This was me too. I was wrong. Josh was the guy (outside of Lamar).
I wanted nothing to do with navy option Lamar. Still don't. I think hes extremely overrated

I was a baker/ Rosen guy
My whole issue with Allen was in the Iowa game I got really put off by him. I thought he was scatter shot, erratic and just not a natural smooth qb...
His progress from the beginning of his rookie year, to the end. The jump he took in year 2, and now a massive leap in year 3 is really amazing...
His leap this year reminds me of the leap jo e burrow took in his jr to Sr year at LSU

The rams defense is very suspect outside Ramsey and Donald. Now one of their corners are hurt...
I'm predicting another 400 yards for Josh
-
Even if Allen has 5000 yds, 50 TDs
They will pick up his 5th year option...
Hes gotta do it twice to get the mahomes contract
Unless he wins the super bowl, then yes obviously lol
-
I started Diggs and Brown in my fantasy
😎

Wednesday injury report is always inaccurate because Wednesday is usually a maintenance day/ rest day...
Friday is the most reliable

WE ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!

I don't get why bills fans bash Taylor. He was always a bridge qb who restored respect back to our organization

I'm curious how pff would grade John Elway and Brett Favre

Where has Knox been lining up this year? Hint: not the slot
You do realize Davis is a wr
You do realize Knox is a te
You do realize 4 wr sets are replacing knox

Um, No. Watch the film. Davis lines up at WR when we run 4 wide. He does not do the things that Knox was asked to do.
That would be Kroft (ok, but...) or Gilliam (can't handle the blocking part yet).
4 wr sets are replacing knox... Davis is even lining up in the slot and chipping pass rushers.
Davis is taking his snaps

Who cares what they think or say?
It matters what legacy media says because it creates narratives and that can push all kinds of stuff in certain directions.
The early 90s Bills were our greatest era
The narrative on that team played a major role in hof selection as a small example

Huh? The Jets are the worst team in the nfl. They have a decent d line and is trash everywhere else. They start Chris Hogan and Frank Gore.
some of you are weird. I think every is thrilled with Allen and how the team is playing. Yet some of you seem angry. I think a lot of us are excited to see this team against a real opponent to truly measure how good they are. But they are doing what they should do to bad opponents. You should crush them. And they have, especially offensively.
I mean Brady has 6 SBs so he has a bit of resume. And no one cares about Baker. Dude took far more hate than Allen did last year.
Who would you rather have
Peyton manning or Tommy Frazier?

I’m not sensitive about the national media. We have played maybe the 2 worst teams in the nfl. Allen played great. Let’s just be happy and hope he continues it against some of the good teams we have coming.
if he plays close to this level next week, they will give him respect.
The jets defense is not a bad unit, and Miami is far better than you're letting on.
Let it go dude

They kinged Lamar Jackson last year week 1 vs a way worse Miami team
Again you're embarrassing yourself
Josh Allen through two weeks isn't just the best qb in football, hes playing at an all time level at this moment. Its ridiculous. We're talking 84 Marino, 99 kurt Warner
This isnt navy option Lamar running around

I like your enthusiasm, however you'll have to count me amongst those who absolutely do not think this will be an easy game. Not by a long shot. I think it's a little premature to call our offense unstoppable just yet. Don't get me wrong, I think Allen is ballin out of control, and Diggs Brown and Beasley are an excellent starting 3. We have yet to get our running game flowing, and we still don't know where we are as far as our TE situation goes, especially with Knox fumbling and dropping another pass before going out w/injury.
We ARE 2-0, but we beat two teams we were SUPPOSED to beat. In the Jets game we left ALOT of points on the table and let them hang around til the 4th quarter due to turnovers and sloppy play. In the Dolphins game they were beating US and we had to comeback to get the W.
We got lots of work to do. But I do believe we have the potential to be unstoppable, and if Josh keeps improving like he has, man oh man, I can vision a future where he's not just in the conversation about MVP, but is the favorite!
This Rams game is gonna be a more accurate gage on where we are as a team, IMHO.
Gabriel Davis has de facto replaced knox...

Correct. I checked, and Kelly had just over 12 YPA in the 49ers “no punt” game. That has to be the team record.
Can you imagine the stats Kelly would've put up in the no huddle k GUN now. You cant hit the qb or touch wrs now. Kelly might've seriously had 5000 TDs 50 TDs in a year

Because they are a very talented team with a good coach that has been playing good football. The Bills are very good; they haven’t earned the reputation as a world beater because they beat the Jets by 10 and Dolphins by 3.
Dude...
NOBODY CAN STOP US! NOBODY!!
I'm predicting Allen goes for 400 again and we win with ease

12 yards per attempt. I’m willing to bet that is the highest YPA in a single game by a QB in Bills history.
Jim Kelly in 1991 put up ridiculous stats

Akers - torn rib cartilage
Brown- broken finger ( surgery but will play)

The key is going to be stuffing the run and putting good, solid chucks on their WRs. You absolutely must disrupt the timing of their passing offense and keep Goff from getting into a rhythm.
I feel pretty secure in knowing that they’ll have a plan to limit Aaron Donald (obviously you aren’t going to neutralize him completely), so WRs and TEs winning 1-1 matchups will be critical.
Ramsey is by far their best corner; I wouldn’t feel great about leaving Hill or Darious Williams on Smoke without help. Johnson is a solid safety—loved him coming out of BC a few years ago—but man coverage isn’t his strongest asset.
I’m thinking that Bease can get some volume early and often, which would force either the ILBs to loosen up and open more opportunities for the backs, or Johnson to walk down closer to the box and leave Smoke 1-1.
Why wont it be an easy game?
Our offense is unstoppable
We could just as easily run them out of the building if we stop the fumbles
I'm expecting us to jump on them quickly
Their oline is banged up
Their RBS are banged up
We have ***** Josh Allen!!!
Buffalo 44
Rams 20

Analytics has its place. The problem like with most ideologies is trying to use it in every single facet of sports and being a fundamentalist about it....
The movie money ball was a great movie but the irony was within analytics itself. The lesson here is to never dismiss new world views, new ideas and to have a broad view with success. Nothing is always one way...much like Bobby Fisher who would break the cardinal rule in chess giving up his queen, there are multiple ways to win a game. Dogma hurt bill polian in Lamar Jackson's evaluation etc
So when you hear a college qb with under 60% comp % has never done x y or z
You should pause before casting complete JUDGMENT and use it as a tool , not the end all be all

Tape always plays to NE*'s advantage. Belichick is at his weakest early in the season when other teams haven't yet been taped extensively.
They are experts at exploiting game film.
Billy is under .500 without Brady. Hes a good defensive mind who struck gold in the 6th round. Outside of tht he would've just been another Greg Williams

I'm not worried about the Bills scoring on the Rams. I'm worried about the Bills not being able to stop the Rams offense.
It will be a shootout, as I said.
I mean...I'm gonna pump the brakes a little bit here.
Our offense has looked pretty impressive, but it HAS been against two of the worst teams in the league. Even the Dolphins defense, which isn't very good, held the Bills to two consecutive three-and-outs in the third quarter yesterday.
Good? Yes. Unstoppable? I think it's too early to say on that one.You go ahead and pump the breaks. Josh Allen will keep the foot on the gas

I disagree. Polian was correct in his assessment and it's why Roman has to run variances of the navy option.
Hes extremely limited from a cerebral standpoint and their offense is a house of cards if you get ahead....
He didn't deserve the MVP imho
