I don't know,  safety might be second. Lots of perennial backups and a rookie from Utah.

Then LB is a big question mark. No idea how Milano will come back. Williams was fast but out of control. Added a couple nice insurance pieces in FA

I think they will be ok at WR. Just will not have a guy that catches 110 balls.

I think with the addition of Delany and having Hyde as a "break glass in case of emergency". Safety looks ok, now who is the 4th outside CB? That is where I see our biggest hole on the roster.

Not as bleak as people think...  but not as sunny as we'd hope.

There are a lots of if's...But some seem to be better bets then others...Hits on 50%, well now we are cookin'. If he ever REALLY need safety help, break glass Hyde will play...I'm betting 1 longshot/darkhorse WR pans out,...sh!t, Foster even looked good for a moment. I like this kid Coleman, I didn't want him at 1st but NOW...I can see why he was who they wanted. Dude's 20...20! I had visions of a "double dip", mine was Franklin & Polk...But I like our draft much better today .Still would have liked Rice in the 7th...If Hyde is the only one we have to pull off the couch this year, I think things will be bright!

  3.  I look at it as a good signing. Expecting Coleman out of the gate to play the X and w/ no one else on the roster capable was a tough ask. MVS helps out here and provides that field stretching factor. That allows for more mix and matching at the Y&Z. Claypool while a dark horse  "if he can ever..." would be a huge bonus. Hamler if he can stay healthy...etc. Seems to me Brady hand picked Samuel and Shakir looks primed for a larger role. Then we get to factor in  the TE's and RB's. Kincaid being a yr along in his development(TE's always taking longer), would really love to see him hit the seams more this year(plenty of yards to be had there...). I wanted to double dip at WR and wanted Franklin too, then Walker went off the board and while I would have been happier w/ Rice in the 7th. Love the add of Davis w/ our 4th , tough back should make it through the season and extend both his and Cooks season. Only other place to get Franklin/Walker would have been the 3rd but Carter sounds/looks like a player to me and we needed a young DT. Things are not as bleak as many think, tweaks will come just like today w/ Delaney over Cepheus, it's not even June!!! Go Bills!!!

  4. I too think they want to see what they have in house first. Lots of if's...But if more than 1 pans out, Is there still a need? There would be no need if Coleman and say Claypool pan out. Even if they can split time at the X, that's a good thing. I think they plan at mix and matching at the Z and slot and with what we have I can see that working. Then incorporate the backs and TE's, you can win with that.

  5. The more learn about these players the more I like this draft. Coleman is still only 20 and was a part time player until what 2 years ago? A lot of people are screaming because his slow 40...Dude still returned punts!!! Still a lot of time to refine those skills...Bishop...May not internally start due to how complex the D is  but would love to see him go against the conventional thought and see him develop into a stalwart FS ...Carter, at first I admit
I wanted Franklin around here, but after learning more about this guy. I really like his potential, I think he's going to really be a player...Davis will play and often as a rb2...VPG I see a starting center and hopefully THIS year...Solomon an under sized pass rush specialist w/ bend and speed NCAA sack leader, Nice...Hardy...Punt returner /back up slot...The rest will fight for depth spots and the P/S...Clayton is a free extra roster spot

  6. Everything I hear at about this kid, screams to me starting center. If he's got the head for it, it's a no brainer. If memory serves me correct, Connor can play center, but some of those snaps were off(where this kid excels BTW). Edwards while a stating caliber guard is much better w/ limited snaps as the 6th. I would love to see a Torrence like rise from this kid, I can see it happening...P.S. IF Coleman can be that Carmichael/Monk guy...Not hating this class at all, even tho no double dip(I wanted Franklin too, but growing to love this Coleman kid).

  7. I am won over...Remember it's much harder to find an X...I started a Troy Franklin thread AFTER we drafted this guy and admittedly wanted him under Denver took him{smart move Nix/Franklin, keeping it rollin'). This kid is 20? The peak has yet to be in sight. Great attitude, takes things seriously yet has fun while doing it. I like this pick and player and for those who say "couldn't they have waited...NO the pats wanted him, traded out of that spot after we took him, LET the chargers take  McConkey and then snag the other WR I initially wanted other than Franklin...Polk...So I have a keen eye on these 3 players and look to see how

    they fare.

Y’know, fans are pissed off about Keon Coleman but 99.9% of Bills fans pretty much adored Troy Franklin, but somehow Franklin is still available in RD3?

I agree...Getting the X is harder...They knew NE wanted him next , he was their guy after the big 3. The fall of Franklin, proves it, BUT...Yes, Worthy is faster, but IDK if he's a better Football player than Franklin. Coleman I am not mad about, if they are right about him. Speed on the other side...Yes!
