  1. When Bledsoe does get cut by March 1st, can we have a rally at the airport to send his sorry ass out of town? Much like the rally at the Ralph when he arrived, only in reverse.

If you are going to be nasty, be original.

Bledsoe is no TO or Moss show off, demanding attention, putting himself before the team. Drew said himself that the pep rally was over the top. however people are making it sound like he set the dam thing up himself. I think he was actaully embarrassed by the whole thing. I wonder how Buffalo would have reacted if he refused to speak at it.

Drew got old very quickly. (I still think he has a year left in him)

But you can't deny he has done every thing he could to bring sucess to Buffalo.

Its not a matter of effort, toughness or attitude. Its a matter of age and the body starting to give out. Its a matter of blow after blow to the head. why is everyone being so mean to a guy thats done all he could here.

The one thing I know is that the Bills, as an organization, are in a better situation than before Drew got here.

I don't mean to lecture but I'm amazed by the anger shown toward a good guy.

  2. Bledsoe has a lot of pride.  He knows the fan base wants him out and some of his teammates are laying the blame on him also.  He will take any reasonable trade to get out of Buffalo.

You might be closer to reports than I am, but the only teammate I heard not supporting Drew is Moulds. I saw quotes from Tucker Teage a Campell after the Steelers game giving him thier full support. Evans had possitive things to say before the Steelers game.

I think Moulds is a little sensative about not being the #1 guy any more and is looking to blame his woes on Drew. Who was the only guy on the Bills unhappy during the win streak?

I think Drew stays and fights just like he did this year.

If he were smart, he'd get as far away from Belicheck as possible.

  3. As much as I hate to say it, I think Belichick is one of the greatest coaches in the history of the game........it's just ridiculous what this guy gets his team to do. There is no way the Pats should be whooping the Colts the way they are given all their injuries on defense.......yet it's 20-3 with 7 mins to go in the fourth quarter.

I'm just amazed at his ability to make it snow when ever he wants it to. Now thats good coaching.

  4. The PAtriots ask Pro Bowl Player to take pay cuts all the time. Why are we shocked that TD would ask Drew to take a pay cut. I think if Drew feels he'll get shot to be the #1 guy and thinks he has enough left in the tank he stays.

If he thinks the job is going to be handed to Loseman, than he gets out, goes to the NFC where coaches and players are not familiar with him.

Goes to one last play off, one last pro bowl and retires with 43000 yards and a chance to got the HOF.

  5. Jags game:  Bills won the TOP by almost 8 minutes.  In the first Jets game, they lost the TOP.  However against the Steelers, the Bills were winning in TOP until that crushing 9 minute drive against the 3rd stringers.  So that's 2 of 3 games.  And yes while other positions could stand to improve, defense cannot be left-out.

Also remeber the FG drive after th missed Lindell FG tow go down by two. No excuse for that either. That was the killer. The defense gave up at that point. I can accept screwing up but not giving up.

  6. I hate both teams, but I think Herm Edwards is a helluva coach.......the guy fires me up every time I see one of his locker room speeches......I think this game is going to be closer than most people think. I'd definitely take the Jets and the points.

Didn't Chad toss two ints and lost a fumble?

  7. On two separate occasions Drew made the big play to but his team in a possition to win but stupid penalties negated each play. One is obviously the Jags game where he read the d and opted out of a pass in favor of a run. This run gave a first down and the Bills could have run out the clock. ooops--holding

The second was the pass to get the Bills to first and goal late in the third quarter of the steelers game. I actually heard a radio guy say "the Bills are about to take control of this game". oppps, pass intf., missed FG and lapse in concertration on D etc. Maybe he had a tough game up till then, but on that long drive he did everything he needed to put the Bills in place to win.

So to say that Drew can't read the D or freaks out when faced with complicated defenses is incorrect. Drew handled the Steeler defense enough to give the Bills a chance to go up by 4 or 8 points. Regarding the Int, his hot read, I think it was Josh reed, did not turn around for the leaving Bledsoe in the lurch. Ball in hand, a tired D, down by two-- he gambled by waiting for Reed to turn around, and lost. The fact of the matter is that Bills should not have been in a position where they needed to gamble.

In the first year of a new conservative system, Bledsoe was able to improve by 9 TDs is considerable improvement.

  8. Drew Bledsoe spent most of last season in Buffalo. Why is the only player not allowed to have a residense outside of the . Many players fly up for 4 days of work out and then fly to their off season home.

Its not insignifigant that Bledsoe inproved 9 TD from last year, and had few sacks and fumbles. See what eh can do the second year of this offense with healthy tight ends.

  9. But his skills ARE declining and that WILL have a bearing on his decision to renegotiate. He has lost a step, and his hands have become dinner plates.

I don't like the way he revealed the conversation with MM. I doubt Mike intended for that to go out. To me Moulds was the only player on this team who gave up after the 0-4 start. During the 6-0 run, he still did not seem happy. So much so that Bledsoe came out in public and said what a great player moulds was and how they really needed to involve him more. To me it sound like Drew was trying to sooth mould's ego because he wasn't as big of a part as the team winning as Evans was.

To me it smack of Ruben Brown, taking it to the airwaves telling everyone he'd take a pay cut, trying make himself to be an unselfish guy, while blaming his former coaches for his problems.

  10. 9 more TDs-- Thats alot! 100 more yards on 20 fewer attemps,

    far fewer fumbles lost

    far fewer sacks

More bad weather games as opposed to last year.

    3 more wins

First year in a new system. Got much better as the year went on.

    Missing TE for 3 games.

Next year if he get 29 TD are you going to say he didn't do much better than he did this year.

  11. I'm willing to let coach mike decide who our QB should be next year.

The Steelers have made Tom Brady, Chad Pennington and all most everyother QB looks bad this year.

This team came up short in all areas.

Special teams, missed FG and fumble, in ability to get the onside kick.

Also, our strongest unit came up short against an extreamly week offense.

Forget about Maddox, we let thier third string QB march on us once for a FG then let them hold onto the ball for 9 solid minutes.
