A second round pick that gets cut after 3 years is really good?

    Im doubtful.

Anyone that gets cut from the Rams should be taken with a grain of salt. They're in cap hell and in way over their heads from a personnel perspective.

If Brian Hartline can be pulled away from Ohio State he would be a huge get.  The Bills are going to have to get creative on this one unless they just hire from within.

A couple names to look out for:

    Thad Lewis

    Mickey Joseph

Scott Turner- Ever present Carolina connection here.

    Klint Kubiak

    Cortez Hankton

    is it....that Thad Lewis?

  3. Gardner-Johnson and David Long are both DOGS. Would add a bit of an edge to our D and both probably wouldn't cost a ton. I love both of those guys as potential fits if Poyer/Edmunds aren't retained.

Chark is a stud as well but might get too much in a thin WR market.

Who's going to dominate the conference?  All of them, two or three at a time.  None of them will be on a team that is able to hold it together for a decade.  The salary cap, the drafting rules, and the scheduling rules all act to prevent dynasties.  It will be a wonderful, exciting, disappointing time for fans of most of the AFC teams.

I suspect the team that will dominate the conference from 2023-2032 more than anyone else is the Jets, and they don't even have their QB yet.  But they have a very strong defense, and a great RB coming back from injury next year.

yeah cause nothing scares me more for 9-10 straight years than a RB!!

Bar Bill for wings in East Aurora for sure.  NYBP in Lockport on Transit Rd near Tonawanda Creek is awesome for a brewery.  Hamburg Brewing Company is great too. Big Ditch Brewery downtown.  Pearl Street Bar and Grille downtown.  Tons more options around tho now for breweries. There are lots of great restaurants, what types of food do you like?

We will eat anything but would prefer the unhealthy variety since we don't get up there much these days! We want the full Buffalo experience.

  6. Hi all,

As a distraction from the impending Allen news I wanted to ask a question - I'm gonna be in Buffalo this weekend for the Sabres and Bills games and it's been a while since I've been back. Where are the absolute best places to eat? We'll do wings one night but wanted to see if there are any can't miss breweries or food places we should be checking out.

    Go Bills!

Never heard back from the guy. We’re in Ko Olina. Kind of on the fence for going up up to Mililani for Taps & Apps or Staxx (a sports bar we drove past today over in Waianae, directly across from the beach (seems like a W no matter what)… We did call Taps & Apps (can we agree to call this T&A?) and the bartender made it sound like there are a few regulars that follow certain teams, Bills being one… but doesn’t seem like the full on backer-bar experience. We head up to North Shore on Wednesday for a week so… AFC championship game maybe!?
Guve a shout back if you figure out a spot, but regardless LFG Buffalo!!

We are likely going to end up at either TA or The Shack (which is pretty close to TA in the event TA doesn’t work out) cause that works with our timing and north shore location. No pressure to come. Regardless, GO BILLS!!!

We are heading to Oahu starting Friday and have been trying to figure out the same thing. The places listed on the Backers Bar site don’t have any references to Bills Games or game watch stuff. I sent a note to the dude listed as the chapter contact about Taps and Apps (which is only about 20-minutes from where we’re staying), have not heard back. Keeping an eye on this thread tho, Go Bills!

Did you ever hear anything back? We’re going to be up near the North Shore tomorrow so have now pivoted to finding something up there, but if Taps and Apps is going to have it on then we will be there cause it’ll only be about 20 min from where we’re at

  9. When you think about how the way to beat Mahomes especially is to pressure with the front four, I think Jerry Hughes is the big x factor in this game. He brought some juice last week and I expect him to leave it all on the line this week as well. Orlando Brown has been inconsistent this year, and their RT Andrew Wylie is likely their weak spot. Our DEs need to show up and I expect Hughes will be the most critical part in that.
