It’s all fun and games until a pedestrian gets rammed into by a Ford F-350 careening out of control on an icy highway!
People who sacrifice freedoms over safety deserve neither.

Idk if I’d consider people dying trying to attend a football game during a blizzard “fun and thrills” but to each their own.
Who are you to deny us the right to die doing what we love? Don’t feel bad for us. Just stay home if you are afraid.

Probably not by very much, but the absence of the heavy snowfall takes the fun out of it, imo.
They take the fun out of everything. They are so afraid of death they will do everything they can to ruin the experience that comes along with brushing up against it.

You are very upset about waiting an extra 24 hoursI don’t care anymore. I’m just glad I got to grow up in a great time period for a few years to enjoy some freedoms before society ruined it. It was nice riding in the back of trucks and being part of a time that valued fun and thrills.

Bust out your snowmobiles and ride to the stadium.

Well.. there is a storm comingA storm that has happened hundreds of times before today when we decided it was all a sudden a big deal.

If Pegula ever decides to sell the stadium I will buy it. Then I will install a huge area to park your snowmobiles safely. Then if the government says don’t travel on the roads, you can seek refuge at my stadium and watch the game while we enjoy the blizzard!

Going to Bills game is clearly “essential travel”!
I’d take a snow mobile to the game before I listen to the government tell me I can’t travel.

What brand is it?
I was thinking of either going to the game or launching myself at the intakes for a float down the Niagara River.
Leaning the river.
Waiting for someone to go over the falls in a sealed orb ball with oxygen tank.

Huh? The townspeople are simply trying to tell the idiots in the boat that if they simply wait until tomorrow the tsunami will be long gone. 😂
We want to enjoy the storm. It’s part of living. Just let us do it. Weather chaos makes you feel alive because it’s thrilling.

We all applaud your enthusiasm Sir Milano the Brave!
But I highly doubt any of your adventurous Viking heroes called out the townspeople for not getting in the boat. They just went….quietly. 😉
Yeah but the towns people are trying to keep the Vikings from getting on the boat and setting sail. That’s the problem here.

This is a tough city for a tough game for tough people.

Say what? You do realize that literally hundreds of people died making such voyages, right?
Yeah, it’s part of living. If people are scared to live they can stay home and let the brave people venture on with their lives and enjoy a snowy game.
Just now, NewEra said:You seem to be missing the point
What point? If people get themselves stranded it’s on them. Why must we hold peoples hands? Let them live. If people don’t want to risk getting stuck they can stay home and watch the game from the comfort of their couch.

So the NFL, County and State… by holding this game at 1pm are encouraging fans to drive in it. That’s absurd and dangerous. If these are the conditions leading up to and after the game there’s going to be a ton of stranded people and emergency situations going on.
People know the risks. If you aren’t prepared for the risks, then It is what it is. Vikings sailed across the great oceans into the unknown. It’s amazing how scared people have become compared to human history. We have become pandas.

Well, flight from the west coast is cancelled, so I am putting away my coat and mittens and will watch the game in the 70s by the pool. Should be a better view, but I'm so sad to miss the snow game experience in person.
If the Bills spread the field they will find better running lanes for Josh and the RBs, but also be able to complete 5-15 yard passes regardless of weather. We are not built to play eight offensive linemen in I formation no matter what the weather, so I hope we can be creative and not just be ourselves like there isn't weather, but also not act like a 1950s Chicago Bears team thinking we have to.
We will try again next weekend if there is a game and there is an airport.
Go Bills
Can’t you fly into Rochester and Lyft or find a bus into Orchard Park? Where there is a will there is a way.

Listen man, just lift your truck, throw some chains on the tires, and drive 5 mph.- The response to everything in “The Weather Thread”, literally.
And before the government ruined it, if you didn’t have a truck, you could ride in the bed of someone who did and just drive slow. Ah the good ol days.

Let them be stupid. We are a nation of idiots. Let us be idiots.
This is America, we need more freedoms and less being told what to do. Let us be stranded on the side of the road, let us live free.
