No. He doesn’t take the heat for that. He takes the heat for pushing too hard. Being successful, and then when a big game matters like the chiefs game this year in the playoffs he goes right back to his old ways. It’s infuriating.

Sadly we just didn't have the talent on the field that game on D bc of injuries.  our defense was decimated and it showed, somehow against that cheifs defense allen gets us in to position to tie and our kicker got the yips..with what McD and Allen have been through this last year they are both feeling the pressure and are pissed ofd..I'm very curious to see how it plays out and would be awesome to see them preserve

Omg he absolutely has a bend but don’t break defense in important games and in the playoffs at the end of games. That’s 13 seconds to a T. He’s done it multiple other games as well. He did it firing the season this year (can’t remember the game) and then did it again against the chiefs in the playoffs this year. He continues to make the same mistakes coaching. Doesn’t learn from his mistakes. It’s absolutely frustrating.

I blame the players for bend but don't break for 13 seconds..I mean that was unreal..what would you call other than a deep zone??  Man under press??  I guess hindsight is 20/20 though.  My point was though mcD has become more aggressive in recent year bc of these experiences..but when pushing too hard fails he also takes the heat for it.

That point goes both ways. The other argument is we have continued to throw defensive pick after defensive pick and FA after FA and we still can’t stop teams when it matters.

I have a hint for you. It’s not a lack of talent in the defense. It’s between the ears of our idiot head coach

It's easy to simplify things to the coach that changed the culture of a team that failed for 2 decades to do anything and took tyrod taylor to the playoffs his first year.   Our defense has been tops in the league every year he's been here.  Even good this year with all we lost.  People trashed the Bernard pick(me included) and you would ignore how that panned out and focus on what hasnt worked.  I live in NC..I'm not a panther fan but remember watching them that SB year with him and hated his bend don't break defensive at the end of games. He let teams back into games late frequently and for thay reason. I expected that behavior when he came here but he changed..and I liked it, but got too aggressive at times too including this year...i feel like he's trying to solve the problem but doesn't live in the rigid box  most people do these days and is pulling out all the stops and I'll go down with him to the end for that..just my opinion though

Sean McDermott is a stupid man. And he's got Beane clearly wrapped around his finger.

How often is josh allen the reason we fail in the playoffs?? Maybe stronger defense is key as they are the ones letting us down there..cheifs won the SB with 15th ranked offense and 2nd ranked defense..only QB that showed up those playoffs against them was Allen.  I wanted Franklin but I trust him to do his thing no matter who is there more then who's one defense

  5. This is why I hate watching the draft....you fall in love with a player in a position you're team needs and he randomly falls to you unexpectedly and you draft some guy you never heard of lol..I hope it works out though

  6. I said yes bc I was not huge on either player drafted, but really on the fence.   feel like Worthy was overvalued bc of his 40 time..but giving him to the chiefs made it a scary thought.  I felt like Legette was going to be a good sleeper pick, but got overhyped into the first round and became overvalued at that point to me.  I guess we will have to wait and see what happens today.

  7. Well it was nice to see everyone united for a few days..thats clearly over.  Had Hamlin died in the hospital since what displayed on the field no one would have said anything.  Now thats hes had an amazing recovery we are being demonized for this it seems..

Honestly I'd rather us just come out and take the loss if we can than listen to the endless bitching that has already started from this.

  8. Reading jetsnations message board their fans are upset over this win like they just lost the superbowl.  Being this terrible and having fans hate you even more when you actually win a game has to be a pretty toxic enviornment for those players.  I actually feel bad for them.
