my other thought is new orleans now... lofty spread at home . Lot of people will be saying "oh so now you win" Also dont really see much use for them down the road. Hosting Washington in game 5 but with the new quarterback the skins probably win the turnover battle there.

i wanna save Minnesota.. i wanna be outside the division. Preferably at home. San Fran is my early thought but not locking in

he's the crazy one. Every little kid playing fantasy stayed far away from peterman

Detroit?
i'd second that in the early returns. Their punt coverage was horrendous

Can't say the Bills aren't headline material. One in today's Washington Post sports section reads "Peterman's futility is in historic territory." The article notes that no quarterback has "thrown at least 15 passes for fewer than 30 yards in a game while earning a 0.0 passer rating ...since Joey Harrington in 2006." Coach really has a tough decision to make.
Trading McCarron before determining how Peterman would function in a regular season game made no sense at the time. Now we obviously need a third quarterback or a replacement for Peterman, hopefully the latter.
what are the odds gruden would give us mccarron an even up swap for peterman?

i have a feeling the team already knows who the starter is.
hes gotta put on the facade because he has one of only 32 of the most coveted jobs in his profession and he's gotta tell the nation he wasn't ready after 5 months of prep.

If we are going to suck anyway, just play Allen and get that learning year out of the way
and we will suck less. let him take his lumps. all considered he beat a lot of quarterbacks this weekend with his 56 qb rating. Not too bad coming in down by more than 5 touchdowns.

Again, I think they did understand that he wasn't going to have an 80% completion rate. But as I've already posted.... If one guy very obviously outperforms the other in an "open competition", what are you supposed to do.... start the guy who LOST that competition?
I'm just saying. Hindsight is always 20/20, look at it through an objective lens, not an emotional one after we got our a$$es spanked.past performance is the crystal ball. Was he grossly out performed? Aj won the emotional comeback. He finished that game off. Didnt they go out and sign him because they thought they needed him? So they get a guy who's won an NCAA championship. He can handle the pressure. He's played admirably in a playoff game. He doesnt turn it over. Infantile or not these guys are showing they are reaching. If they believed in Peterman then why not give him a home game after the Chargers game. They were wrong by such a margin that everyone can see it.

Yep, just like it was the end of that Brady kid when he couldn't get it done against the Steelers in the playoffs, and Belichick had to pull him out and put in Bledsoe who gave them the touchdown pass they needed. Whatever happened to that poor Brady kid?
Brady was still the starter. That isnt the same scenario as benching a young quarterback and leaving him on the bench for a length of time. It hasnt happened yet. I'm just paranoid they dont know how to develop their draft pick they traded up for. They're showing us some incompetence. If you wanna make an argument you could make one about the Broncos qb. Still when he's drafted this high there's hopes he's gonna pan out like an elite nfl quarterback. Personally i watch a lot of ncaa and didnt think too highly of the qb draft class and certainly not much of Rosen, but Allen is who they went for so he's who i'm rooting for.

More grief comes from indecision than a bad decision. He needs to name a starter and move on. Stop pussyfooting around.

It sucks when you have to admit that you were wrong in your assessment of a player !
Either that or he doesn't want to completely ruin the kid psychy for life !
or at least his quarterback life. that hasnt happened yet, but he's worrying me. Exactly, by not starting Peterman he knows he's admitting to not having a clue since the offseson started. TT sat for a week then he changed up. He has a head coaching job. He sure as hell doesnt want to lose it.

If Peterman is trotted out as the starter again this year (baring injury) than McD seat starts to get asked about. The playoff honeymoon is over. He will lose the benifit of doubt with me already and will start being critical of his roster building and in game management.
Start Allen and He gets this year (from me anyway) what this year was always about a growth year and middle year of the rebuild. However you cannot talk this is a “learning year” if you are not giving your Rookie QB those “learning reps”.
and Bobby he'd rightfully lose the benefit of doubt your doubt and everyone else who supports this team. Manning, Aikman.....you dont expect a ton of wins but you rid yourself of a guy who won an ncaa championship and said youre going to put the players on the field whom give you the best chance to win. If your starter cant get past a zero quarterback rating then youre hurting every position on the field.

So you somehow know that if Jaworki was benched in those situations, that would of been the end of his career?! Give me a break. It's ridiculous to think these guys don't have any shred of mental toughness.
that woulda been the end of the polish rifle, yep.

If getting benched ruins someones career because of psychological stress... then they were never going to mount to much anyways in the NFL.
not many people in the world can do this job as it is.

wrong....so wrong....you havent watched a lot. Thats why Vermeil wouldnt sit Jaworski down. Once theyre down theyre out.

He's not dragging his feet. Tuesday or Wednesday is the time you'd expect the coach to announce such a change. Especially McD, who does nothing hastily. His discipline is to complete all of the film review of the prior game, get the opinions of all the coaches with a say in the matter, and to decide only after that. Then he announces the decision in the next regular press conference, unless he has a tactical reason to say nothing.
i'd like herm edwards to comment on this. Film review? Did you say film review? Everybody saw it. Google the guys name and see what everyone else but this regime sees, seen, and saw.

i started then laughing then at the end of my laugh muttered you jackoff.

Esiason called him Peterson and the whole cast was laughing. Now i call him Peterson. It was funny, but they were laughing cause the guy is a starting quarterback and it was kinda funny but kinda sad at the same time. The Buffalo Bills were the joke.
-
put him in and leave him in for the rest of the season. You cant pull him out once he's in. Many a good young qb ruined that way. Jacking around with his head. They already screwed up letting Mccarron go and being stuck with just Peterson. If he wont admit to his mistakes publicly then everyone in that locker room at least should know already Josh is the guy.

makes the line look much better when the defence isn't just rushing everybody at them because they know the QB can't make a pass to his own team.....
Not saying their oline is good, but they will look better with a QB thats a threat in the passing game.
this. The Lions looked bad. Patricia is probably another in a long line of Belichick assistants that dont fare well as a head coach. Darnold gave up the pick six early and then really received no pressure to speak of. Confidence booster for him, but i watched him too many times under the gun in usc games. He will turn it over. Still think the Bills got the best qb out of the draft.

If it's a tank then he does
he's in a catch 22 situation. He shows how incompetent he's been since the off season started if Peterman cannot make a couple plays. They just singed a quarterback and let him go cause they thought the better quaterback was already on the roster.

well i have won one before. it gets exciting. you gotta take a little risk and stay away from the road most traveled sometimes. So right now i'm thinking Saints, 49ers Bears or skins. ...i know i know a lot of people dont give a damn what i'm thinking. The natrure of the nfl is a back and forth leauge.
