I want people to list off some of McDermotts best coaching moments that you can remember which directly impacted the outcome of a game in a positive way. You guys think McDermott deserves another year? Prove it and post each scenario/evidence as to why you believe McDermott deserves another shot.

i cant believe there are fans that actually want to stick with joe brady. STOP RUNNING THE SAME PLAYBOOK. GET JOSH OUT OF HIS COMFORT ZONE. I am so sick of seeing the daboll/dorsey playbook and philosophy live on be because “josh wants to keep the consistency”. ITS NOT WORKING PEOPLE.

We all can see it and don't give me that bull#### that this is "who he is". His confidence is completely shot and he looks despondent and frankly depressed on the football field. Is our QB's mental health OK? i say this in all seriousness, what happened to the fiery Josh Allen his rookie year when they scored a touchdown vs the Chargers in his first start. Where is the Josh Allen that was oozing with emotion during the divisional round game vs. the Chiefs. Can you imagine how he feels after time and time again he drives the team down the field with almost no time remaining just to have Mcdermott ***** his pants. Examples would be the Hail Murray and 13 seconds. Not to mention the games this year. It seems like even if we score with ONE SECOND, we will still miraculously find a way to lose and the mental toll that could on Josh would be huge as he needs to constantly have the team up by two scores or were screwed.

Zach Moss will never be as good as he is right now. He’s a below average RB who blocks well, that’s it.

There is a chance he makes a reasonable jump this year. Anyone who is writing the Dolphins off are naive. Are they the class of the AFC? No, but they will be vastly improved and will strongly compete for a playoff spot.

And how are we not part of this?

Still no excuse to not win the division

Well isn’t it nice to be in the AFC East

This is the TB Game. Look at how flat footed he plays. There are a couple of plays where the DTs get worked back to him but man doesn't flow downhill at all on run plays. He doesn't process.
What about the play where he tipped a pass on 4th down and completely changed the momentum of that game?

I am in the group who wants him gone for a second round pick, but with all the pieces we’ve acquired what would be the point? He can still play a vital role on this defense and why lose that when you also have a full set of picks in the draft.
-
He sucked, yes I understand he plugged holes for the run defense but in todays NFL you need big time playmakers.

Hasn't Miller not missed a game in his career?

Don’t even care at this point

I think its been stated a billion times in this thread.
But just in case you missed the first 24 pages.
THERE IS NO WAY HE'S GETTING PAID $120 MILLION OVER 6 YEARS. NO CHANCE. NONE. ZERO.
The contract could just as easily be for $500 million over 6 years, with the last three years being salary of $150 million/year.
Hate to break it to you, but this isnt Beane's first rodeo. Its his job. Call me crazy, but I'm betting that this "overzealous and inexperienced GM" knows a bit more about NFL football an cap management than you.
Agreed, it isn’t just 6 years 120 straight up, there will be nuances with the contract.

I remember wanting to draft him but we had to settle for Dareus

Can’t wait to see another year where McKenzie can’t even break 300 yards.

He had 26 targets all season. Can't do much when everyone else is getting playing time over you.
And to extrapolate that.
Beas had 116 targets for 8.5 per reception.
Mck had 26 targets for 8.9 per reception (this doesn't include what he did in the running game with the soft backward tosses).
I think he is mediocre at best. There is a chance he doesn’t make the roster.

Yup, let’s have 2 TE’s that consistently drop the ball, brilliant.
