With Gronk retiring and other major free agent loses the Patriots will be much weaker and vulnerable next year.

I reviewed Sportac NFL link and looked at the current TE and WR on the roster and it's worse then what the Bills had last year.

Of course the Patriots do have 6 picks in the first three rounds to rebuild, but also have serious holes to fill.

One Bills point in this is that we can assume Hockenson, Fant and Irv Smith will all be drafted in Round 1.  I believe this may alter the approach in the rest of free agency and in the draft.  My feeling is that the Bills make a move at DT now in FA, maybe even offering a pick for TB 3 technique tackle Gerald McCoy.  With the Bucs in dire cap status, they could move him to the Bills and pick up 13 million in cap space.  That would free up the Bills to draft a TE in round 1, if a trade down is viable select Hockenson (all purpose) or Fant (major downfield threat) with their first round pick and then BPA thru the rest of the draft.

Ahahahaha ahahaha this is too much, dosent matter who they lose. Still winning the afc east, and will be in the championship game.

Position by position bills vs patriots

    QB - Huge advantage Patriots

    RB -  Close to even

    OL -  Bills slight advantage

    WR - Bills

    TE -  Bills slight advantage

PK - Bills currently until Gostowski resigns

    P  -  Patriots

    ST - Patriots

    DL - Bills

    LB - Patriots

    CB - Patriots

    S.  - Even

Look at the current Patriots roster at TE and WR, is that a competent group

Bills have no advantage at any position group on the field. The coaching in buffalo is a joke. Cleveland has better coaching

He won’t this year - but he won’t get to 45, imo.

I’m more interested in Scarnecchia.  Brady actually IS declining, and without the protection he is used to, will have a tough time getting through the season.

Sure he will make it to 45

Tom Brady will have to be knocked out of the league. Teams should send all out blitzes and hit him on every pass on time or after its out. Watching the mic’d up of the Super Bowl it was apparent the zebras didn’t like Donald tossing Brady to the ground which was a routine play. Probably only got away with it because of his own star power. That said remember back in the day defenders were allowed to drive the QB into the ground and land on them? Oh how I miss the good ole days.

    Routine? Try again

It’s an interesting question. I’ll say no because I think that they would have encountered more resistance (and more road playoff games) if they would have been trudging through the AFC North. They would still be great (and all-time great) I’m just not sure it would be 6 Super Bowl wins and 9 appearances great.

The would be great in any division or any conference. But none of thay matters, they are in the afc east and they have dominated it.

Now I’d be pissed if I were a Saints fan (or player/coach)..  I’d been all about ‘give the refs a break.. one big blown call.. they’re human.”

But the Saints could’ve won that game. Brees & Payton vs Brady & Belichick.  Ok!   Because Goff and McV choked hard.

No the saints wouldnt have won.

Those were two serious momentum swinging plays.

I wouldn't mind if they'd just call the Pats OL for a hold once in a while, maybe twice.

Hmm what about the clear hold.on the pats 4th and 1?

The pats held the. Leagues top 3 dvoa rated teams and offenses to 7 1st half points and 62 total points on this run.

And goff lol truly is bad like rosen when pressured..

  6. Goff is terrible under pressure..if you say otherwise then you think josh rosen is amazing.

Patriots will run over 85 plays, they will test mcvays patients. And if this becomes a drop back passing game for the rams they have ZERO chance

In 8 super bowls belichicks teams have held the opponents #1 RB well below their season averages and WR#1 have had over 60 yards less then their season average.

I can't think of two fan bases more deserving of a championship so my condolences in advance to the fans of whatever team loses.

I think the Rams are vastly underrated going into this game as they have more talent on both sides of the ball.  They should be favored.  Belichick will pry take away Cooks so I see a big game from Woods, Everett, and Gurley.  KC had a lot of luck with screens last game so I see Gurley having a huge game after everybody wondering what the hell's going on with him after last game.  Donald and Suh plugging up the middle will make the Pats rely more on the pass.  I just don't see the Pats offense keeping up with the Rams who will be playing with a chip on their shoulder after hearing for two weeks how they shouldn't be there.

    Rams 37

    Pats 31

Lol great write up, the patriots will control the game, they will run the ball when ever they want.

You can look back to the 2015 broncos games all you want to try to use the wade phillips can stop brady bs. Which is a crock hes 3-6 vs brady

1 game in 2005 and 2 games in 2015 againast the patriots injury riddled oline and no running game and he would be 2-6 if keshawn Martin didnt muff a punt, aybe even 1-6 because that muffed punt cost NE Home field advantage.

Rams have a better D than the Chargers and Chiefs, and a DC in Wade Phillips who has faced Brady in the past and been successful.  Rams O can put up a ton of points.

    35-14 Rams

What are you talking about. Lol did you just make that up? The chargers defense i so much bwtter than the rams.

And what success 33% in 9 games vs brady, 2 in 2015 when the patriots had no oline, and Stephan jackson carrying the football..lol.

Anyone see that cheating idiot at the pep rally before they left for Atlanta, screaming “WE’RE STILL HERE” over and over again?

    What a tool.

I hope the Rams sack him multiple times.  I hope they beat the living crap outa him.  I would never say this about and other player, but I hope he gets concussed.

Then we’ll see what he says about retirement.

    Harrrumphhh!

When did he cheat? Enlighten me
