Don't they know the govt will pay them NOT to work.
