It takes a few seconds to switch back and forth between games. But if you're worried about missing and action just watch redzone. Last night the NHL Channel that the Sabres were on was down for maintenance, so I just searched Chicago TV and found the game

UPL was pretty solid. Didn't look like he was overwhelmed and was in good position all night. Hard to win when you don't score. Puck handling was the worst that I've seen outta this group. Passing was terrible.

I've had it for a month and a half. No problems withit buffering on live TV. The se tion where you watch old show and movies yes there is a problem with it buffering but figured that was because I have slow internet speeds. But as far as the games watching them live I haven't had a problem.
