Proof he played on Sunday since we didn’t notice him during the game

I was really disappointed in Jerry's performance on Sunday. I am a huge Hughes fan but was expecting him to have a day against Newhouse (who is not good.).

The pass rush in general really let me down. I was hoping Tom would get smacked around a bit.

    Yeah, he's a terrible listen.

Guys, why do you see this as a bad thing? Would you rather have a coach that makes headlines for the stupid stuff they say? Like Rex guaranteeing a playoff birth? His goal is to avoid distractions, not give you an inside scoop. I'm sorry but I'll take that all day long.

  3. I distinctly remember Ty falling flat on his back immediately after the snap on one play. Josh stepped up nicely and dropped a dime to Cole that he dropped, but idk how you can give a 100% grade when he let a free rusher in. Does anyone else remember the play I'm referring to?

  4. Having a rookie qb with little to no talent around him kept Daboll "on a short leash", not McD. I get the feeling that Sean is comfortable delegating responsibility to hardworking growth mindset individuals like Daboll. He's also got great experience at successful organizations filling important roles. I'd say Brian is in complete control and if Josh can take the year twp leap I'm hoping for, I think this offense is going to put up alot more points than last year.

Bruce of course.  In his prime there has been nobody better.

Now don't take this as a knock, because Bruce was my favorite player growing up. One of my earliest memories of watching the bills with my dad was after a Bruce sack, I thought everyone was booing him. And my dad clearly demonstrated that they were in fact yelling BRUUUUUUUUUCCCEEE, and we stood up and joined the crowd from our living room.

But I have seen a lot of old film on Lawrence Taylor (the OG LT) and heard interviews from his opponents, and I think he gives ....wait a second.....LT played LB... Disregard.

Jesus, I need to go home. Is it 3 yet?!

  6. The wr's are being chased by the db's. If it's man coverage, the db's eyes are on the wr and not the qb. So when he takes off there's green grass as the wr's run the db's out of the play.

If the wr's went to that green grass, they'd bring the coverage, and it wouldn't be so wide open.

Now each play call will have a slightly different route combination, which will often times (hopefully) try to exploit the center of the field as it opens up.

  7. Ryan Groy is bad. I thought he was far better than he's playing because I remember him filling in admirably for Eric when he broke his leg. But after watching his performance Sunday and vs the Bengals it is obvious: he is bad. He's on his belly/back far more than one would hope/expect.

Which means Bodine must be just as bad if not worse if you still start Groy after performances like this.

While I'm on the subject of bad... K.B. Dear god bud. I don't feel as though I need to elaborate as most of us have watched him "play" recently.

Like McD as a coach but I think it’s a bit optimistic to think the bills will get 9 or 10 wins with this roster.

Hopefully they prove me wrong just like last year.

Last year the talk was of a tank. This year we're a no win, or bottom 3 team. It's easy to look from the outside in and guess a record. I think this team will surprise us again and as OP stated it comes down to the coaching. The heart that this team has. The comradry. Guys playing for each other and not for themselves. Now I'm not saying we will make the playoffs (I'm sure as hell hoping). But I don't think 8-9 wins is a long shot.
