A group of us, including my dad and my brother attended the Bills/Bengals game in 2013. It was the one that Thad Lewis started at QB. There was a father and son sitting in front of us. It was the son's first game. He couldn't have been any more than 7 or 8 years old. Thad Lewis connected with Marquise Goodwin on a long TD pass late that tied the game. This kid turned around to high five my brother. My brother picked him up and held him over his head so he could high five the people behind us. The kid loved it and I don't think I've ever laughed that hard at a Bills game.

Who hasn’t? Von had a nice sectional sofa with those fancy built in cup holders.
The Broncos probably wouldn't have cut him if he'd crashed on Von's couch that night. 😆

Also wandered into a strangers house smashed after attending Von Millers Halloween party when he played in Denver.
The kid is an all around loser.
I thought that one was included on here but that is a good one too.

He also ran on the field to join in a bench clearing brawl with high school kids when his younger brother was playing at St. Joe's. He got kicked off the team at Clemson in addition to his high school team in PA. I'm pretty sure he got in a bar fight while at Ole' Miss. Just throwing in some stories that may have been missed in this thread.

I'm watching on YouTube and they finally just figured out there was no audio for almost 10 minutes

every state that you can gamble sports has slots, live table games etc.
I live in Elmira so I'm close to the NY/PA border. I occasionally bet on Draftkings. You cannot play table games/slots etc. in NY State. But as soon as I cross into PA those games become available. I take my car for service to a dealership in PA and have played a few hands of blackjack while I was waiting.

I've run into a lot of Bills fan when I've been traveling. I went to the fall Nascar race in Charlotte in 2017 with my dad. He lives in Holley and there were people from Brockport there for a wedding staying in the same hotel. They said something to me about the Bills shirt I had on in the lobby. Somebody yelled "Go Bills" while we were walking to our seats at the race. I went to Cape Cod and Boston a few years ago. I talked to a guy on a whale watching trip who was originally from East Aurora. Unfortunately he was a Patriots fan because he'd lived in Boston for so long. I talked to a girl from Holland waiting for the train and was approached by a couple outside of Quincy Market who were from Youngstown on that trip as well.

Always start with a Go Bills and see where it goes. If a conversation starts with a woman, you know there’s a solid chance with her, she’s already used to being optimistic and then disappointed 13 seconds later.
Not to mention she's probably not looking for a ring.

Looking back I find it very bizarre that they brought TV's into schools- at least ours- to watch this trial.
I would have been in 10th grade at the conclusion of the trial. They herded us into the library to watch the verdict live on TV.

Chris Spielman
I remember seeing on SportsCenter that the Bills had signed Chris Spielman and being so excited that my sister came downstairs to see why I was yelling. It's a shame that he only wound up playing one full season in Buffalo.

Hailee can’t take Josh anywhere!
In all seriousness, this would have never happened to Tom Brady in his prime. Tom always made sure to keep his waistline and legs in check, no matter how skinny the jeans.
It actually happened to Tom Brady during "The Match" a few years ago. Phil Mickelson loaned him a pair of rain pants.

Me as well. And then watching Thurman go to Miami? It hurt
Thurman going to Miami was brutal but I understand his side of it. If I remember correctly, he found out he'd been released from ESPN before anyone from the team had let him know. He was pissed! He said that if the the team had come to him and told him they couldn't afford him, he would have retired.

Loved listening to the coach. One of the most anticipated days of my youth was waiting for the first show where he was paired up with Mike "sports talk for smart people" Schopp. RIP big guy.
Didn't he used to play a clip over and over of Gregg Williams stating that the 2001 team had the talent to win the Super Bowl?

I found him entertaining even if he ticked us off now and then. I remember Wade Phillips and Lonnie Johnson were 2 of his favorite targets. He also used to have a column in the old "Shout!" newsletter that I enjoyed reading. The last I remember hearing him on the radio was in Rochester. He became Bob Matthews' co host for awhile. I always found that funny because I remember hearing Bob Matthews bad mouth him and the "Who loves ya baby" shtick a couple years prior.

This is pretty dumb. Imagine telling your head coach, hey, we are going to see if something better is out there. Sit tight. Why are people's brains broken?
Spot on. It's the equivalent of somebody telling their wife or girlfriend that they don't want to breakup but they want the opportunity to see if there is somebody better looking out there.
Edit- iccrewman112 beat me to the punch.

I parked in a private lot on 20A about 3 or 4 houses down from the mud lot and paid $50

A group of us are driving up tomorrow from Elmira. 🤞 The trip up should be without incident until we get to Wyoming County

The last 2 links are from the 35th anniversary VHS tape that came out in 94. I still have it. I also have the 50th year DVD. That was really good but ends with the Bills signing TO as if that was going to be the turning point of the franchise

Marino was a stud. That Clayton connection was legit.
It’s always stated but that Draft they both came out in was an incredible first round.
There were 7 Hall of Famers selected in the first round of that draft. Richard Dent was also drafted in the 8th round that year. So 8 overall. Incredible!

https://xxxxxxxxxx.com/buffalo-bills-arizona-cardinals-stefon-diggs/
This article discusses the possibility of the Bills trading Diggs to the Cardinals for one of their 2 first round picks. I personally don't see a team giving up a first for a 30 year old WR but that's just me. I was curious to see the rest of the board's opinion. The armchair GMs on here know more about cap implications etc. than I do.

I thought I read somewhere that heated vests, socks etc were allowed now.

Nowhere near enough women’s toilets.
Halftime beer lines were horribly long.
But…they do have a really cool way of filling the beer cup from the bottom through a little valve. Pretty neat!
And prices were lower than at most NFL stadiums.
Bottoms Up Tap System! There was one Bills game I attended where they used that system. I'm pretty sure it was the Bills/Dolphins Thursday night game in 2012. Haven't seen it before or since. I live in Elmira, NY. There's a bar here that has it. I guess it's super expensive to install but it's more cost effective long term. It practically eliminates over pours and foam building up in the lines. It is pretty cool.
