    I disagree.  Polian was correct in his assessment and it's why Roman has to run variances of the navy option.  

     

    Hes extremely limited from a cerebral standpoint and their offense is a house of cards if you get ahead....

     

    He didn't deserve the MVP imho

    I was a baker/ Rosen guy

     

    My whole issue with Allen was in the Iowa game I got really put off by him. I thought he was scatter shot, erratic and just not a natural smooth qb... 

     

    His progress from the beginning of his rookie year, to the end. The jump he took in year 2, and now a massive leap in year 3 is really amazing... 

     

    His leap this year reminds me of the leap jo e burrow took in his jr to Sr year at LSU

    some of you are weird.  I think every is thrilled with Allen and how the team is playing.  Yet some of you seem angry.  I think a lot of us are excited to see this team against a real opponent to truly measure how good they are.  But they are doing what they should do to bad opponents.  You should crush them.  And they have, especially offensively.

    I mean Brady has 6 SBs so he has a bit of resume. And no one cares about Baker.  Dude took far more hate than Allen did last year. 

    Who would you rather have 

     

    Peyton manning or Tommy Frazier?

    Josh Allen through two weeks isn't just the best qb in football,  hes playing at an all time level at this moment. Its ridiculous.  We're talking 84 Marino, 99 kurt Warner 

     

    This isnt navy option Lamar running around

    This Rams game is gonna be a more accurate gage on where we are as a team, IMHO.  

    Gabriel Davis has de facto replaced knox...

    The key is going to be stuffing the run and putting good, solid chucks on their WRs. You absolutely must disrupt the timing of their passing offense and keep Goff from getting into a rhythm.

     

    I feel pretty secure in knowing that they’ll have a plan to limit Aaron Donald (obviously you aren’t going to neutralize him completely), so WRs and TEs winning 1-1 matchups will be critical.

     

    Ramsey is by far their best corner; I wouldn’t feel great about leaving Hill or Darious Williams on Smoke without help. Johnson is a solid safety—loved him coming out of BC a few years ago—but man coverage isn’t his strongest asset.

     

    I’m thinking that Bease can get some volume early and often, which would force either the ILBs to loosen up and open more opportunities for the backs, or Johnson to walk down closer to the box and leave Smoke 1-1.

    Why wont it be an easy game? 

     

    Our offense is unstoppable 

    We could just as easily run them out of the building if we stop the fumbles 

     

    I'm expecting us to jump on them quickly 

     

    Their oline is banged up

    Their RBS are banged up

    Analytics has its place. The problem like with most ideologies is trying to use it in every single facet of sports and being a fundamentalist about it.... 

     

    The movie money ball was a great movie but the irony was within analytics itself.  The lesson here is to never dismiss new world views, new ideas and to have a broad view with success. Nothing is always one way...much like Bobby Fisher who would break the cardinal rule in chess giving up his queen, there are multiple ways to win a game. Dogma hurt bill polian in Lamar Jackson's evaluation etc

     

    So when you hear a college qb with under 60% comp % has never done x y or z 

     

    You should pause before casting complete JUDGMENT and use it as a tool , not the end all be all
