  1. Beane has done enough to warrant staying aboard, but I can't say the same thing about McDermott. Sometimes you have to admit and realize that a coach just doesn't have that one trait that puts your team over the top. We had so many good players, yet it wasn't enough. Why? Still find it baffling that he had to be coach and d coordinator. How many other teams have/had that? Injuries happen to every team. Hopefully this is the start of the Great Reset and not the slow descent of a generational talented QB.

  2. The defense while not perfect, had so many injuries. This team needs more on offense. At the very least, a clear 2nd WR. Everything else is a toss up where you could either way on a position choice. Roster is extremely old and our cap situation is going to be very difficult to correct in the next 3 seasons let alone 1 offseason.

  3. Had an actual conversation about this at work. Someone thought Diggs was purposely having a down season to trick KC into letting their guard down. You can't make this stuff up. It can't be a player hitting his peak 2 years ago and is now well on the decline, it's actually more in line with a conspiracy theory.

He talks a lot. I can do without the “That could be the play of the game, Jim!” on like an incompletion on 2&5 in the first quarter.

I’ll take him over talk-laughing Aikman and Colinsworth. And I do like that Allen messes with Nantz and is always right on top of his silly jokes. Tonight, Nantz was waxing on The Shining, which was nice.

Oh my goodness yes. Of course that is the must have down Tony. They're losing by more than 7. He's just overly excited for no reason. I get it that he's trying to add something to a game that other commentators normally don't, but it's quite annoying.

  5. I had this exact discussion about the Christmas Eve Eve game during the lead up. I would not subscribe to Peacock. Waited until midnight when they showed it on NFL Network. The fact that Rochester wasn't included in the Buffalo market, but was when Blackout rules used to decide whether you saw a game shows just how much greed there is. The Cincinnati vs Pittsburgh game was on NBC in Rochester, but not the Buffalo Bills game. I simply would not budge on this.

  6. I view football with the mindset that teams for the most part will win 1-2 games that they shouldn't and they'll lose 1-2 games that they shouldn't. We've already lost 2 games that we shouldn't have lost. This early into the season is very eye opening.
