Just wrote it once. How the heck did that repeat so many times? Must’ve pressed “submit reply” too hard.

Did Josh call that shotgun formation?

wherever came from was dumb call on 3rd in that situation because basically sets it up if that play doesn’t go in end zone it is FG call on 4th.

Im fine with FG on 4th because even if ravens tie it Bills had 1:33 to score and Win-

Was the best and most important call of his career.

Everybody loves this unrelenting aggression on 4th down and McD shows a ton of it, arguably the second most after Dan Campbell. There’s also the common sense inclination that you let your best player win the game.

But the strategy of this game comes down to probability even when it’s boring.  Make your opponent be perfect.  You go up by 8 points, make them score the TD AND the 2 point conversion AND stop your final drive afterward.  Worst case scenario you take it to OT and accept your 50/50 odds there.

It’s like making a big fold at a poker tournament with your two pair on a board with straights and flushes possible.  Not fun, but right.

He made that decision with an entire city, many of whom hate him, watching over his shoulder.  Well done, coach.

The FG call was the right call. Have to take the FG there. It was one of McDermott saving graces in an otherwise terribly called game. The 3rd down call directly before the FG was a horrible one. Don’t have Josh in shotgun in that situation and just stack the line to move the ball forward on that play to either score TD or see how much ground you get for the 4th down call-

  3. Biggest weakness on Buffalo Bills is the head coach Sean McDermott by a good margin. That game against KC was in Bills control and McDermott went away from the game plan as usual that was working then decided to take idiotic risks such as the fake punt on their own territory which can be argued was moot because of the replay fumble but changed the landscape of field position and flow of the game after that.

Bad game planning piss poor play calling and abysmal time management has been a staple of this team in the mcdermott era.

The rosters being same and simply switch Andy Reid for Sean McDermott and Bills are playing in AFC Championship far more frequently. Now gonna throw out there would “win” SuperBowl because we just don’t know how Josh Allen performs on that stage-

  4. Thing is that although this a trick or hike move and not a slide that with all the rules protecting QB that it may make the defender hesitate thinking on the off chance that it is a slide attempt. We saw this sone exceptionally well with Steve Young decades ago.

When running with ball over line of scrimmage then AB should just be treated as a RB-

  5. Just because not getting sack doesn’t mean Von isn’t bringing pressure on the QB, which he is. Beating his blocker and getting in the backfield when he’s in the game. Bad injury Von Miller and just getting his grove back. Brings leadership to that DLine as well.

Dont worry about Von because he’s getting more and more comfortable out there and will be a bigger impact every week-

I used to assume LA, but the way Stafford is playing I wouldn't be so sure. That being said, Allen Robinson has looked terrible and Stafford has to be looking at Higbee and Cupp way more than he should need to be. Maybe OBJ sees himself as the missing piece? New Orleans is not worth investigating if he wants to win, TB has the emotionally effected Brady and the Giants......what?!!

Why wouldn't NY Giants be an option? They are 3-1 and seem to be a franchise that is finally moving forward. Seems that they're missing a decent QB and I'd expect that to be addressed either in draft or signing when season ends.

And that change in QB is going to be....???

If he actually cared about a huge market, he'd simply stay in LA.

That QB will without a doubt be an upgrade over Daniel Jones.

I'd think because he wants to test the waters and see how much teams are willing to offer.

If NY Giants aren't in consideration it would make no sense to go and workout for them.

The Giants lead the league in rushing and are 31st in the league in passing.  I would have no idea why he would ever want to go back to the Giants.

Because its a huge market and there's going to be a change at QB after this season-

Complete chokers across the board, with no clue how to play when under pressure. Offense was putrid and the play calling little better. Favourites for the Superbowl? Only if the defense is fully fit because the Offense, even with the so called predicted MVP, is not good enough.

ETA 15 minutes later - Won't delete the original post because I have to own it. But now I've calmed down slightly... still annoying. And I think I'll still have doubts about us being able to able to cope with the pressure of a one score game at the death until we win one of them.

Seems that you're just passionate about the team and needed to vent with your original post. Understandable.

I'm enjoying the season one game at a time. Been exciting for this first part and lets see how we do against Pittsburgh Steelers.

I think our O will start firing on all thrusters soon enough. I've been impressed at the mindset on D and bringing Von Miller over here I think has really amped up their mindset so lets look at that positive-

    The Giants? No way.

Def could see Tampa or LA… but man, he’s the one missing piece for this offense assuming he’s healthy IMO.

Icing on the cake for this O. Would love to see him here if he's healthy.

The reason I bring up NY Giants is because read that some of the players there are petitioning for his return and Odell is definitely a player that Daboll loves. Imagine what Dabble could do with him.

  11. Wouldn't mind seeing Odell Beckham Jr. on Buffalo. Great route runner. Big play maker. Don't think he'll be ready to play till December. There a bigger chance in my opinion that is either resigned by Rams, heads to Tampa or goes back to NY Giants before he comes over here.

Still can't throw a tight spiral. How he has 2 rings is amazing!

Has two Rings and two SB MVP because the guy was an incredible clutch QB. Those imbeciles running NY Giants decided to fire his OC, his HC and bring in that moron from Green Bay Packers that changed his entire mechanics and ruined him. That organisation doesn't deserve to have Brian Daboll as HC to fix their team.

The Giants seem fairly high on Daniel Jones progressing.  Trubisky probably wanted a situation where there would be more of a real competition for a starting job instead of having to take a back seat yet again.  I could be wrong - just my opinion.

Something I just don't understand. Since Bills are on tomorrow night, decided to watch Giants today and once again, it's apparent that Daniel Jones is "unaware" and has a "weak" arm. Although not as necessary as Buffalo, the wind and weather in MetLife stadium calls for a QB with a strong arm. The decision making on Daniel Jone sport is terrible as well, hasn't improved since Duke. Lucky for them that interception was dropped or they would've lost. The guy is a weak link on that offence. Seems as if Daboll has that team disciplined and playing as a team but hard to buy that he won't try and get rid of Daniel Jones for an upgrade. Not surprised NY Giants tried hard to sign Mitch Trubisky.

  14. Guys lets try and not start threads like this. Remember about 32 years ago when someone made a joke about Jim Kelly and Bruce Smith being able to beat up Chuck Norris?

Chuck was in California, found out about the joke and ax kicked the wind so hard that it caused such a gust of wind that made its way all the way to Tampa where that gust of wind shifted Scott Norwood's field goal wide right.

    Did not know that.

His foundation is Tang Soo Do (a kind of Korean Shotokan). He began to train TSD while stationed in Korea w the USAF.

Chuck Norris first started in Judo while in South Korea but had a minor injury that sidelined him so he started studying Tang-Soo-Do (Way Of The China Hand).

In 1966 Chuck Norris formed American Tang-Soo-Do which is a combination of Moo Duck Kwan style of Tang-Soo-Do as well as Judo and Shotokan karate, which is where the Shotokan influence comes from. It has evolved since then and incorporates other styles.

The current system Chuck Norris practices now is called "Chuck Kuk Do" which has a tournament in Nevada every year.

These are Chuck Norris personal codes that has developed as part of his Chuck Kuk Do system:

I will develop myself to the maximum of my potential in all ways

I will forget the mistakes of the past and press on to greater achievements

I will continually work at developing love, happiness and loyalty in my family

I will look for the good in all people and make them feel worthwhile

If I have nothing good to say about a person, I will say nothing

I will always be as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own

I will maintain an attitude of open-mindedness

I will maintain respect for those in authority and demonstrate this respect at all times

I will always remain loyal to my God, my country, family and my friends

I will remain highly goal-oriented throughout my life because that positive attitude helps my family, my country and myself

When Chuck Norris went to study BJJ with Gracies there is a misconception that he went there as a "challenge" or some other such nonsense. Chuck Norris conducted himself as he would in any Dojo or in the Korean "DoJan" and that was with humility and respect. Think he visited the Gracies in 1988 and was so impressed that he invited them to come teach his students in America.

It's a long, long, long, long season.  I'm sure any team that you surmise "threatens" the Bills you will be banging a drum for.

It's up to the Bills to win their games.  What happens with other teams will happen.

Bills are 1-0. That's all. Bills just need to worry about making it 2-0.

Don't need to worry about other teams. Don't need to listen to the oddsmakers. Don't need to count before hatched. Just the next game. One game at a time. That's all Buffalo Bills need to worry about.
