The main reason for a smokescreen is so teams won't jump ahead of you and so you don't need to spend pick(s) to move up. Teams like the Cardinals, Ravens, Chargers, Bengals, Patriots could all pull a 2017 Chiefs or Texans "move up for a QB" like those teams did to get ahead of the Cardinals last year to select Mahomes and Watson respectively.
The patriots are very unlikley trading up. I would be shocked if they did.

According to lombardi this is the most talented qb in the draft.

Not sure where you are getting the "stealing" from. We've play the Packers 12 times and won 8. I think we'll take another win and there'll be some Cheeseheads out there making excuses about the game been stolen. Kinda like what happened last time in 2014.
If i recall the last time bills played gb rodgers had his worst game as a pro

They where getting the 5 primetime game max anyways. 49ers get 5 to, you guys are lucky you dont have a thursday night game

My thoughts exactly.
Knowing some of the idiot GMs in this league, they will probably trade New England a 1st Round Pick for him. He will play about 1 month before going on IR, then will retire in the offseason.
Armed with 3 first round picks, the Patriots will trade up for the best QB in the draft.
Tell me exactly how many times belichick has traded up in the first round?
-
Intresting belichick said the same thing today.

I have no issue with doing whatever it takes to get a franchise QB
as the draft gets closer I don't think we wil have to move up that far to get one.
if it is cleveland at #4 then they are oging to want #12 and our 1st in 2019 IMO
More like 12-22 and next years first

Belichick has earned the right to do as he wishes. And id personally rather have 10 more years of belichick over 2 with brady.

If it happens, it may lead a bit more credibility to the "Belichick to Giants" theories that were popping up earlier in the off season. What better way to start your new job than by giving your new team two extra 1sts, removing the biggest cancer on your team, and saddling your old team that scorned you with a $16 mil prim a-donna receiver?
Highly unlikley they trade for beckham. They just traded cooks because they couldnt pay him the money he would require. And they where talking with the rams for a month about this. This move has nothong to do with obj. Simply
gaining something for what you would only have for 1 more season. Plus clearing 8 or so million in cap

I didnt say they wouldnt trade with the Pats...I said no one is trying to help them post Brady...so if all things equal on a trade offer, we would have the advantage. But, we have more assets and better assets than the Pats anyway, so we can still outbid them IF Beane wants to.
New England is likley not moving up in the draft. They traded cooks because they where not gonna be on the same page and offer him top WR money, so they got a pick that was better than they gave up. Theu didnt do this deal so they can try to jump to the top of the draft. And if the pats dp any trading it will probably be moving back.

How are they gonna pay odell the huge contract he wants?

NFLN speculation is that the Pats trade their two firsts for ODB. But the Conspiracy Theory Network says the Pats are all in on screwing the Bills regardless of player picked.
Hard to say, I guess...
They are not gonna get OBJ. they cant afford the contract and money he wants. This is not even plausible
-
They got a first for someone they where not gonna be paying after the season.

I will say it, I want to see Gronk's retirement decision made by someone other than himself. Hopefully a strong safety.
That hit on Tre still disgusts me and I want the oaf to return this season so he can get what's coming.
Maybe the great lord will send whats coming youre way.

Brissett is not that good. He had no use on the patriots roster. When edleman went down they needed a wide reciever. And dorsett made a play that helped win the championship game. What was new england gonna do with dorsett. They where not keeping 3 guys on the active roster. They utilized him during bradys suspension.

We didnt have a good defense. It was terrible all year. I dont know who that group held teams how it did during the season.
Eric Lee
RJF
An aging harrison
Kyle van noy
Laurance Guy
Harvey Langie
Adam Butler
Not really a good group of talent.

I agree without the main cheating ingredient no dynasty. Billacheat took a late round QB and turned him into a HOFer. Scandals happened because of what the Billacheat was willing to do to win. IMO
Brady needed deflated balls and the playbook of the other teams to make his success happen. Paid off refs by Billacheat the one that was the head of the officiating committee. Billacheat tells owner to pay Brady a standard starting QB contract but even it out by giving him money on the side so he remains happy with it so the team has money for other positions . Add some drugs to make Brady inhuman and Billacheat created the best QB ever. Without Billacheat Brady is nothing but a backup QB on another team if he is even that being such a late round pick .
Be more respectful to youre owners

It was pretty classless for him to just quit on the bills. However I do think after a year off and playing with a good QB, he can be successful still. I don't think he's about to lead the NFL in receiving yards though
Just the same can be said for reggie wayne
