Passed on Wingo for this JAG
-
As was noted - dropping back to 40 is risky but adding a 3rd rounder should be the reward.
Legette and Sweat would probably both be there at 40 and I would pick one and then trade up using next years extra second to try to get the other too!

Was doing a mock draft and he was there in late 5th.
i like him as a Josh Allen type of back up. Could play similar style to Josh if we ever needed a backup to step in a couple games.
and sitting behind Josh a couple years…could develop into something special.
what do you think?

No. There is plenty of WR talent to be had in the first 3 rounds.
i even like the Bills trading down a few spots in Rd 1 and getting more picks…
plus using the extra second from next year to move into the 3rd.
give me 2 of:
Xavier Legette, Ricky Pearsall, Roman Wilson, Ladd McConkey, Jermaine Burton.
and grab Luke McCaffrey later ….

I just think of Legette as a late bloomer (age aside). I’d be surprised if he liked Coleman because of the lack of separation. He likes guys that get space. AD Mitchell absolutely fits the description but his George Pickens level effort may turn him off. He probably loves Thomas but I think he is gone in the top 15.
My guess is if one of the top 3 are on the board at 9, he’s on the phone. He can get a stud that CAN be a number 1 on a rookie deal for 5 years. The Bears only have like 4 picks. You could do something like 28, 2025 1st, pick 128 and pick 133. I think that’s close on the trade chart. You’d still have 60 and a whole bunch of late round picks to fill out your depth with.
my head says that is a lot to give up for a non-QB. But my heart says to give Josh a lethal weapon and we are SB bound!
Follow the heart and win now - pay up later. -
With Franklin coming for a visit, I thought the Bills were high on him…but now I think with him testing poorly, they want to see what is there (or not). So I liked the possibility of him as a pick.
lately have been more intrigued by Legette!

trade down our first round pick, for a DT (eyes roll) , and an extra pick, but in the end it turns out a good move:
What do you think?
DT T’Vondre Sweat, Texas
WR Troy Franklin, Oregon
CB Max Melton, Rutgets
S Kamren Kinchens, Miami (Fl.)
C Hunter Nourzad, Penn State
RB Auric Estime, Notre Dame
WR Johnny Wilson, Florida State
EDGE Myles Cole, Texas Tech
G Mason McCormick, South Dakota State
DT Logan Lee, Iowa

I like these solid signings. Not superstars but solid.
it gives me hope the Bills will move up and draft Brian Thomas WR in round 1.

Watch number 33 for Miami on that one Mahomes scramble, talk about zero effort.
Looked like Von Miller…..just sayin’

If the Bills win, then they have One less day of rest on the calendar for the next game, BUT : they are playing at home so they don’t have a travel day to contend with….seems to me it evens things up😊

I am disappointed that Von Miller is active.
drives me nuts seeing him play so badly…and I can’t stop watching that train wreck 😩
maybe I’ll try putting a piece of tape over him on the TV , so can enjoy the rest of the D dominating LOL

Agree 100%. McDaniels needs to win this game (and make a statement doing so) to cement his reputation as the new McVay/Shanny. He needs to coach up the game of his life and I’m sure he know that. We are gonna get their A game tomorrow night and had better be ready.
Joe Brady needs to win this game (and make a statement doing so) to build his reputation as an up and coming OC.He needs to coach up the game of his life and I’m sure he knows that. Miami needs to get our A game tomorrow night , and the O had better be ready.

I think the Bills do both: draft a WR in first round and sign a free agent that can be #2 (challenge Diggs for #1 spot).
They are set at TE, RB and OL.
the rest of available $ and picks will go on defense rebuild. -

Coach McD ? Is that you talking in your sleep again? Wake up to reality!

Agree with all EXCEPT: Brandon Beane should be credited for bringing in the talent mentioned above.
McD gets credit for using them and their skill sets in ways to get the most out of them & the group as a whole.- 1

Bills o line wearing white gloves? Jeesh, they just scream “look at my hands” against those blue jerseys. And surely helped draw those critical holding penalties. Mitch Morse’s one was where I thought that as an inside lineman, if he had blue gloves on, no way do the refs see / call that.
I noticed several DBs wearing blue gloves that blended in.
-
McD has got to be seeing his performance on tape. Several times the play comes right at him, as he is so easy to move. And just an initial couple steps and then - stops! And becomes a spectator!!! WTF?
I agree with others = a total liability.he should not be out there.
-
Von Miller is still playing like a stiff. Please take him off the field - it is like they have 10 players when he’s out there

Would like to see Bills try a jet sweep, just to give something for defenses to worry about

Can the folks in WNY verify any of this:
the rumors out there are that before the Bengals playoff game was when Josh’s girlfriend was breaking up/ moving out. Police were called to his house due to the fighting going on. Josh was physically and emotionally drained by game time….Steph Diggs knew this and was in Josh’s face on the sideline to get his head out of his but and lead this team to a win…
anyone know? Brother in police that was there, etc.

I think the Ravens at SF is gonna give a feel for what the Bills would look like vs the 49’ers.
a multi threat QB and a strong defense

I think Hamlin loses out this year.
and based on 2 special teams gaffes from last year: a successful fake punt - pass to his side that he blew coverage on.
and the Bills fake punt that he looked surprised on- and ran it nowhere, i think I’ve seen enough.
a great sympathy / comeback story. But he’s just not good enough.
