  1. I'm fine with this move. Clearly they really like this WR class and feel confident they can draft and develop.

I hope our next wide receiver is more of the larry fitzgerald, joilio jones type mold rather than the stephen diggs, terrell owens type in terms of character.

Man, I'm really saddened by this loss : /

Seemed like a genuinely good natured, spoken dude.

Vontae retiring at half time may be one of my favourite Bills memories. We tend to take things so serious sometimes, and Vontae just saying you know what. I'm done... is just priceless to me.

May he rest in peace 🙏

I don't think so, as long as it's good spirits.

Heck of a player and a heck of a person. One of my favourite football moments. Cracks me up every time xD

"Active or inactive the Pegulas still got to cut that cheque" xDD

  4. I commend  Poyer for not taking the cheese and throwing anyone under the bus. It would of been easy for him to do so, now that he's left the organization but he he is all class. Respect the dude. Wish him nothing but the best going forward in life.

I agree.  Beane doesn't play the game from the sideline.  He's always in the fight, so there will be some big deals, for sure.  There might be a trade up in the first round.  It could be anything.

I hope he's learned from the past, I really did not like the Von signing when we made it.

He's has an opportunity to do a soft reset here and have another crack at it. I'm curious how he's going to pivot his approach since their mantra is constantly growing.

I don't want to hear one time this season that Von isn't a team player. He didn't have to do this. This is a team first move all the way. Immediate cap savings and he is betting on himself which means he'll be going all out every snap to try & make plays to hit those incentives.

Yea, he had been the whipping dog around here lately but this speaks volumes on making things right. I will be rooting for him even more this year!

  7. Wow, I'm just catching up on things. Daam, I liked Morse from a leadership/ person standpoint but I get the reasoning. I hope our next center is a real anchor up front, that the only knock I had against Morse.

A big thank you to Mitch for being an outstanding member of the Buffalo Bills. A class act though and through. Will be missed.

He earned the job IMHO.  Doesn't mean he has nothing to prove, because he still has a lot to prove.  But he took someone else's offense and did enough with that to help this team go from 11th place and out of the playoffs to division winner and #2 seed.

Unfortunately for Joe, he got the job in a season where the coaching staff as a whole is on a hot seat.

Great call btw on the bills running the table to finish the season. You were given a lot of flack in that thread but you deserve your flowers. 👍

  9. It's a tough decision because we've been competitive but at the end of the day, it feels like we could be doing more. Watching the AFCG yesterday, at no point did I think that Baltimore or KC were above the Bills in any way. But in these big games, with the margins so tight, we are coming up short and a lot of that has to do with the defense not holding its end of the bargain and game time coaching errors.

It appears whatever your opinion of McDermott is, he will be back next year but it is no longer such a contrarian thought to want to move in a new direction. I'm slowly starting to come around with this idea but I will reserve my judgement until the next season is complete.

I do still think favourably of Beane even though the Von Miller contract is a real wart in his resume.
