A must win? No sir. The season is not doomed with a loss. Stop setting up your tent on the ledge. Makes it that much more tempting to jump off if they lay an egg on Sunday.

Maybe not a "must win," but certainly a "should win." It will be interesting to see which bengals' team shows up. The one that nearly beat Seattle or the one that got smoked by San Fran...

Welcome to TSW.   Beating two bottom feeders at the start of the season just isn't impressive no matter what team does it.

100% correct! Cincy stinks too. So if the Bills win, they still haven't beaten anyone. If they lose, they still stink. That's the narrative, not my opinion.

I'll admit, that I rooted for the Bills in all 4 SBs before they got a competent owner...

Lazy take. Easy target. No doubt the Bills haters (sorry....realists) here will jump to his defense.  But he is all in on those awesome Patriots. Stomping the Dolphins is proof.

    Patriots' fan weighing in here...

The Dolphins game proved nothing except that the NE offense wasn't very sharp. The defense was great, but again it was against a team of backups. NE has been 0-2 and won a SB. They've also been 18-0 and lost a SB. It's far too early to know how things are going to turn out. Good teams from last year will fade and crap teams from last year will rise. What's the saying? Win the games you should and half the others?

We all come with a bias on these message boards of being Bills fans... some loved him when drafted, some hated, and most had their doubts... but out of curiosity - what would need to happen for you to finally sit back and be like "alright, Josh Allen is the franchise"

My answer: eliminate head scratching turn overs, and at a minimum split the season series with the Pats but be relevant in both games

He beat the teams that will be picking #2 and #3-5 in the next draft. Scrubs and bums. All except Mosely obviously. Think of how many "the ones" have come through Buffalo since Flutie... He's athletic for sure, but so were so many other flame outs. Give him a good o-line and see what happens. Your RBs are solid.

To be real, I know a few Giants fans and they don't feel that way.

They're not optimistic, but you're assertion sounds like something a Patriots fan would project on them.

I know many Giants fans too. My brother and his friends who live west of the CT River in CT for example. They think their team stinks nearly as bad as the Dolphins. I don't know what to tell you...

I’m always interested in seeing the other perspective of the upcoming matchup. Here’s what some Giants fans are saying...

Our offense should be able to handle them and score some points

The Giants proved last week against a better D than what the Bills have that they can move the ball and score.

In addition to his two interceptions and two fumbles, Allen's accuracy was erratic.

This is a game we have the talent to win.  Buffalo is not the type of offense that is going to carve you up in the passing game, like a Dallas/KC/Philly/New Orleans type.

This game will likely turn on how accurate Allen is on Sunday. I have no idea how to predict Allen's play. He's simply erratic.

Eli already knows how Belichick beats them twice every year; he'll be ready to copy that.

Giants don't need S.Shepard to win this game, AND it's a great chance for their 5th WR to shine (with Shepard and Tate out, I think that would be either R.Shepard or D.Slayton).

Our lack of pressure may prove to be a good thing, for once, as up to now Josh Allen has been a much greater threat running with the ball than throwing it.  And i am only half kidding.

Barkley is going to have a career day on Sunday.

IMHO Josh Allen looks lost! Thank god the Giants didn't take him! He was horrible on Sunday! Which is why the Jets loss is even more puzzling!!!

I don’t think our defense is good but let’s not pretend like Josh Allen is good either. So far he's a below average QB that can run.

I'm no Prescott fan, but he's certainly better than Allen, has a better OL than Allen, a better RB than Allen, and better targets than Allen.

Allen had 4 turnovers. He got lucky the Jets Kicker missed an XP & FG.

Jets, Bills, and Dolphins look to be picking top 10 this year.

To be real though, most Giants fans feel they can compete for the #1 pick with the Dolphins. Boy, that game will be a stinker...

lol @ truth and facts. The hallmark of a troll and you don't defend your troll posts which admits you're here to troll too.

There's nothing that needs defending. What I wrote is as true as saying today is Sunday. A troll is someone who posts false info for the specific purpose of rabble rousing. That's not at all what I did. If I would have trashed Allen or anyone else, maybe. There's no point doing that here because, as a fan from another team, I'd get banned for writing that was far less scathing than you. Even if I was correct and you weren't.

I'm done with this conversation, but I'm sure I'll catch you on another thread. Or maybe the Jets' forum...

You worry about me adding some truth and facts to a conversation and wonder why I'm here. Then you say you've seen my posts on a Jets site. So why are you trolling a Jets forum? Besides, the Patriots forum has more fans from other teams than any other forum...

I mean, what would one expect them to learn?   One learns when one does (whatever it is) and it has a negative consequence

What is the negative consequence to the Patriots for re-up'ing a psychopath and a murderer?  While he was with them, Hernandez improved their team.  When evidence he was a psychopath and a murderer came out in public, they dropped him like a stone down a well.

They'll do the same with Chung and with Brown IMO because that's what they've learned.  They'll stick with guys they think might make them better until their legal troubles completely overshadow their contribution, then they'll cut ties.

When NE signed Brown, I was excited despite him being an asshat. He would either conform to the Patriot Way by staying out of trouble, keeping his mouth shut, and not broadcasting on instance. Now, after he was signed, these allegations come out. Convenient, right? By all accounts, NE didn't know about them.

Chung won't be in any trouble because he wasn't even arrested. Reports are they weren't his drugs. Even if they were, the DA wouldn't put him in jail because he believes in treatment. Well documented...

I’ve been commenting for weeks about first this thing and then that thing that the Bills are doing like the Patriots.  The examples are everywhere:

    1.  The do-your-job mentality.

    2.  The offensive coordinator with the Patriot pedigree

    3.  The multiple shifts and offensive formations.

    4.  The solid tackling, stifling defense running out of the same sets most of the time.

    5.  The attention to detail.

    6.  The preparation for every situation.

    There are plenty of examples.

I was thinking today about being happy to be a Bills fan instead of a Patriots fan.  It’s an odd thought, I know, given the relative levels of success the two franchises have had over the past twenty years.  I’d love to have the Patriots’ success, and as I’ve said often in the past few months, I actually believe that success is coming for the Bills.

In New England, however, that success came out of an amoral culture.   Too much has happened to support any other conclusion:

    1.  The Patriots had a murderer on their roster.  A flat-out, cold blooded murderer.

    2.  The Patriots have a big-time drug addict on their roster.  Now, I know taking drugs isn’t immoral, and I know there are other people with drug issues in the league, but drug addiction often is symptomatic of other behavioral issues. Josh Gordon has those symptoms.

    3.  The Patriots have, if you can believe the latest news, a rapist on their roster.  A rapist who, by the way, quit on his first team and quit on his second team.

    4.  The Patriots are owned by a billionaire who, for his personal pleasure, encourages sex-trafficking of poor women from other countries.

    5.  The Patriots coach, for all those things I admire about him, is a cheater.   His obsession with winning takes him beyond clearly delineated rules.  He isn’t gentleman enough to behave morally.  He often talks as though he respects the game and it’s past, but if he really respected it, he wouldn’t cheat.  And that’s perfectly okay with his owner who, despite his good press, clearly respects winning more than he respects people.

Any one or two of those things, okay, I get it.  Nobody’s perfect.  The Bill have a guy who’s been in prison.  Richie Incognito had his issues.   Duke Williams wasn’t a choir boy.  The difference is, the Bills acquired those players and have kept them AFTER they’ve demonstrated that they’ve put those issues behind them.  And they’ve actively rid themselves of players, like Incognito, who can’t continue to behave.  The guys the Bills have are model citizens, and they are that way because McDermott and Beane wouldn’t have it any other way.   It’s important to them, and I suspect it’s important to the Pegulas, too, that the players on their team be good people as well as good players.  With the Patriots, the inquiry seems to stop at the good players test.  And it’s not surprising, when the owner has such blatant disregard for the people he uses and abuses for his own personal pleasure.

They can keep their rings.  I’ll take the Bills.

    Go BILLS!

OK... Normal fanboy nonsense is fine... However outright and blatant lies should not be tolerated by ANY fanbase.

    1. Hernandez... Cut immediately once his crimes committed in the OFF SEASON were exposed.  The Ravens built Ray Lewis a statue...

    2. Josh Gordon... He has issues for sure. Finally, he has a support system help him.

    3. Antonio Clown... The alleged event happened when he was a Steeler. 2 years ago...

    4. Kraft... Morons continue to claim sex trafficking, etc, even though it was well known at the time that there was none...

    5. BB .. .No one has ever been able to prove that there was ever any cheating. Because there never was. Simpletons continue to make things up

You seem to know a lot about certain activities in Nevada.  Just an observation.

So, you're trying to convince people that you had no clue that prostitution is legal in certain parts of Nevada? Either you're lying (I doubt it) or you're simply trying to rabble rouse.

You would have been better off by saying, "I'm stupid. You're smart. I was wrong. You were right. You're the best. I'm the worst. You're very good-looking. I'm not attractive." ???

Something that allegedly happened when he was in Pittsburgh, but no one knew about it. No one had any idea when he was in Oakland either. However, the moment he is signed by the Patriots... Look at that! Another Patriots' player, blah, blah, blah...

If he's guilty, hang him by his balls and give Taylor an aluminum baseball bat to play piñata.

They will have to eventually, especially considering Krafty Bob's recent legal entanglement. Boston sports writers are fanboys but the actual news reporters are going to savage the Patriots.

Seriously? These idiot Boston sports writers have been rooting for the Pats to fail for years! They want to be the first to be right. Trade Brady, contention in the organization, TB and BB at odds, BB is terrible at personel and have only been "lucky" for the last 20 years, etc...Some of these douches are more critical than you guys!

This clown will probably be put on the Commissioner's Exemption List and won't ever see the field this year.

NE reporters have been very critical of Kraft's judgement. Sure, everything was consensual and between adults. Yes, the DA and Sheriff's Department knew all along that there was no trafficking of underaged girls involved and they've admitted as much. Hell, my husband spent more on our first date! Kraft could have hired someone to go to him or flown 1 hour west and everything would have been legal.

He had a 64% completion percentage!!!!

That was in large part due to him taking what was given in the first half. This shows him already starting to evolve and get away from trying to push every ball downfield while holding the ball too long. More than a few glimpses of “Non- Hero Ball.”

For all the completion percentage grief he has taken it surprises me no one ne seems to be talking about this.

They weren’t the second best team today NE fan?

When the Bills were getting their butts handed to them, EVERYONE here was trashing the Bills. The season was over, you said. Laughingstocks, you said. Suddenly, you're good? Please... NE, NJ, Buffalo, Miami...
