Why do people seem to hate Morse? He is a very very good center. I think he is an elite pass protector, a solid run blocker and is a great leader and communicator at a position where that is critical. I get that he might be a tad bit overpaid but they could easily just restructure his deal like they did with Star.
Personally I'm worried he will get another concussion and 1. he will suffer long term effects and 2. the OL will be caught off guard and won't be able to gel. I love Morse don't get me wrong but it's a massive risk

I really think they like Feliciano at guard. If Boettger continues to grow and Ford coming back....maybe Feliciano is our center next year?
I think Brown for sure back....Morse I'm 50/50 on.
I would be A-OK with getting rid of Morse if it weren't for the problem that Ford currently sucks

Raiders signed Daryl Worley off of our practice squad about an hour ago... didn’t see it posted anywhere.

The season is over

Despite what we have seen I think the Bills, unfortunately, still have a national reputation as a fraud team. Beating the Steelers should fix that

The most ridiculous thing I've ever heard about Mahomes is that after a practice last year (the year after he won MVP) he said "Huh. I can read defenses now!"

Mayfield is more of a game manager right now. Not exactly what I would have hoped for from the #1 pick 3 years in if I was a Browns fan.
Mayfield has 0 300 yard games this year and in 6 of the 11 games he doesn't even have 200 yards passing.
Basically at this point he is a more turnover prone slightly better all around QB than Tyrod.
I agree Mayfield hasn't been a world-beater this year but I thought we were past 300 yard games lol

The playoffs are a crapshoot. A successful season is (a deserved) 12-4 or better. We're on pace for that so far. Ideally, once you're in the playoffs, you win a few games, but if the Colts or something just happen to play out of their minds in the WC round that's not apocalyptic.

That's right...isn't that the game he came back in the 2nd half and went off on them for like 4 TDs?
Yep. That was the game that sold me on him after his woeful 2018

I think Lawrence stays in school rather than be drafted by the Jets. Didn't Manning spurn them in this way as well years ago?
I think Lawrence declares and privately tells the Jets to go kick rocks, like Eli did 16 years ago. He wants his money and there's no point in risking injury or regression his senior year. He's good enough to have the leverage necessary to do this, and the Jets will be able to trade his rights for several major pieces.

Also...as an aside...has Josh ever thrown a pick 6? I don't recall seeing one...some QBs have a tendency for those type of INTs like Winston(and Matt Schaub going back a while) and others never seem to have them happen...
Week 17 of 2018 against the Dolphins to close out the first half.

I’ve done just about every hallucinogen in existence. All within a span of about 6 or 7 years during high school and college. Had really great experiences for the most part, but a friend of mine once told me “Every time you do LSD you leave a peace of yourself behind.” Freaked me out.
I did give a class presentation in college high of my ass on Peyote one time though 😎
I've never thought of acid like that. What I did learn after the fact is that it kind of functions as a schizophrenia simulator, which really freaked me out.
I can't imagine presenting to a class even a little buzzed, much less using peyote, lol

Malik Boyd is a guy I could see getting a lot of interest for a GM position. Excellent track record of picking gems off the scrap heap.

Once in high school I had the good fortune of sitting with four friends in an attic and getting whacked out of my mind on shrooms. Great day overall, but the highlight was standing next to a window and meticulously copying every tiny crack on the sill down into a document that I called "the wood language." I did this for three hours. Unfortunately, acid took me into a dark place just a few months later and I never tried psychedelics again.

Time for our team to 'Nut up' , get their "pissed off" on, and take that bad taste out of their mouths.
I kind of skimmed over this message and read it very differently than what was intended...

This is a huge game for the Bills to keep pace with the Dolphins and rest of the AFC WC field
The Dolphins and the rest of the AFC (sans KC and PIT) should be trying to keep pace with the Bills, not the other way around

My thoughts:
-Taron Johnson looked pretty decent in covering K. Allen. Not great, not terrible.
-Klein, Oliver and Hughes were great in this game. In the backfield every play. Meanwhile Edmunds crashed back down to earth and was mostly invisible.
-Williams and Dawkins had their worst game of the year. Bosa embarrassed them in some weird switch in ability between the Ts and the Gs today. Pass blocking was horrendous.
-Run blocking was great, especially just up the middle. Both Singletary and Moss looked decent in a season where that has been a high bar to clear for them so far.
-Allen played his worst game of the season. Just downright bad. Thankfully he played it safe today, because I think he knew he didn't have "it." It's becoming a pattern where he either starts 7/7, 83 yards, TD or 4/7, 26 yards and he never really falls off or gets better during games. The drop-off between this offense with Brown and without is shocking. You have to hope and pray he only misses the 3 games.
-We won this game in no small part because Anthony Lynn is an idiot. Not the finest hour for this offense but the defense did step up and had probably their best game of the year.
-Refereeing this game was abysmal. That Moss call was Cody-Ford-blindside-block-level phantom call.
In the end, 8-3. Just keep winning.
-
Even if he does play, he's just icing for a LAC team with a lot of weapons. McD has to make sure the game plan does not involve taking the foot off the brake at any point. I know he said that the run game will be the focus over the bye but I think this is a game they're going to win by letting Allen pass 45 times.

Power Rankings (I'll do a top 14 since thats the number of playoff teams)
1. Chiefs
2. Steelers
3. Saints
4. Tampa
5. Ravens (missing those 2 on the DL is a big deal)
6. Bills
7. Colts
8. Packers
9. Seahawks
10. Titans
11. Rams
12. Arizona
13. Browns
14. Vegas
All of these teams have flaws.
All of them can beat any of them. We are 3-3 against 6 of them.
I'm not sure there is an "elite" team that I want no part of. The Ravens and Steelers D. I don't want anything to do with those defensive.
For me, the Ravens offense is faulty enough that I think the Bills could win a low-scoring game like the Pats game.

The Bills coaching staff is very good when they are behind at halftime. They identify and make the adjustments to counteract the opponent's game plan. On the other side, the Bills coaching staff sucks when they are ahead at halftime.
Then why is their record horrible when they're behind at halftime, whereas when they're leading at halftime they have yet to lose a regular season game?
-
I would be happy with Trubisky at backup. He's a guy who I wouldn't think our season is over with if Allen were to go down for 4-6 weeks (God forbid).

Scary predicament to be in. Kyler Murray probably set a precedent here
Tua hasn't been a world beater but he's been nowhere near as bad as Right Josh. Giving up on him for anyone in this draft other than Sunshine himself would be a colossal mistake.
15 minutes ago, That's No Moon said:Which team are they? The team that is one very unfortunate play from being 8-2 or the team that is two very fortunate plays away from being 5-5?
Every team, at the end of the season, is 3-4 fortunate/unfortunate plays from being great or being bad. You are what your record says you are IMO (barring some exceptions, e.g. the Chargers many of the recent years)

JetNation is amazing, with a certain poster as its obvious crown jewel. No other forum is nearly as nicely laid out as TBD though, and this is also by far the most active board I've visited. I have no idea why, considering Buffalo is much, much smaller than any other city but GB.
