Sorry man - disagree with you too. Everyone's been trying to key in our passing game all year and few have slowed it down, much less stopped it. There's little reason to go away from our obvious strength, especially with the way that rules are these days.
Let next year work itself out. I'm concentrating on winning on Sunday. And the best way to do that is let Josh sling the rock all over the frigging field
Balance is critical to a sustained success. If all a team does is pass, DC's will find ways to slow you down. A DC only having to worry about the passing game makes their job so much easier. I think people forget that having a one dimensional passing offense puts your QB in a position to absorb more hits. Defenses pin their ears back when they know it's pass first and ball security is more at risk in a pass heavy offense. Maybe time has passed me by, but look around the league, where you'll see maybe all successful offenses have a functional if not strong running game.

Ole attention seeking Skip Bayless tweeted he’d still take Baker over Josh Allen. He’s trying to still the troll crown from his Fox cohort.
He picked Baltimore, Cleveland, Rams and TB. The guy is too fake.

Except that it's not the team's call. The team doctor makes a recommendation and then the player is looked at by the independent neurological consultant.
I agree but I believe the wheels get greased in this situation.

I was very impressed with the game-plan, execution and high energy style of play! Everything just seemed to work in perfect unison for the greater part of the game. I thought guys were trying to rip and strip the Raven runners and receivers a lot more than I remember from previous games. Hughes with the sacks and consistent pressure, and Johnson with another huge pick six that proved to be the play of the game IMO. I agree with others who say it was Edmunds best game of his very young career, as he seemed to have a presence and impact on many plays tonight.
I was 27 last time Buffalo made it to the AFC Championship Game and it has never felt better than right now. The 4 Super Bowl runs had their own incredible moments, but I feel the roster we now have and will continue to build on, will keep Buffalo in contention for a very large window. Allen is only 24 and seemingly ready to win a SB this season.

I was hoping to see more attention to signing DL? Need to get better on the defensive front. Does Star come back?

You are far from alone. My anxiety starts Wednesdays and doesn’t end until the game is over. Many times my happiness is directly tied to the success of the team. I wish it wasn’t and that I could just be a supporter, but I am a rabid fanatic and have been since 1987.
The Bills are not a team, they are a lifestyle and it’s not always healthy.100% this!!

Felt pretty lukewarm about the Beasley signing when it went down, but he bet on himself that he would shine in an offense that let his skills do the talking and he's been 1000% right
He's not the strongest, or the tallest, or the biggest guy on the field but he's going to get open and catch the ball when it matters most.
Beasley is like the Buffalo version of Wes Welker IMO

I've always said Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback of all time
Josh Allen is Just as talented. Stats aren't the only story
Wait 15 years, and people will be saying the same about Josh Allen
Rodgers is top 5 for me, but only one championship and that is his only trip to the SB. I know it takes a lot more than a QB to reach that level of success, but I think he's come up short in some big games. His numbers are incredible but in his 13th year as a starting QB, to be considered the best ever, I need more than one ring.

I agree! I love all the different angles!

Similar to last week, Baltimore loves using their TE's. We are going to have to have a much better game plan than last week, but Jackson is nowhere near as accomplished as Rivers at working to his TE's. We had good success stopping Jacobs and Henry this season, but Indy got us for over 150 last week between Taylor and Hines. We should commit to the run completely and make them beat us with their weaker passing game. Obviously if we can stay competitive against their run I think we will be victorious.

Good Lord I hope not.
Absolutely hate the red uniform's.
I kind of like the all red, but probably not in the playoffs.

This shouldnt be allowed until a teams football season is over IMO. Since it is... get the interviews done and get your butt back to work Daboll. Last weeks game plan was a mess and so was the play calling. Do better this week.
I couldn't agree more!!! What is the rush? It just takes away from the job you currently hold (which happens to be extremely important to your current team's success). This should be easy for the NFL to fix unless there is some benefit the NFL gains from having teams interview during the post-season?

I don’t remember that about the Raiders game (I know it was cold but don’t remember snow), but I do remember Kelly shredding the Dolphins in the snow in the divisional game.
I searched for pictures from the game and my memory must be fading with age. You were right, it looked very cold and the best I could find were piles of snow pushed against the stands. I never realized that game and probably many games, can be seen in entirety on YouTube!!

People - snow IS NOT detrimental to a passing game unless it’s heavy like the 2017 Indy game. Think of all the Jim Kelly playoff games. Footing is not nearly the issue for the WR who knows where he’s going as it is to the DB who’s reacting to the route
I remember the 1991 AFC Championship against the Raiders in some pretty rough snowy weather. I remember Kelly having a strong day through the air if I'm recalling correctly. Pretty sure that the receivers have a strong advantage on a slick field because they have the advantage of knowing which direction they are going, in contrast to the defenders trying to cover.

Edmunds is 23. Still so young and I love his drive and commitment. I think he will continue to grow into an outstanding defensive force. He had a shoulder injury the first half of the season that affected his play and I can't imagine it being easy to drive into blockers and ball carriers with a painful shoulder. People give up on guys way too soon IMO. He's got all the size and tools to be a long term special player for us!

Thank you for identifying this. I have read (this morning) Stills being called "trash" and an "idiot". I thoroughly enjoy Two Bills Drive and its football discourse. I do not understand, and am offended by, the willingness of some to ignorantly (no real knowledge of whom they speak) use extremely negative descriptions. Just my two cents.
It's reflective of our society today, unfortunately.

Great to sign Stills to bolster the receiving group. I put my money on Beasley being ready to go for 1st playoff game with how much of a diehard gamer he is. I don't understand why people are still saying Brown is a health question mark when he's been cleared to play. He was on the COVID close contact list against the Pats if I'm not mistaken.

The running game has to be there vs KC this week.

We only managed 10 points offensively last week, largely due in part to our 90% pass to run play calling. I have a hard time believing we can succeed that way against KC especially with Mahomes likely playing. It seems like people think we had offensive success last week.
