This thinking by McDermott is the number one reason I believe that they should just fire the guy, no matter that I still think he's a good coach in most other ways, as long as he's stubborn and stuck on defense 1st, we'll always be losers under him.

If Peterman's on the roster, he should be starting when Allen's out anyway, either cut him or get him play time to get better, stop wasting time on Derek Anderson.

Not that you care cause it seems your making a willfully dumb thread, but in the 60s the CFL was much more like the USFL of the 80s, it was a true alternative league to the NFL , was full of NFL talent and players often chose the CFL over the NFL or at a minimum it was just a notch below.

I thought he looked above average today as well, minus 2 throws he was very accurate, it was a vast improvement over the last game.

They're not a "force" and if someone is dumb enough to give us a second round pick we should take it in a min and stop worrying about scratching our way to 8-8 and just focus on one thing, developing Josh Allen to the best QB he can possibly be this season.

First, people and especially the WGR crowd mistake bringing in "choir boys" and getting players with good "football culture", I hear callers calling in and saying Brett Favre had bad character or if a guy has an dwi arrest he wouldn't be brought in because of the culture thing, both are completely false.

Josh Allen 16-33 151 yards 2 int
Josh Rosen 7-15 54 yards (so far)
Sam Darnold 17-34 yards 1 td
Baker Mayfield 14-24 yards 2 tds 1 int
Not much difference between them, Allen did have the worst game but also had the least time to throw and was under the most pressure.

Allen is fine, he looks like a rookie QB should look, up and down, the real issue is all the veterans on the oline and at all the skill positions, they should be better than this.

He was pretty bad before he was cut, he's definitely not a good teammate and 99% chance he would not come here.

Rosen is gonna be the bust of the class along with Jackson, he just doen't seem to have a NFL QB temperament.

I hate this BS taking it easy and running every single play, coaches that do this deserve the other team to come back and beat them.
WHY is Allen really starting?
