Difference is guarantees. You could have a guy like Caleb make more in his one remaining college year than one year in the NFL but thats just it, he's got one year. Think most will opt to make $30mil+ over 4 years, maybe 5 years.

I'm still shaking my head that Davis is ahead of Higgins.
#likewtfconfused
Higgins was battling injuries this year so that played a factor

Just stop. Did not even make it to the AFCCG. Stats like this mean squat. Just win, baby.
Stats like this mean anyone blaming Josh for the Bills falling short every year are lazy and follow whatever random narrative is thrown out there instead of coming up with their own analysis.

Straight up, Josh "overpowers" Mahomes every time and the rest of the team/coaches let Josh down. This sounds like just like the rest of the main stream media that has no clue what theyre talking about... you mustve just watched Steve A Smith when coming up with this one.

Yeah, all that's true but Denver is a terrible football team that we couldn't get off the field.
We are supposed to have a better defense than most of the league even with injury. We have all these pretty stats, EPA, etc. but the defense has multiple chances to win this game and end last night and didn't. It has happened, what, like 3 times this year? Jacksonville? New England? The the NY?
They got lucky against the giants, too.
Think it's unfair to come at the defense here. They did get off the field. The offense kept putting them back out there through turnovers and 3 and outs. The last Broncos drive was pitiful no doubt but you really couldnt ask the defense to do more the rest of the game.

Because Brady wanted it more than Rivers did. Brady studied the film harder than anyone I know. He was a surgeon on the field. That is what it takes to be great. Doing the little things despite not having the raw elite skill set.
Why didnt Tom Brady win every superbowl he went to if he wanted it more than everyone else? Winning is hard dude. I want to win the lottery more than everyone else and i swear i figured out the science to pick the winning numbers every time and yet I still don't have my lambo. Peyton Manning didnt win his first until his 10th year(?).

So do I. His instincts just pop off the screen, huge wingspan, I think we got our future LB.
Agree. I get the skepticism due to Bernard but this guy can play. I've grown to love the pick.

I’m not a fan of the idea of a live Buffalo at the games. Buffalo are wild animals and have no place inside a stadium of 70,000 screaming fans. Never needed one before, don’t need one now.
Agree. As cool as it would be, i would feel terrible knowing the animal is probably scared out of its mind.

Like do you have any stats to base the bolded off of or are you making it up so your point sounds better?Do you watch playoff football? Shouldn't need PFF analysis to understand what happens.

I dont care if we have 9 wins and get the last wildcard spot, anything can happen with Josh at the helm. A down year will be 7 or less wins with no shot at the playoffs which is hard to do with how Josh can carry the entire team to a win.

I'm guessing he didn't see any numbers higher than what the Bills were willing to give...hence why he is still here. I love Poyer and glad it worked out that he will still be here for a couple years but let's not pretend he had some last minute change of heart, this strictly came down to a business decision.
Let's remember he complained about taxes at one point. Almost seems like the bills offer was far above everyone else's when factoring that additional 10% tax

Rumors are that Nate Oats' Alabama assistant, and former Oats assistant at UB, Bryan Hodgson is being brought in to replace Whitesell.
Would love this. Bring back the youth movement to the coaching staff. Not that Oats was young by any means but his style is so different from the old school mentality. Whitesell probably tried to replicate what Oats did but his old school thinking got in the way.
Also, Hodgson won the TBT tourney with Blue Collar U. Continually involved with winning cultures.

You got your wish. Now who do we hire?

Frazier doesnt call anything different than his base scheme. He's admitted multiple times his defense will not do anything differently to combat matchup issues. The reason KC handled Cinci is KC adjusted and called a game that would interfere with what Cinci wanted to do. Look at Tomlin against the Ravens late this season - Tomlin stacked the line with 5 linemen/3 LBs and dared Balt/Huntly to throw it. You dont need to be this drastic but have some situational awareness at a minimum and call a game that's not so damn predictable/conservative.

WRT Teller, he's a mauler best suited for run blocking. The run heavy scheme in Clev fits his strengths perfectly. I'd still take him any day over what we have, just dont think he'd grade out as strongly here.
Rd 1 we take best available IOL.

Okay, but it's something he's done and could do. Even if you remove that from his repertoire, the point is moot. Isaiah Hodgins for Isaiah McKenzie is not something that would happen as they are completely different WR's that line up and play completely differently.
He had one good return against Miami 2 years ago but in reality, he's a liability back there. The coaching staff doesnt trust him anymore hence the Hines trade. Mackenzie's only use is a gadget play but even those havent been working. To me, Mackenzie has lost his right to start with the amount of drops and boneheaded plays. Time to give Shakir a chance.

We got hit with a bug a few weeks ago and almost everyone played. I'm sure the Jets will be fine.

Well… expectations just went down a bit.. so at least I won’t be as p!ssed IF we don’t get the Lombardi this season.
This blows. At least Tre is back and maybe can contribute to some coverage sacks.
I swear this organization is truly cursed.
I'll still be pissed if we dont win it all. This is just another thing for me to agonize over.

I’d take Beasley over McKenzie and Shakir any day of the week and to be honest I wish he never left. We need a good slot receiver and McKenzie hasn’t been the answer.
Beas always found that sweet spot. Bring him back to teach Shakir. Mackenzie is a gadget guy who lacks the instincts to find that spot and settle - nothing against him, just not his game.

The lack of wrapping up is alarming. I see a lot of our defense lowering their shoulder hoping to flatten ball carriers. I think Phillips had a big hit doing this and now it seems like everyone wants to do the same thing.
