They all lie, every team drafts for need to one degree or another.

It's truly unimaginable to me that a portion of our fans actually would choose Foles, all I can say is wow.

I liked Rex, I hope he gets another HC gig, if he has a decent QB he'll be successful.

Huh? Josh Allen is a far better passer and runner than Lamar Jackson.

Heeeeeyyyyy..., isn't that Jack Nicklaus's grandson?
-
It's such a shame to keep watching Josh Allen put all but 3 or 4 balls all game right on target yet have a 50% completion % and further the fake narrative that he's inaccurate, he needs more talent and it better get done in this offseason.
-
....and when Josh Allen has a breakout 2019 season, miraculously McDermott will be coach of the year.

It was awesome except for the 4 games without watching Allen, it's the season that we've been missing for 20 years, the one where we are truly rebuilding starting with putting up with our rookie franchise QBs "learning" season.

Couldn't agree with you more.
Joe Buscaglia is precisely the same, particularly when he was the WGR-550 Bills beat reporter before Sal.
Sal is a huge fan of the team and is utterly incapable of putting his fandom to the side and objectively reporting on what's really happening within the team.
His take/judgment of a given situation is almost always wrong too.
It's fun listening to Mike Schopp try to stifle himself and deal with Sal in a respectful manner when Sal says some of this stuff.
A good recent example was Sal's explanation/declaration that Shady will be back next year, he will be a big part of the team, and the Bills likely told him "We are going to get you help" as though the organization is concerned with treating Shady with respect b/c he is a talented player.
Schopp just responded by saying "OK!" with a disbelieving, condescending tone.
LOL.
Sal is good at talking and filling up otherwise dead air time, so I guess there's that.
That's because 90% of the people calling into WNY radio are complete knuckle draggers and mouth breathers.
Good, intelligent, insightful, interesting calls are the lifeblood of these talk shows.
"complete knuckle draggers" .... yeah, that's the phrase that comes to mind reading your post.

I think Sal is good at what he does, but he is a homer. It's funny listening to him and Jeremy talk in the mornings because you know they're friends, but absolutely disagree about what is important in building a team.
Sal is like many of you, he thinks all wins matter, and would just generally feel good after a win.
Jeremy on the other hand understands that there is no such thing as momentum carrying over from season to season and that good players make a team good, not clapping and prayers.
.......and Jeremy is wrong.

Sal is by far, my favorite WGR personality.

Allen is a way better passer than the box score will tell you, its just a matter of time and talent around him before the stats catch up with the eyes.

I'm just happy we finally have a QB with the balls to make those throws even if he doesn't connect, how many times I've seen great QB make those throws seemingly only to get a pass interference call, as long as Allen puts it where only his guy has a chance to get it, I'm perfectly fine with overthrows.

I love, love Jim Kelly but I believe this as well, Allen just has infinitely more talent than any qb we've ever had, plus he has the Kelly fire about him, I have faith he'll pull the rest together over the next year.
-
This will be McDermott's downfall, same attitude as Rex, Jauron and Marrone, all of these guys still think defense wins games and they're all happy just to be ahead by a touchdown and try to run out the clock, at least to one degree or another. To where in todays NFL teams can easily score 20 plus points in 1 quarter.
-
I will never understand why those 2 do the post game, they have absolutely no people skills to allow fans to either vent a loss or celebrate a win, they constantly complain about doing the post game show, just get them out of there.

Cut him today, send a message to future useless players.

yeah, 1 year is what our patient fans are calling "finally". It's common knowledge to most fans that wide receivers take more time to develop then say running backs.

This and the fact that nobody respects the Bills passing game so defenses are bringing extra defenders into the box and daring the Bills to throw the ball. And with the exception of the Jets game the Bills pass offense has been terrible. As noted this was McCoy's best game statistically. No coincidence. Ivory's running style is better suited for the offense at this point in time because of his battering ram style.
nonsense, no one has respected the Bills passing offense for a long time and he was just fine.

He looked fine in week 10 against the NYJ with plenty of burst on his TD run that capped the opening drive.
lol, I think its safe to say if he has looked good in 1 game out of 11, he's pretty much shot.

omg, get over it, so sick of these guys complaining the Allen didn't pass enough, plain and simple, rookie QBs do not throw for 300 plus yards, if they're good they scrape and scrap yards any way that they can, break the pocket usually too soon, throw to first reads and so on, it's normal but as usual Bills fans would rather have the instant gratification of a veteran mediocre QB instead of dealing with a typical rookie QB growing pains.
-
Ones of our bigger waste of a 3rd round picks, that's saying a lot.
-
Literally , the dumbest idea ever, I guess the OP never wants the Bills to be a good team again screwing around with what? the 20th journeyman QB in 20 years, man, our fans just will never get it, round and round they go.

things like this is one of the main reasons the Pats have been the best team in the NFL over the last 20 years.
