There are settings where the YouTube uploader can keep his/her videos from being embedded on other sites.

    Thanks!

do they not embedd or just not play? I've never had any real problems with them here but I know the NFL ones will force you to go to the actual page to watch.

Sometimes when I post a YouTube video, there is just a link, which plays,  on its own page. But I would prefer to have them appear here graphically and play on this site.

i don't know how to get the tweet to show sorry im no @YoloinOhio

I couldn't get my tweet to show on the other thread either. I think you have to have thousands of posts to be allowed to do it.

Mobile does not show. ?‍♀️ No idea why not.

I used a desktop and Chrome, and my tweet posting didn't work.

when you're at the tweet there is a little icon next to the like button that when you click gives you some options including copying the link, just paste that here and it works.

    Got it! Thanks!

Now the only question is why some YouTube videos embed here, and others do not.

  3. ANOTHER ANNOUNCEMENT:

Pittsburgh Steelers season-ticket holders will now be required to wear masks inside the stadium:

    https://www.post-gazette.com/sports/steelers/2020/07/08/steelers-season-tickets-2020-covid-19-policy-full-refund/stories/202007080154

"Steelers season-ticket holders informed masks will be required at Heinz Field"

“Our goal is to still have fans at Heinz Field this year with the understanding that social distancing, as well as all fans being required to wear masks, will play a role in the capacity to ensure a safe atmosphere,” team spokesman Burt Lauten said in a statement. “We will continue to work with the NFL and public health officials to finalize plans for fans to attend our home games."

It is really too bad we are playing them at home this season, as the Steelers fans wearing masks would muffle their noise and make it easier for the Bills to communicate. But it is just as well, since we are playing them on national TV in front of raving Bills fans, and will destroy them, just as we did last year. I don't care if Rapistberger is their quarterback.

On the bright side, we are playing the 49ers away, and the governor of California has said there will be no fans allowed in stadiums this year. So the Bills should have an easy time dominating them at an empty stadium.

"If permitted under state and local government regulations to have fans attend games in 2020, a reduced seating capacity at M&T Bank Stadium will be in place of fewer than 14,000 seats per game."

On a different note, why wasn't I allowed to post the actual graphic tweet like others do? I used Chrome and pasted the link as plain text.

"If permitted under state and local government regulations to have fans attend games in 2020, a reduced seating capacity at M&T Bank Stadium will be in place of fewer than 14,000 seats per game."

This is 20% of the stadium's capacity. I expect Buffalo to do the same. This means 14,374 lucky Bills fans would be allowed to attend games. How will they decide? Lottery? First-come, first-served?

  6. If there is no college season, there will not be a draft. NFL teams will not have tape to evaluate players, and they would not be willing to risk a draft choice on someone who has been inactive for a year. The NCAA and NFL seasons will resume in 2021 as normal, with players getting an extra year of eligibility in college, assuming COVID-19 has been eradicated by then. Problem solved.

The problem is: how do they handle quarantining players who test positive during the season, without severely handicapping the team if those are key players (like Zeke for the Cowboys)

How would this be any different than a key player getting injured or even dying during the season, like Hank Gathers?? In the NFL, you take your chances.

I think we won’t know anything about Oliver’s play until at least week 7, maybe longer.

His case may not even be resolved until 2021. And at most, he will get two games off. He will be fine. I think the whole story of this incident is way overblown.

The Bills finally have a good OL, a young budding star QB, and what I think will be a fine backup.

We have a good OL? What did we do to really improve the OL in the off-season??

    3) It looks like they want to provide weapons to Josh, and prepare for him to get injured and have Fromm step in. What a great concept!!!! Chances are that a running QB like Josh WILL get hurt, no? They might actually be prepared for this now.

It seems like you want Josh to get hurt. Also, I don't understand your giddiness about Fromm, a 5th round pick, just like Nate Peterman.

hypothetically speaking.....if we were to have let's say an 8 game season and were to win the Super Bowl, would it feel less legit to you? The 1982 season was a shortened 9 game season and I always wondered how the Redskins fans felt about that. I would be happy but I do think it would feel sort of empty. What would you all think?

The Redskins also won it in 1987, another strike-shortened season, with a different QB. And they won the SB in 1991 too, with yet another QB. I'd say they felt prettty good about their seasons. Does anyone question the legitamacy of their 1982 and 1987 titles? Nope.

I mean, top 8 isn’t really all that impressive when you consider there are only a handful of good youngish QB’s out there. Guys like Brady, Rodgers, Stafford, Brees, Ryan, Rivers, are all in their career twilights.

Mahomes, Wilson, Watson, Lamar, Dak, Wentz, Allen, Murray, Darnold, Mayfield, Minshew would likely be the order, IMO. That just leaves the old dudes above and guys like Ryan Tannehill and Jared Goff.

You really think Allen, Murray, Darnold, Mayfield, and Minshew would all be taken before Goff?

BTW, SI recently ranked Minshew dead last:
