  1. Like I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again. JA WILL win the offseason. There are little to ZERO QBs in the league that can beat him in camp.

That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the right choice to put him in game 1. Palmer has done an exceptional job developing his game. Hopefully the Bills have good QB coaches who can do the same.

I don't understand those that think Jackson has a good chance to be the best qb in the draft. Watch the play and listen to interviews with each of the top 5 guys. If you, like me, judge your qb by Lombardi's, tell me who comes across as a guy that can lead a team to them? I cannot see a Jackson-led squad in the Super Bowl. He is an incredible athlete and fun to watch, but he is far from cerebral.

You have to take the LEADER dynamic out of the quarterback position and think of it as a skill position ONLY. Many franchises look for a QB to be THE face of an organization, but with a wonderlic score of 13 I highly doubt Jackson will ever be the face of a franchise.

    Tough, but absolutely true.

Sure.   Pete Prisco (Allen #5, top QB on his last big board).

Mel Kiper (ditto).  And Mike Mayock (#2 QB after Darnold)

I'm not saying these guys are "all that and a bag of chips" for accuracy,  but they are "so called experts" who have more media buzz and probably better research than Joe Marino of Fanrag spots.

To claim there are no experts who rated Allen highly is just weird

How about Matt Miller?? Had him No. 3 on his board last January. Couldn’t find the original link but it’s there somewhere.

  4. Already REALLY liking this forum!! One thing you all will become very familiar with soon is the Josh Allen Hype Train. ? Nobody knows where it’s coming from, no one knows its destination, but it’s VERY prominent nonetheless. Maybe he has a really good agency pulling strings, or maybe Mel Kiper Jr. has an invested interest in Josh Allen. ? Either way it will be publicity for the Bills.

When does camp start and what’s the QB competition look like now?

    Welcome to the board!

So are you guys both Wyoming fans following Josh here, or what?

1955 is hard to beat!!  I’m definitely not in the same genre as @The Virginian. He remembers the good ol’ days when Wyoming was in contention for national championships.

But I’m also an alumni of UW and a die-hard Pokes fan. Really loved Eddie when he played in Wyoming and Josh is also one of my personal favorites.

They will love him if he's any good.

If he sucks he will get **** on. Basically life as an NFL QB.

Josh can throw from multiple platforms that no other QB in the NFL can...that I can assure you of. He’s also an intelligent player and a hard worker....AJ McCarron has his work cut out for him. Not a knock on McCarron, but few QBs in this nation could beat Josh in camp.

There lies the issue though. Most of us agree he needs time to develop and learn to make better reads, but there’s no doubt everyone in Buffalo will be enamored with his skill set come regular season. Maybe he’ll be ready to start in the fall, maybe he won’t. I’m definitely interested to see where this goes.

Laradise!  Ditto on your comments.  I've been posting material over here in the hopes that the Bills faithful come to embrace Josh.  We know what Josh meant to the Wyoming Cowboys and soon I hope the Bills Mafia will come to appreciate what he means for the Bills.

Your devotion to wyo isn’t appreciated enough brother (I’ve given you a hard time a couple times lol). I’ve seen your comments on forums for different teams all across America.

Thanks for being respectful and for your interest!

  8. 2 Wyoming players on your active roster?! I guess that makes me a Buffalo Bills fan by proxy. A lot of respect for your organization and I hope Josh lives up to your expectations. He’s certainly been one of the best QBs in Wyoming in recent history, even considering his “poor” comp %.

I wouldn’t put much weight into that, there are a several factors that lead into that. You got yourself a hell of a player!!
