im  surprised  noone  mentioned  the    best  back   up  quarterback  this  year ,  teddy  bridgewater . if im not   mistaken    he  only signed  for  one   year ,    yes  he  would  be  a  bit    more   expensive ,  yes we  have  the  money   and unless he is  prmised  the  starter  job in  NO  he   would be  going to highest  bidder.   there  are a lot  of   fairly  good       veteran    QBs   coming  on the  market . Unfortuneately  most      probably  wouldnt  accept a  back  up position

  this  whole  season is  on  mayfield . it began last  year lobbying for kitchens  to be HC.   this week  will   be  mired in   infighting and   controversey. all  the  better for  the  bills.   i  wouldnt think id  watch a 2-5   team against  a  1 -6   but    i    just  revelled  in  it     them losing. i see  them  maybe     winning  3 maybe  4  gamesif  they  split pittsburgh   the rest of  the  seaon .

 im  surprised  noone  has  brought  up  that          something seems  very  underhanded  here.      i  just  cant  believe  with  all  the  drama  and  distractions   that  AB has  caused      with the Raiders  that  the  patriots      make a decision and  say  oh   look AB is available .   with  the  majority  of      any  sane  person  thinking AB   would  never  see a  contract    again to get  one close  to the dollar amount   he  had   just  screams      there is a      case for at least looking into  tampering.   who knows   when         there were  talks   or  interest shown  by  the  pats.    history  has  shown   the pats  would have  sat  back and    offer  much less.  the  moment   AB   asked to be  released,  he  must  have known of  new  englands  interest.

  i was   surprised  buffalo   was  even   thinking about   getting  such a  drama  Queen .    i   have no idea   what  buffalo was offering   and perhaps we  will never know .  That  being said ,   i  thought   what would  have  been   cool  or  call ABs   bluff   would  have  been  a    poison pill  type of trade.     Swap   7th  rounders  this  year          with a  conditional  pick  next  year of a     first or second   if  AB    showed and  performed.     AB    wouldnt  have  to   show   but i think  he would  have to  mail  in  his  10  million    dollar   cheque  for     deciding to retire.
